Her favorite and most unique feature about her hair is the odd yet natural coloration of her hair. Her hair can be described as mushroom brown with its coloration, it getting its name from looking like the cap of naturally brown mushrooms - particularly portobello mushrooms. The darkest parts of her hair are at the top and they are a very dark brown, almost black looking color, but as you go down to the middle of her hair you start to see her hair looking a bit cooler in a way, with normal brown tones intermixed with slightly lighter tans, and then at the tips or ends of her hair it looks almost very light — nearly blonde if you will. It's these colors in combination that gives her the ashy or grayish looking neutral tone to her hair that makes her a mushroom brunette. Her hair is rather long , wild and messy — a bit like her . This beautiful young woman's crown of hair stops at her waist, and it has a very high volume and thickness to it that it crowns her head with beauty and anyone without hair would envy her and those who know how hard it it is to manage such an amount of thick hair wouldn't want to be her. Her hair is well-maintained by an assortment of expensive oils, shampoos, and conditioners and she wouldn't have it any other way. Her figure is curved and feminine, but she still holds some toned muscle. Particularly in her arms and legs from her constant work, though not enough to make her appear buff, you'll be surprised at her strength if you ever get into a tussle with her. Now her skin tone has warm undertones, and the color overall is considered to be almond. With this being said her color is noticeably darker and allows her to easily tan in the summer, and has little trouble when it comes to burning. Her skin itself is rather smooth, though she does have light acne scars around her temples and sides of her forehead, though it is mostly the coloring and not deep markings. Her natural hair is defined waves, not quite spiral curls, but not limp waves either, it's more of a mixture between the two, though appears more like curls. It could be considered 2c curls. Ana Lucia's hair is parted similar to a middle part, though is not just a straight line, it is parted rather "rough". She normally likes to wear her down, but has half of it pinned up is a silver clip given to her as a gift by her mother. To keep her hair out of her face so she can work better.

When describing this woman on first appearances you notice that she has what can be described as a pear body shape. Being more heavy and thicker in the thighs and hip area due to her body shape - her hips are also slightly wider than average and she also has what can be described as a bit of dip hips. Also, her waistline is more well-defined and noticeable - her bust area is moderate, it's noticeable but not exactly large like some women have it. Thoughts On The Kingdom Of Aibruvia: In general, Vadik is fond of Aibruvia. It is the kingdom that took him in after he had been exiled from Slerosea, after all. He is very thankful for this. However, this is also why he is quite troubled with the recent changes in the King. Vadik wishes to speak up but he knows that such an act from him would not go over very well and could shatter the trust he had to work so hard to gain.

Backstory: Vadik was born into the Volkov family of Cyro. The Volkov’s had many connections with the assassins that could be found in the mountainous kingdom so it was no surprise that his father trained him in the art of stealth and killing. At the age of 16 Vadik had become an assassin and quickly made a name for himself throughout the frozen land. However, at the age of 18, Vadik misidentified his target and ended up killing a member of the council of the Earl of Cyro. This grave mistake led to him being hunted and chased out of the kingdom.

For a year Vadik lived in the wilds until he entered the kingdom of Aibruvia. Once there and seeing how the people lived, Vadik had decided that he no longer wished to be without a place to call his own. Vadik started to pick up odd jobs here and there and eventually gained a decent reputation around Nouiva. His reputation to want to help out the citizens of Nouiva soon caught the attention of some of the knights. With their help and the help of a couple of the citizens, Vadik was eventually accepted into the ranks of the knights. However, once a knight, Vadik soon realized that he had to work very hard to gain the trust of those around him. His skill in combat and his strong determination to gain the trust of his fellow knights helped Vadik climb through the ranks. Even once he became a royal guard Vadik knew he did not have the trust of all of the knights and never would. This knowledge does not stop him though. He will continue to do his job and protect the royal family no matter what.

Thoughts On The Kingdom Of Aibruvia: Rainier loves the kingdom from what little he has seen. The spectacular sights, stunning shores, and amazing hospitality. With such a strong military presence and unending opportunity, Rainier thinks it is near perfect. Except for the leadership that is.

Appearance: Standing at roughly six foot two, much taller than his twin sister, Rainier looks often very intimidating and very masculine when he does not have a warm smile on his features. With wide shoulders and smaller hips, he is exactly the form that many elite swimmers take on with well defined muscles along his whole body. His skin is a lighter shade of espresso and is often warm and smooth to the touch, somehow never being cold nor rough even after having spent time in freezing temperatures or using a sword to the point where most peoples’ skin would be filled with blisters. Rainier only has a few, faint scars on his body, but the only one that is truly present without someone being forced to squint and analyze him is the small one on his knee he earned from quite the embarrassing story. Rainier does also have a few tattoos on his body although they are mostly small. On the left side of his neck, a small black and white rose blooms but is no bigger than the circle one can make with their pinkie and thumb. Printed on his wrist is the moon’s phases and on his heels is a small heart. Although, he does have a much more elaborate tattoo on his upper back. The black and white tattoo is of a crescent moon with jewels dripping and hanging down from it as clouds hover under it and cover the moon ever so slightly. Stars that look like the jewels surround the moon in a hypnotizing circle while the clouds rain down even more of these dark, tear-shaped gems.

Unlike his sister, Rainier tends to keep his hair short and well kept despite his hair’s attempts to do otherwise. His black hair (that he always argues is just a really dark brown) is shaved down at the sides with his hair curling and framing one side of his face and the other, despite his best efforts to keep the right side of his hair tucked behind his ear, will often fall forward and in his face if he tries to read. Although his hair is mostly plain black, he does have a few lighter highlights as well as the tips of his hair being a much lighter brown. He has narrow eyes that are a soft hazel color with green swirls and a warm tone with understanding and patience in them. Because of the dark eyeshadow and dark green eyeliner, most people find him rather intimidating if he ever gets lost in thought, but his eyes always seem to sparkle when he is smiling and instantly becomes much more approachable. He has no freckles to speak of, but he does have quite a few beauty marks. One dark circle under his left eye, one behind his right ear, one on the back of his neck, and several on his hands are often the only ones visible on the skin he does reveal, but there are quite a few in other places as well. He has a small polite smile, but when he laughs his whole face seems to light up and glow, his laughter instantly beckons for others to laugh with him.

Rainier’s clothes are often elaborate and intricate unless he is doing a much less formal activity such as fencing, archery, or simply going on long walks. He’ll wear black suits with dark green vests underneath and a green folded napkin in his chest pocket. He generally hates to wear these clothes as he finds them restricting especially when he wears a tie. Despite how much he hates them, he wears them most often because that’s just what he has been taught to do; however, he will always express himself by wearing silver jewelry to balance out his lack of true choice in clothing. He’ll were long chain necklaces when he isn’t forced to wear a tie, chain rings and thick bracelets when he isn’t forced to wear black gloves, and will always wear silver stud earrings, one that is just a simple stud and the other that is a downward facing dagger, and chain earrings which connect his ear lobe to the sides of his ears and that dangle a star on his right ear and a crescent on his left.

Personality: Rainier is quiet and reserved for the most part, seemingly sticking to himself unless someone begins conversation with him. Contrary to how he appears, he is rather chatty once he is engaged in a conversation. Despite his brooding nature and dark clothes, he acts rather happy and bubbly whenever anyone speaks with him. Rainier will tend to be a bit awkward with his words at first but will always be polite and seemingly genuine. Rainier seems to always be overly optimistic and see the positive side of any situation. However, he recognizes the negatives and the faults of a bad scenario despite his focus on the positive and will always do his best to fix it. For example, if a friend loses their wallet, Rainier will say that this gives them a good opportunity to not only buy a new, better wallet but hopefully someone deserving of the money in the wallet will find it. In the future, he will make sure his friend either keeps their wallet in a purse or on a strap around their wrist. Despite his uptight and gloomy looks, Rainier is often laid back and cheerful, teasing his friends and sister and often being very relaxed and clear headed even when in stressful situations. Although he might be more lax than most royal people his age, he still likes activity. When trying to get to know a new person, he’ll suggest a swim, to train with them, or just to take a stroll or hike along the shoreside or to a new location. While Rainier has a lot of positive qualities, he does have quite a few negative aspects to him. He often is very controlling of others and wanting order as he finds disorder to be problematic and to be dangerous at times. He also can be over protective of others and, despite his genuine love and care for the individual, he can use his manipulation tactics to gain “control” over them and to instruct them to do things according to his “plan.” Although this sounds cruel, Rainier does it with their best intentions at heart with the genuine belief that he can protect and aid them better this way. He doesn’t like to do it and it does make him feel guilty, but if it helps to aid whatever plan he has made in his mind at that time, he generally sees it as worth the pain and guilt.

Still, as with every overactive mind there's a seed of doubt in everything she observes. Aislin knows it doesn't do well to water that with false rumors and dark whispers. Wild tales had a way of traveling fast back home, and that always lead to trouble.

At first glance Aislin appears to be a simple looking girl, her dark brown hair almost dead straight with a slight waviness, that ends just past her shoulders. Her deep-set, narrow eyes are generally void of any clear emotion when she is preoccupied by something she considers a menial task - her body working while her mind is wanding to more interesting thought processes. However, any curious soul who spares more than a glance may notice there's a little more to her.

Her eyes are a subtle hazel: a ring of leafy green encompassing the little brown ring that blends into the iris. Her long eyelashes frame her eyes, casting a little shadow that muffles the green tone of her iris. In light, her eyes more noticibly have tiny flecks of brown and greens.

Her hair is more of a dark mahogany brown, sometimes catching the sunlight and turning strands silvery, with the tips long sun-bleached into a slightly lighter brown. Often she is seen curling a few strands of hair around her fingertips as she is lost in thought - another habit she has tried and failed to shake.

She is about 5'5", with long, elegant, yet moderately powerful legs, and a small torso. Her build is not particularly athletic, but she has begun to gain some muscle mass as she helps with assorted tasks. A most notable feature of Aislin is how pale she is. She finds this somewhat frustrating, with people often making comments and her skin sometimes susceptible to burning in the sun. Her time in the outdoors has gained her some freckles along the bridge of her nose but they have somewhat faded as she grows older. With the perfect weather her cheeks catch the sunlight and turn a rosy shade.

The clearest indicator of Aislin's mood is by watching her mouth. Though she has thin lips, they stretch into a well-practised smile easily - and her joy is clearly portrayed by the dimple on one cheek. At rest, her mouth tilts into a passive smile whereas she mearly wears a saddened frown when angered or dissapointed. She tends to bite or chew her lower lip when anxious.

Aislin's clothing mainly consists of woolen jumpers in a minimal range of colours. She leans towords shades of green, grey, whites, browns and creme, occasionally wearing yellow if she feels particularly happy. Her wardobe doesn't involve much formal wear, other than an old emerald green dress that belonged to her mother, and a white blazer with a satisfying amount of pockets. Her most worn items are an assortment of gardening trousers with knee pads, cardigans and tops she has printed and pressed flowers onto. All kinds of boots are often parts of her outfits: leather and rubber. If she is wearing it, the outfit most likely has a decent amount of pockets, in which she carries around small, meaningful or useful items such as her notebook and something to write with, or a picture of her family.

Her work wear is usually a creme or white blouse, with neat brown or black trousers, and sometimes a brown pinafore with big pockets. She often matches these with a cardigan, again with pockets, and her tidiest pair of boots. These are always kept clean, in comparison with her slightly scruffy, occasionally muddy gardenwear.

Aislin's most prominent quality is her intense warm-heartedness. Her somewhat absent smile is always sincere, even if she's not paying full attention to whoever's speaking to her. She carries a determined optimism for every person she meets and firmly believes there is hope for every person - nievely putting her trust in the majority of people she meets. That said, she would not hesitate to protect those she cares for - preferring a defensive stance in the majority of these situations.

Her protective nature stems from her large family. As the second eldest sister of many younger children, she has gained many small skills that prove useful - she is an incredible braider, having practiced on her siblings many times over, a master hair-detangler and a wonderful storyteller. She regularly contacts home, wanting to keep up with her family whenever she can, especially her sister and Father - a great inspiration for many of her stories.

Aislin is a pretty private person most of the time - she's happy to engage in Smalltalk or whatever, but can shy away from anything too deep. She doesn't know how to handle others' powerful emotions sometimes, and prefers to watch action from far behind the sidelines - with the medieval equivalent of popcorn of course. She's definitely one to take note of any drama, even though she's rarely if ever partake in it. Her notebook may or may not be filled with a wild assortment of overheard conversations that probably shouldn't have been put to paper - but she guards that thing agressively, and there's often no telling what's real and what's fake.

Despite her non-buisness personality being fairly shy, she still has well-developed buisness conversational skills, and she has learnt this largely from her parents. She doesn't exactly manipulate people, but she can be quite convincing, and often has a good solution for a range of problems in mind that provide a satisfactory outcome to both parties. Her smooth talking does require a little pre-planning but she does manage some improv if she's not too stressed, in which case she can become largely convincing - especially if she is taking the upper hand.

+ Learned to adapt to a wide range of senarios, and while it may take her a second to break free from the initial freeze of a sudden new, unfamiliar event, she carefully adjusts. Her father would take his two eldest girls out to learn important skills of which they retained even a decade or so later. They would hike out into the wilds of the kingdom - Aislin quickly learning basic survival skills and semi-decent cooking skills.

+ Musical talent wouldn't be much of appear to be much of a strength but it has come in useful for a handful of occasions. She can semi-decently a wide range of instruments, favouring the flute, and has a keen ear. Her skill comes in useful for settling down the younger princesses with some calming melodies. That and taming an assortment of other creatures. As a child she learned for her father, dueting with her sister as a surprise for each return; he watched proudly as both improved each time.

+ Undoubtedly intelligent, thanks to the Kingdom's excellent education she received as a child. However she diverted from her wanted path to becoming a doctor when her father's health declined (as well as when she discovered what it really took - yuck.) At turbulant times like these she preferred to stay home and cultivate the local plants and herbs, staying loyally by her father's side. Growing up into an adult, she found herself more and more interested and soon dedicated herself to researching all the plants she could find. Her wide knowledge is useful in some situations. She knows the majority of plants by sight and enjoys sharing interested snippets of information she has gathered: evidence of several years' labour of love.

+ An avid storyteller, sharing myths and legends passed down from the community, telling stories of her parents' explorer days (passed down through her father) and even creating her own tales in her free time. Usually carrying around a small notebook, she is prone to writing down random incomprehensible notes throughout the day, a trait she picked up from her father. Aislin is very private and gets quite shy and embarrassed when people inquire about her stories. Though her father has tried to convince her they're enjoyable for many and ought to be shared, she only shares them with a select few.

+ Somewhat Lucky. While she has the tendency to trip over her own feet, she always lands back on them and has never been injured from the occasional silly missteps she takes. The only thing she's been really unlucky about so far is growing four leaved clovers. Maybe one day.

- Rather scatterbrained and easily confused - Aislin is easily taken advantage of. She's somewhat aware of this, but doesn't let this disrupt her trustful instinct. Maybe blindly trusting strangers is a sign of how immature she still is, and how her father overly sheltered her. Perhaps she will soon grow out of this childlike trait.

- Hearing. She has auditory processing difficulties when stressed, and often takes a moment to understand exactly what you'd like her to do. As soon as she catches on however, she quickly and efficiently completes her tasks with a spring in her step. Her eagerness to please is often amusing, but exceedingly helpful.

- Stubborn and disorganized. Aside from those she admires, she doesn't really care about anyone's opinion of her. In a way she's a bit dismissive of any constructive critisism from other people, and can give people the wrong image of herself. She also tends to zone out, often daydreaming and getting lost in a flurry of thoughts. Her personal space may be a bit of a mess, but it's organised to her and that's all she cares about. She argues that there's layers to her 'organisation' but it's deep, deep down under the stacks of paper and colourful plant-pots.

- Somewhat shy, Aislin struggles to express her own opinions. When you first meet her, she will be very quiet until she warms up to you. She sometimes finds herself backing someone else's opinions that she may not agree with, and sometimes feels pressured into agreeing with her friends, even if her opinion is different. With topics she is intensely passionate about or with people she feels confident with, however, she tries to share more of her thoughts and feelings.

- Not very physically strong. Her arms lack much muscle but her legs are decently strong due to long hikes with her sister and Father when she was younger. She struggles with some tasks because of her weak upper body strength but is trying to become stronger through self defense training. That is if she stops procrastinating and actually does it.

Plants & Botany - as a child she was taught the many uses of local herbs and native flora. This soon blossomed into a full-fledged passion for plantlife of all kinds. She is able to create a garden from scratch, nearly anywhere and spends a lot of time taking care of her own plants and herb gardens. She also knows a wide range of uses for these plants - being able to create certain herbal remedies.

Spiders - Aislin always finds it amusing when people cower around spiders. To her, they're helpful little garden keepers that keep pests at bay. She often keeps some in little handmade enclosures made from jamjars and whatever woodland scraps she's collected.

Hot weather - she cannot stand anything too warm or humid, often stubbornly staying in her comfortable, thick clothing even when she is boiling beneath them. She doesn't mind a bit of sun, but thrives in the cool rain-showers and misty breeze.

Garden pests - aphids, slugs, caterpillars, even birds. If it touches her fresh herbs she's guaranteed to have a distaste for it. She'll easily become bad tempered if she is forced to regrow everything from scratch. Her garden is definitely her happy place.

Body fluids - the main reason she gave up on the medical route. Aislin cannot stand anything gross like that, but her caring nature just about outways her disgust - or at least sometimes.

Loud noises - anything loud: people, animals, large crowds and even thunder greatly unnerves her. She's overly sensitive to noise, and can be overwhelmed easily. She especially hates people who talk loudly and far too often, finding their inflated self importance irritating.

A large, warm-hearted family living in Pyrin: her father, step-mother and one older sister who she essentially idolises as well as many younger half-siblings.

Her mother, a well known explorer - turned pirate, was belived to have passed when she was 3.

Aislin is the second born child of Mertensia and Rowan Echethier, two formerly, locally well known explorers. As they had children, Rowan slowly ceased to travel, much preferring to stay home and take care of his young daughters. Meanwhile Mertensia's escapades became more daring, and soon outright dangerous. Tales of her adventures in particular became somewhat of a local legend.

Not long after Mertensia became popular a little further afield, she dissapeared and was believed to have passed, leaving her husband and the 5 year old Marie and 3 year old Aislin.

Rowan - the father who adored children and who had always longed for a large family to call his own - was able to make peace with Mertensia's dissapearance, and was able to move on, a few years later falling for another woman named Leilani. They had their own children - 5 of them, and together worked to help the community and their family. They soon expanded into a large business, with a lot of charity work alongside.

Aislin has little memory of her mother, and while she is upset at not remembering her properly, has also accepted the reality. Her birth mother is long gone. She adores Leilani and all her half-siblings, constantly offering to help out. Her mother has faded into legend, she reminds herself, but she also has a mother still here - one who will always protect her family.

After her initial dreams of becoming a doctor seemed to be more bleak and unappealing, Aislin began to search for positions that would help people. She caught wind of the Hand Maiden role soon enough and was able to use her skills and connections to get the role. Now she resides in the palace, with a little flat and gardens off the grounds where she keeps a large collection of plants. She is very content in her role, caring primarily for Princess Phoebe and doing her best not to get on Gene's nerves. Both surprisingly tricky tasks. Nevertheless, she's happy in her place for now - taking in the royal gardens and sharing her stories with the youngest princesses.

If you ever visit Pyrin you will know of the Echethier family. While they are, officially, of no higher status than the majority of commoners, they have built a network on foundations of kindness and service. It has allowed their children to climb the ranks of the society so quickly - their eldest daughter gaining a scholarship to study medicine, and their second daughter Aislin to be employed as a handmaiden.
