~ L L O R A ~
[ Yo - rah ]
Two hundred and thirty six years of age // Female // Heterosexual // Original Dragon
She does not know what she is. For the sake of documentation, she is classified under “lunar”, primarily having spikes in activity between the hours of dusk and dawn.
Rider:
I think uh, the only one left is Solaris xD
-- SOLARIS --
Appearance:
If you've ever imagined a dragon, it probably wouldn't be imagining them as a wiry, agile thing built to run. After all, they have wings, don't they? And aren't they usually stocky, large, menaces with internal explosions that mean fire, danger, run, FIRE? Well. Llora's a little bit different. Rather than being what one would expect in a dragon, her body is very lithe and graceful, and it's just as comfortable for her to go running as it is for her to be flying (even though she loves flight and all aspects of it). Her chest is wide, with long legs and a strong, lengthy gait- not unlike a greyhound's. Even if she's rather short, a non-adult standing at only seventeen feet, that doesn't stop her from holding her head high.
Quite interestingly, she takes on the characteristics similar to a cat, or a bird, or many furred or feathered animals. Every now and then (a few times in a day, perhaps), she can be seen preening herself, making her dark scales shine, her feathers (wait, feathers??) collected and orderly. At nighttime, she can be easily missed- the majority of her scales are a deep shade of grayish blue, helping her hide in nocturnal territories with ease. The scales that decorate her underbelly are pale, often compared to a lighter shade of the night sky or the reflection off of trees (at some point, there's been a discussion in SOMEone's free time). The only stark contrast she has that makes her stand out? Her horns that stick straight up, and the porcelain scales against the obsidian eyes, the dark ridges of spikes that run down her skull and neck.
Here's where the feathers come in. She doesn't quite have the large, leathery wings to be expected of the reptile. Hers resemble more of a bird's. Long and feathered, with white stripes running along their undersides, they often make one think of a falcon's wings, built for speed and agility. Even without the typical expectations, she is able to keep up just as well, if not better, than other dragons of her age. Even in the air, she'll pull stunts just because she likes being in the air- not to show off. That's just a perk.
Personality:
Upon first meeting Llora, one might seem so incredibly... unsettled. Perhaps it is the cold, graceful way she walks into a room. Perhaps it is the soulless eyes set into bone. Something about her particular pattern of behaviors makes her seem so careless about anything that should be important- as if she wants you to believe you're nothing to her. As though before she has even met you, she's decided that you are not worth her time. And in truth? It can be that way, with her. If you aren't what she deems "worth talking to", she'll ignore you. Often, the ones she hangs around are the ones who believe they're the only ones worth anything. To a degree, her and her rider are more important to her than anything else.
She's very comfortable around people, around dragons. Her not speaking to some is purely by choice alone- she is not afraid or nervous of people, and if a situation requires it, she'll talk to someone she doesn't want to. Really though? She doesn't like to be alone. She's just... selective. So long as it involves anyone she considers "worth her time", whether it's a mentor, a friend, or a person, anything and everything they could do, they'd most likely do together (especially flying, and especially at night). Does that mean she can't do things by herself? No. Despite everything, Llora is anything if not capable.
More often than not, she has a habit of taking charge in a group setting. In training, in surprise situations, anything where someone can be the leader- unless she respects them, you'd better believe she's trying to tell them what to do. It's hard to get her to respect others- most likely as they don't resist her. She offers the slightest bit of pressure, most of the ones she's gotten to know cave under just a look from her direction. And it makes her laugh.
She gets frustrated very easily, and teaching isn't her strong suit (most of the time). At times she actually tries to give advice, but oftentimes it's just her not really caring enough to try and help. If she knows she has to- she'll do it. Or if she's really lost, can't she just ask her rider? Obviously they'd know better than her.
And yet, despite everything, she has such a capacity for kindness.
-
{ She enjoys rain, and fields of flowers, and things that look pretty. She likes to fly, likes to look at the moon and stars. Likes to shine as an example for all the younglings. }
[ She doesn't like things that argue with her, rotten fruit or chasing prey (she prefers the stalk to the chase), she doesn't like to wade through muddy lakes and swamps. She doesn't like how they smell, how they get her scales all dirty. ]

Abilities:
Luminescence
Her white scales emit a light glow in the dark. It is very bare- it can only be seen in the dead of night, or in a dark, enclosed space. It's enough to read close by, to let her see in the murky depths of night, but it doesn't otherwise do much. Theoretically, she could strengthen it, and theoretically, it would take active energy to control. Energy she needs for other things, like being on guard in the middle of nowhere at midnight.
Fire
[DRACARYS.] (No, I'm kidding xD) Llora can breathe fire via a 'second throat'. It's fireproof (the science of fire-breathing lizards? Hmm). She has a limited supply of fire, as most dragons with a breath ability, and it uses up her energy gained from food stores. She, in particular, does not use it very often. She just likes to threaten, let her throat light up with the signs of incoming fire, then huff and sneer, if she has to.
Transfiguration
One thing in particular she can do is to magically sever a piece of her- a piece of bone. It is painful, and it takes time- but if magically removed, it will regrow. Depending on the part of her she takes, it could take weeks, months, or even years. The piece she takes, she can morph into anything to become a conduit, of sorts. As it takes an ability to remove, and magic threads itself through the very core of the bone, it becomes perfect to channel magics that cannot be easily seen or sensed. It doesn't "take them", and it only has a limited amount of magic it can channel at once. Say she takes from a venom dragon, and stabs someone (or, a tree), with it. The conduit is now empty.
Senses
She can sense threads of magic. As it turns out, they have a certain smell, a certain look and feel, a certain signature that can be traced back to one thing. It helps her to know when she runs into an enemy. A friend. Something new. And she can tell if it threatens her. When she's in a room with too many extraordinary creatures at one time, it overloads her senses, and she will need to leave. She does this often with large gatherings or flybys of hordes of dragons. And an "overload"? It means one of three things- she'll either pass out, temporarily lose her senses, or will have an extreme jolt of pain spiking through her system (on very rare occasions it has affected her spine, badly, knocking her out of the sky).
Strengths:
Secrecy || She does a many things wrong, but the one thing she can do right is keep a secret. She has still kept the one her father told her never to speak a word of- one he told her to keep long, long ago, when she was just a hatchling.
Agile Combat || Having a relatively small, lithe build means her tactics are better fit for speed and agility over brute strength. It means she needs to be more clever and less "big smash".
Keenness || It is always a good thing to have a sharp, intelligent sense of the world around you. Often she doesn't let on to how much she really is capable of, less because it's useless, and more because she doesn't want to be shunned for it (after everything, she is still a young adult. I'd say the equivalent of a 23 year old).
Weaknesses:
Patience || Listening to someone, waiting, letting them talk when you don't want to hear what they're saying? She is the model for being able to do none of those things. At least, not unless you're interesting enough.
Defiance || She has to fear someone to be able to listen to them when they tell her what to do. No one. Can tell her. What she is going to do. Not her rider, not her childhood best friend (theoretically, if she had one).
Strength || Can she take out a big enemy with smarts and speed? Sure. Can she knock them over, take them out in one swing, transport something heavy without a considerable effort? No.
Crush:
She wouldn't be willing to divulge that to everyone in the room, tsk. If she vibes, she vibes. You'll find out~
