I really hope she is unhappy with whom she gets paired with. Can I just say that? XD
Appearance:
Sleek, slender, and slim – Guāng Huánghòu is as pretty as a girl with a pocket full of roses. As dazzling as she is thorny, a true spectacle to witness. One that can leave wonder in the hearts of onlookers without her so much as trying. Though that doesn’t stop her from… flaunting this glamour of hers when given the opportunity. Her body proportions are nothing short of mystical, as though based within mythos itself. The measurement from the ground to her shoulder rounds off at a minuscule three feet, with impeccably short legs holding her elongated form upright. From her to the top of her head (excluding any horns or antlers) has been estimated to be around eight feet in total. Thus leaving her at a mere eleven feet high in total, marking her as one of the shortest dragons known to human and dragon kind. She is not likely to grow any larger. Her both length, on the other hand, exceeds this by a good margin. When completely stretched out, she can be recorded having been measured around forty seven feet long in total. Most of these units come strictly from her tail, a limb that is thought to be twenty-two feet in length. A fitting size given its utility. However, her body is still noodle-esque, being around fifteen feet. This causes her space between her legs to be rather great, but not to the point where she sags. Her neck and head make up the remaining ten feet.
If it wasn’t already apparent from her dimensions and mystical aspects, the elongated dragon is of the Chinese variant – being what most would (disrespectfully) call a “noodle with legs.” Said legs, as mentioned before, are shockingly short. They extend only two feet or so from her body, not even surpassing the height of a human. Despite this, they still have the stability within them to uphold her lengthy physique. They are fit with a good amount of muscle tone in order to sustain her body weight, as is her midsection to keep it in a straight-ish line. Such anatomy has granted the female a considerable amount of flexibility. It is nigh impossible to hit her whilst she flies, her body twisting and turning out of the way of most attacks. The paws that stretch forth from these legs are a mix of those belonging to reptiles and felines. Its center is a more rounded shape and thick like that of a cat, but does carry some reptilian aspects. Four toes extend from each of her four paws as well as a dew claw along her front legs. Each of these is a good bit longer than those of cat pads, having some of the length of reptilians but falling short of it. Sharp, short, and curved reptilian claws come from these toes. They are non-retractable as any reptile’s are but not dulled down from time spent walking. The second toe of her left front paw is noticeably lacking in one of these claws, but instead has one of a certain crystalline substance. Small cracks run through it, as though the replacement was damaged. There is little padding in this region with feline paw-pads being present (digital, carpel, and metacarpal but lacking in the dew claw padding) but are especially thin – providing a minimal boost to her stealth. Not that it helps any, though. Her tail is long and slender, holding the large majority of the muscles along her body. A simple flick of holds a significant amount of power, enough to send a small being flying and knocking the wind out of some dragons. Its width thins out gradually as one examines it, though the difference is negligible. Crystal-like feathers run down the female’s back, starting at the top of her neck and going all the way down to her tail, seemingly replacing the accumulation of fur most Chinese dragons have along their spines. The feathers are smaller in size, bunching up in order to give off this some effect. Their shape is like those found on the body of avians, specifically contour ones. They neither sit flat against her body nor stick upwards, being somewhere in the middle but leaning towards the flatter side. Those around her neck amassing across a marginally larger area than those elsewhere on her body, almost like a light mane. This “mane” is pretty underwhelming, just barely covering more of the sides of her neck before thinning out into a “line” along her spine. Their looser structuring causes them to jiggle whenever she moves her head. Her tail ends in a similar manner, but is much more noticeable – mimicking the “floof” others of her physique tend to possess. It spans around a good fourth of her tail and does not go beyond it but for a few short inches. Their texture is an odd mix of solid and fluffy, as though the feather were denser than usual. Blade-like formations of feathers protrude from the back of her front legs, their shape akin to flight feathers. These structures are lacking along her hind legs. Between the feathers and along her body, fur runs amuck. It coats her entire body in its soft texture, describable only as the purest of silk or velvet. It is on the thin side, built for more moderate weather instead of hot or cold. The fur thins out along her underbelly and legs. No scales are present on the female nor are any wings.
The light dragoness’ head is of a more narrow anatomy, unlike the general broadish form most Chinese dragons take. Its shape is more draconic in a sense, with some more wolfish aspects shining through here and there. Her snout in particular is closely attributed to that of a wolf’s though a good bit longer. The dip between snout and head follows the draconic aspect of her face, being noticeable but not prominent as that of a wolf’s. The top of her snout is considerably flat, not having the rounded shape that some canines and dragons have. In other words, it is level. At the tip of her snout, her face takes an almost 90 degree turn down towards her mouth. Her nostrils sit along the top-sides of this snout, right at its end. She does not have a prominent nose structure. Long whiskers extend from each side of her upper lip, near to where her nostrils are but just before them. They stretch backwards around four feet each and are tipped with the same crystal-like feathers seen along her body – their shape that of a bird’s tail feathers. Feathery “ears” sprout from the sides of her head, each measuring up to thirteen inches or so. They can move around just as any ear would, but do not actively hear. Her actual ears are like those of the common reptile – holes in the side of her head covered in thin extensions of their hide. They cannot be seen due to her fur. Two sets of antlers (like those of an elk) jut from the back of her head. Their pairing can be a bit difficult to decipher due to their placement. On each side, two antlers will sprout from the exact same root – one above the other. The two top antlers push upwards like those of most cervids, but particularly like those of bull elk. Though, they do so at a lesser angle than that of the animal. The bottom pair travels in a mostly straight line though do slant downwards at an almost inconspicuous degree. Both pairs curve upwards at their ends. Seven sharp points are etched out from the top antlers while five slightly duller ones stick from the bottom. All these antlers measure out to be around four to five feet in length. Jewelry adores these horns, acting as a type of earring, ring, or bracelet. Some wrap around the central section of her antlers, others around the base of her points, and a select few at the tips of these points. They are completely different from one another, every single one having their own significant meaning to best represent important moments within her life. Gemstones and feathers tend to be the centerpiece of these ornaments. Her teeth are those of a carnivore’s, being more canine in structure and carrying a smidge of an overbite. Her top fangs are almost too long to fit inside her mouth, their ends nearly peaking out into some instances. They are the first thing one will notice whenever she grins. A tongue of a serpent resides within this cage of teeth, something she sticks out from time to time. It cannot smell like its counterpart.
A coat of a siamese paints the dragon’s silky fur, its colors white, cream, and brown. Her points are that of light chocolate – covering her face, paws, lower legs, and tail. The chocolate fur of her legs and tail both fade into existence from the color that formulates the rest of her body. A near-white cream is this color, running along the sections in which the brown does not touch. Darker sections of cream line parts of her lower back, as though it were turning into an even lighter shade of chocolate. It is possible that this section will grow with time. A white diamond marking rests on the front of her chest, standing out quite prominently from the cream of her body. Rings of iridescent sheen run down all parts of her fur with some distance being in between each. They are of all different colors, appearing to create a rainbow pattern up and down her body. It starts out with a ring of red wrapping around the tip of her snout which gradually shifts into a purple at the dip between her head and snout. From this purple it fades back into red just before her horns, only to begin the pattern again afterwards – spreading out along the way and ending on a ring of red. Indigo is a part of this rainbow sheen. This iridescence can only be observed in strong sunlight on humid days, sparkling like crystals when the conditions are right. Though, not all at once. Her feathers take on the color of the fur around them, but lack in this iridescence. Instead, at the end at each and every one of these “crystalline” feathers is its own lustrous pattern. It wraps around the edges of these feathers, never spreading inwards, and is almost impossible to pick out. Unlike the rings, these do not shine different colors in immediate sunlight – just a soft white shimmer every so often. Rather, they only shine whenever she experiences intense emotions – their color matching what she is feeling. When unimaginably angry they will glow a bright red, but whilst prideful they will turn a royal purple. Her antlers are all pearlescent in appearance, but do fade into a soft and gleaming chocolate towards their ends. Her claws are a light gray hue, excluding her crystalline one which is clear and prismatic. Like any good siamese, her eyes are a lovely vivid blue.
The roars of this majestic beast are an interesting mix of soft and melodic, and rough and fiery. Six different vocalizations make up her cast of main calls. They are defined as such: broadcast, greetings, pleased, threaten, danger, and victory. The broadcast is a roar designed to act as a sort of announcement towards others, granting them the knowledge of her presence within the area. Her particular call for this “faction” is rather fitting. It comes off as the ringing of a glass harp, its pitches varying each and every time. A tune seems to go with it, personalized for her and not matching any one song known to dragon or man. It is nothing short of grandiose and head turning, gnawing almost desperately at the attention of others as though hungry for it. Her “greetings” is self explanatory – a call used to grant those around her a wordless “hello.” It is a crackling sound like that of a sparkler paired with the medium-toned notes of sing glass. Not one tune seems to be attached to this particular noise. “Pleased” is as close as one can get for a friendly call from this female. It is used whenever she is content with the one she is calling to. The higher pitched chimes of, well, windchimes are its basis. A wondrous sound on the ears, amplified by the heavy purring of a house cat – almost making it reverberate. Her “threaten” is one utilized to ward off potential threats from attack. It is a mix of a female mountain lion’s cry and the exploding of fireworks. A loud and intimidating sound, combining something eerie with one equally as heart-pounding. The “danger” call acts as a sort of alarm of peril nearby, acting as a call for backup or a notification that one should flee. Hers is similar to the high pitching “screams” of singing glass, ear piercing and hair raising. What can only be described as a multitude of sparklers and the distant pop of a singular firework can be heard behind it. This call can be heard from miles away. Finally, her “victory” call behaves in a way to essentially congratulate herself for besting or overcoming trials and fights she may face. It sounds like the rapid popping of fireworks overhead with a more generalized, high-pitched draconic roar underneath.
Guāng Huánghòu’s voice is not as easy as her overall appearance, coming off as an irritating noise to many around her. Its pitch is along the “higher” end of the spectrum, but does lean slightly towards the “medium.” It is smooth across her various utterances, contrary to the more grating sound most stereotypical “popular” girls can have. Some, but this alone, at least admit that it can be a pleasant thing to listen to. However, that is if her tone were different. It carries an air of superiority to it, consistently demeaning or putting down those around her – even if that was the furthest thing from her true intentions. It places itself above all others and is actually difficult to talk over, her volume almost having the natural tendency to rise over someone else when speaking in the same instance. This tone and habit only drops around those that she cares for. Still, it remains incredibly expressive! Particularly when dealing with more negative emotions – as though they rolled off her tongue and into each and every syllable she lays before another. This is the window into her soul.

She scoffs, an unbelieving expression on her face. “Uh, excuse me,” her words are a statement rather than a question as though outraged at the very circumstances, “but what right does one as… unsightly as you have interacting with someone of my caliber? Shoo. Shoo shoo. I have no time for your meaningless prattle.”
Abilities:
Though they won’t see it, a huge thanks goes ta my friends off the site. They suggested a good amount of details for a few of these abilities and I cannot thank them enough for it. *^*
Prismatic Body
Perhaps Guāng’s most recognizable and spectacular abilities. Prismatic Body is a power often mistaken for that of a crystal dragon, its basis seemingly having no ties to the light class at first glance. At will, she can turn sections of her body (usually one of her front legs) into what onlookers can only describe as pure glass or a glass-like substance. Its formation is not smooth, divided in sections of sharply cut shapes like that of glass figurines. Due to this particular structuring as well as its general makeup, she is completely unable to appear invisible – the “glass” being much too reflective to allow for any amount of stealth. Rather it is this reflective aspect that she uses in her favor, the tie to her class. It acts as a prism, dividing white light into colored light to blind foes for a few seconds if not up to a minute. These light beams are pretty accurate thanks to the mobility she has in these “glassified” areas. However, with enough energy, she can in fact transform her entire body into this transparent substance! This specific transformation is much more reflective than the other but lacks in its accuracy. To make up for this, its area of division is much larger and has extended periods of blindness – lasting around thirty seconds more than usual. Friendly fire is to be expected in this instance. This is the only instance in which her head will be made from this material. When coming out of a full body transformation, it is highly probable that she will be incapacitated for the remainder of the day from the sheer amount of energy it consumed.
Though there is a “slight” downside to this. The glassy substance is only durable after the area or body’s initial shift. It can withstand some rather hefty attacks for the short time it spans. This is merely to ensure she is not instantly shattered upon shifting. After this period (which lasts only fifteen seconds), it is just as easy to shatter as any other glass object would be. Even a human punch is enough to spur the creation of cracks within the area. Though it should be noted that only physical attacks will be able to cause any harm. Most breath attacks will have no impact on crystalline area but may make it easier to shatter depending on its type. Fire based attacks are the least effective against these areas. Those with psychological effects will still affect her in that manner no matter what. If a portion of her glass-turned body does end up shattered, the asialent will be left with some nasty broken shards in the limb used to break it – so long as it is not protected by durable scales or armor. These shards of broken glass are hot to the touch and will continuously burn those they find themselves embedded within. Thankfully for those inflicted with them, they are as easy to remove as the real stuff. But all are advised not to touch them with their bare hands lest they be burned. If her head is smashed or cut off from the rest of her while fully crystalized, there is no coming back.
Refractive Reconstruction
A slight counter to the downside of her prismatic formation. By condensing the light around the area of a missing limb, the female can temporarily form crystalline limbs – made from the same substance as her glass form. These limbs are just as weak as their counterparts and are easy to shatter. The light used to form it must come from a natural force such as the sun or natural fire, and she must be in direct contact with it. Otherwise, it will not work. Though, it is merely hindered on cloudy days instead of completely halted. The length of time it takes for this limb to fully reform hinges on the size of the missing section – with larger areas naturally taking longer to regrow than others. If not becoming impossible to fully form in the first place. Exerting more than average pressure on these crystalized prosthetic limbs will cause them to crack if not shatter, rendering them virtually useless in battle. However, they still apply the burning shards upon breaking just like her other ability. Those that come from a prosthetic can be removed in the same manner, but will also fade away with time. Reforming these prosthetics after breakage is not possible until twenty-four hours have passed. Even still, doing so repeatedly will result in greater and greater taxes from her energy reserves. If a physical-based breath attack is applied to the area she wishes to replace, she will be unable to do this. This ability cannot be used to close open wounds (like those from swords or dragon bites) that she may possess unless she enters the Anti-Void…
The Anti-Void
Her own “little” pocket dimension like her brother’s own. The siamese dragon’s connection to the Anti-Void works in a similar manner to Akuryō with his void, but does lack in some of its properties. The connection to this “other world” is a strain to create, taking a lot from her whenever a “doorway” is opened. It is an emergency-only ability, a means to provide shelter for herself and the rare soul she deems worthy of protection. Its atmosphere vastly contracts that of the Void – an expanse of pure white seemingly without end. It is enough to drive one mad including the dragoness herself. She, like her brother, runs the risk of losing herself to the dimension if she resides within it for too long. As the name would suggest, this world of hers is not empty – once more contrary to the void. It is filled with particles of light which give it its plain white appearance. While it is unknown how exactly this light even exists within this region, it does appear to act as natural light would and can be used by her in such a manner. However, it is not as effective as that from the sun or sources of fire. Her healing ability is noticeably slower than it is outside of this dimension, though she does gain the capability to close her own wounds – something she does not have access to on the outside. These close wounds act just like her false limbs and are temporary, being coated in the familiar crystalline substance of her glass. It is strictly used to prevent bleeding of any sort and will steadily fade away when she exits the Anti-Void. She is incapable of healing naturally in this world of white, with her healing abilities being the only means she has to do so. Similar to her twin’s Void, none can enter without the female’s permission – Akuryō himself being the only being with eternal sanction to enter and exit at will. Those who try will be met with either a burning or freezing sensation, depending on the time of day outside, due to the sheer amount of light particles radiating through the realm. Those more resilient to these countermeasures (such as fire or ice dragons) or physical ones in general may find it possible to successfully invade the Anti-Void. If one cannot enter, they are still given an opportunity to… “cause some trouble” for the female upon using this ability. Following the subsequent closure of the portal, a small amount of “residue” will be left in the exact spot where she entered. It will typically be in the form of a soft glow to the surrounding area – its hue reliant on the time of day (yellow for day, light blue for night). This residue not only marks her area of entrance into the Anti-Void but her eventual departure from it. In order to re-enter the proper world, she must exit the way she came. This gives possible enemies a chance to set traps or ambushes outside of these areas for when she returns and discourages her from opening doorways in front of untrusted beings. One other aspect of note for this realm: it would appear that the dark dragon known as her twin has an accelerated healing rate in this area. However, his healing process will proceed to leave patches of darkness throughout the Anti-Void as though he were absorbing the light himself. This diminishing of light greatly hinders her own healing abilities while within the pocket world as well as the power of another one of her abilities. Finally, it is known for certain that she cannot banish anyone to the Anti-Void if she finds herself fed up with their presence. Instead, she can only send them there if she somehow holds the desire to protect them. No residue is left behind in this instance but she must still be wary. Those sent to this place still run the risk of losing themselves to the Anti-Void…
This ability cannot be used if her brother has already entered his own Void.
Celestial Beam
One of two main breath abilities this female possesses – formed of pure light. Its effects are altered based on the time of day in which it is used. Day versus night, each powered by their respective “sky-lights.” As such, this power has been divided accordingly.
Heliacal Beam
The breath of the sun. This variant of this breath acts almost as a sort of fire, formed from molten magnesium and expelled at high speeds. It is a bright whitish-yellow in coloration, with “flakes” of these colors occasionally flaking off the main stream when in use. As is standard, she cannot use this breath in complete darkness – only in the wake of the sun does it function. Touching this light will result in immeasurable amounts of pain, their source being the nasty burns it creates. The hotter her body is, the stronger this blast will be. However, this strengthened blast will cause damage to herself like her brother’s fire breath. Her throat and mouth will become raw if not develop burns themselves. Fire dragons are resilient to this breath and could even draw strength from it.
Empyreal Beam
The other side of the coin. The dragoness’ Empyreal Beam is the form of this breath utilized underneath the stars and the moon. More specifically the moon. The stream that makes up this ability is almost white in color, with the slight tinge of blue hanging around its edges. Its “flames” are adjacent to those of a sparkler. Coming into contact with this strand will also cause burns, but not in the manner one would believe. The burns created will be freezing cold rather than red hot, though they still (naturally) burn. The breath itself works in a similar fashion, leaving the victim with a burning-cold sensation along the contact area. The phase of the moon does have some effect on this frigid blast, though it is only based on the amount given and not the direction of the phases. New moons do not prevent her from using this ability as the light of the stars remains – however dim. Like before though in reverse, this breath’s power increases the colder she is. The harm drawbacks remain as well, causing frostbite instead of turning her mouth and throat raw. If she is not careful she may very well freeze her own throat shut. Ice and lunar dragons resist this breath.
Binding Luminosity
Otherwise known as “Detention Beam,” this power is Chiaki’s secondary breath attack. Or third depending on how one looks at it. This particular ability is used for less offensive purposes but is still not solely grounded in defensive measures. This breath starts out as a small stream of light that spirals out from her mouth in the direction it is shot in, its hue a near white blue with some darker-but-still-light tones around its edges. The spiral will grow in size the further it gets from her, expanding outwards a great distance. From here, the spiral will wrap around the nearest living entity in its path – following it like iron to a magnet. She cannot choose who this is. This breath will never physically touch the being it tracks down. Instead it merely surrounds it, forming a sort of light-based cage that she can manipulate at will. The ensnared will only come into contact with the spiral unless they touch it themselves, resulting in more minor burns than her other one. It is mostly used to detain threats but it can just as equally be utilized for interrogation tactics. The composition of this stream of light is highly susceptible to dark and lunar based attacks, both of which destroy it with ease. The effects of this breath are temporary, so the second one becomes ensnared within this spiral, she is immediately set on a timer. Though it does last longer the more light is present. Conversely it doesn’t last very long if performed in complete darkness. Despite this, this beam can be used at any time. Its power is drawn from her own Anti-Void, giving her a hefty supply of light to use (if it has not been drained that day). After its usage, however, a dark spot will be left in its wake – lessening the light within. She cannot ensnare herself.
Light Ascension
The manner in which this female can fly. Huánghòu has the capability to utilize light in order to propel herself through the air, almost as though she were walking on it or swimming through it. Either motion/action is sufficient in getting her to move through the skies. Extensions of light – similar to what many call God rays – extend off various sections of her body while in flight. They can show in a number of ways, so long as that portion of the body makes some sort of walking, running, or swimming motion or anything along those lines. She can hover in the air using this ability as well. If no light is present, she cannot fly.
Light Whip
A whip of golden light extending from the female’s tail is the final ability within her arsenal. By gradually morphing the light around her tail, she can form this extension – extending and contracting it as she pleases. Though the whip draws its power from light sources, it will actively snuff out its source unlike her other capabilities. Campfires, lanterns, torches, and the like will all be diminished of their light in order to form this whip – their light stolen by the own of the whip. As such, it works best when in contrast to environmental light. In other words, in darkness. This elongated strand of light is solid like any of its human-made counterparts, and leaves behind particles of light whenever flicked or cracked. Burning lashes will sprout on those that are hit by this strand of light. Its sensation does not change based on the time of day. Instead, it depends on the level of light around her. These burns are much more painful when in shade or shadow, but are nearly vanquished in direct sunlight. In fact, the whip is effectively useless during the day. The sun – which would naturally be its source – has turned out to be too powerful and distant to be snuffed out. It also overpowers all earthly light sources with ease, preventing any usage from the whip. As such, it has become an effective weapon against dark dragons. As like many of her other abilities, fire dragons are more resilient to this than others.
This ability was actually uncovered not terribly long ago – a decade or two from what she can recall. She founded it while messing around within her brother’s Void, attempting to find some way to use her light within darkness. Overtime, she steadily trained herself to form this whip from whatever light source she brought into the Void – taking all its power and putting it out. It was actually during these experiments that she formed her own Anti-Void.

- Outward appearance is all she cares about when it comes to character. If one is not beautiful enough, she will deem them unworthy of her attention. Take it as a compliment if she goes to critique one’s appearance. It means that you’re just “pretty” enough for her consideration.
Yes, I based her off of my own cats. They're too cute not ta make a dragon of... I may or may not make another of them in the future. :p
I’ve really been enjoying Raising Dragons thus far! Can’t wait ta see where it goes. *^*
