Appearance

Dressed in natural browns and tans of the forest, Nirvana stands at about 28 inches at the shoulder and she weighs near 80 pounds. Her frame is thinner rather than thick and muscular, which gives her an agile figure. Her lean limbs are enough to propel her through the forest at high speeds while also being lithe enough to make sharp turns.
Her fur is mostly black and grey near the spine, base of the tail, shoulders, and head. White tufts of fur are sprinkled along her shoulders and haunches, where tan fur begins to cover her frame. White, creamy fur grows in at her belly and throat.

Personality
Nirvana is very independent and can be considered a free thinker. She doesn't like being told what to do all the time, and will almost always think things through until she is satisfied. And when she isn't satisfied? You will know about it. Unafraid to raise her voice, she lets her opinions be known. Not in a bratty kind of way, though. She is quite witty and smart and can even be funny, too. So when she snaps back at you, she will likely use her wit to mock you as well. She doesn't mean any harm by it, of course. But hey, if you're offering a stupid idea, isn't it her job to let you know how stupid it is? And to poke fun at it? Poking fun and making jokes makes her criticism go over smoother, or at least, that is what she hopes.

As said before, she has an independent streak. Nirvana has the attitude of "if you want it done right, you gotta do it yourself". Thus, she can be found roaming around alone quite frequently. While this can be seen as dumb or maybe even aloof, she isn't helpless. Her quick thinking allows her to maneuver her way out of situations usually. And if it doesn't? Well she isn't going to go down without a fight. You can bet that she will do her hardest to bring you down with her.

Now, Nirvana can be perceived as a little brash, which she is, but she isn't particularly mean. She doesn't try to hurt your feelings, but your feelings may just be collateral damage. And if that is the case, she is probably sorry about it, though she finds it hard to apologize when it is her fault. She has a decently sized ego and pride, and she doesn't like being knocked down a peg.

Pretty mischeivious and mysterious, she doesn't like letting others know too much about her or what her next moves are. Some may think that it's a safety thing, always being two steps ahead. But really, she likes to be considered mysterious or tricky. Being well read isn't interesting to her. Others who are open books seem boring to her, almost. Things that allure her and attract her are mysteries and things that don't quite make sense. The quieter ones who sit back before speaking and seem to have some kind of glint in their eye are the ones whom she finds most appealing. Thus, she mirrors that. Getting to know her might be difficult, but it would probably be the opposite of boring or easy.

Nirvana also sticks to herself most of the time. Some would be shocked to learn she runs with a pack, as she is almost always seen alone. It isn't that she doesn't like company, but maybe she hasn't found the right kind yet. She has had thoughts about leaving her pack and striking out on her own. It isn't that she doesn't want to share her life with someone, it is just that she hasn't really found anyone worth it yet. Once she becomes invested though, she will be forever by their side.

Oddmund is a fairly large timber wolf, reaching 32 inches at the shoulder and weighing in at about 175 pounds. He is well-suited for the winter, being covered nose to tail in thick, reddish-brown fur. However, he does tend to sink a little more in the snow than his peers due to his weight, reducing his speed. His coat is especially dense around his neck and shoulders, offering a moderate amount of protection, be it from the elements or other predators. In water, his fur makes swimming difficult, but given enough time, he can usually make his way out. Underneath all the fur is a decent amount of muscle but nothing special. He can hold his own in combat but it is uncommon for him to completely dominate. Similarly, his legs, which can best be described as sturdy, provide neither exceptional power nor speed. His true strength lies in endurance as he can typically outlast others and close in as his opponent's otherwise superior strength or speed wanes. Oddmund doesn't lose his footing easily. Despite his size, he is well-balanced and can usually redirect his weight to work for him.

While his coat is primarily a reddish-brown, it darkens around the face and down the back. In these areas, his fur appears as a blend of dark grays and reds, complementing his orange eyes. On his sides, his fur lightens up, presenting more of a soft red hue until it reaches his underbelly which is almost white. His fluffy tail takes after the light red on his sides and ends with an almost black tip. It is a bit short for his size, but keeps his nose warm just fine.

Oddmund conducts himself with a strange code of honor. He believes everyone should pull their own weight and seek to better themselves. The result is he can appear indifferent when watching someone struggle with what he views as their own personal battle for them and them alone to overcome. However, he also believes that it is his responsibility to look out for the others and will intervene if he believes it necessary. That said, he's not much of a leader. He'll do what's asked of him and not much else. You'll be hard-pressed to find him bossing around someone else as he can be quite firm on what is his responsibility and what is someone else's problem. Often he comes across as lazy, but he'll never leave something unfinished. He'll get the job done, but that's about the beginning and end of it.

Oddmund isn't an adventurous type. He doesn't tend to seek things out, preferring to deal with things as they comes to him. He spends most of his time watching others and making the occasional note but generally minding his own business. Although he is not against forming bonds with those around him, they have to seek him out first as he likes to keep his nose out of where it doesn't belong. He can come across as fairly oafish, but to call him stupid would be misguided. While he's not planning five steps ahead, he not exactly lagging behind either. Rather, Oddmund lives in the now, weighing his options by the most direct consequences he can foresee. This can leave him susceptible to well-thought out trickery, though he's not entirely foolish as to fall for basic traps. He does not hold everyone accountable to his specific code of honor but finds it frustrating dealing with those that have none. Wolves that are willing to stoop to scummy tactics and ditch those they are supposed to hold close are especially irritating for him to deal with.

However, Oddmund's not one for holding grudges. He bears thick skin that can withstand some of the heaviest insults levied against him. Sometimes, this can be seen as a form of betrayal as he doesn't seek revenge for insults directed towards close one. Nonetheless, he will stick with his decision to not act unless he perceives a genuine threat. Even then, Oddmund typical steers clear of confrontation. He is not afraid of bringing up the topic directly but will refrain from judgment or accusatory remarks, simply stating what he sees and looking to resolve the issue. When reason is not an option, he'll stand his ground and try to end things in a timely manner. Beyond that, he'll usually let things slide so long as they don't show signs of further escalation. Though he won't meticulously orchestrate someone's long-term downfall, don't expect any favors from him in the near future either.
