Name: Amode Sunstone ("AM-muh-dee", but some call her Ami for short.)

Appearance: Amode is quite the beautiful creature, and takes great pride in her appearance. She stands at 5'1, so average height, with a long-legged, athletic and slender build. She weighs just over 100 pounds, and moves as quickly and lightly as a songbird. Her skin is fair - Amode boasts an ivory complexion with few freckles or scars to speak of. She has long, wavy midnight-blue hair with subtle indigo and purple highlights that run together like hues in the night sky. It is shiny and well-cared for, reaching all the way down to her lower back, and it is usually pulled back into some new experimental half-up half-down style. Her eyes are a striking indigo blue in color. Her clothing preference is fashionable and elegant, while still being comfortable and non-restrictive. She prioritizes movement, being quite an active creature - though occasionally beauty wins over function. Flowy skirts and light, ruffle-y blouses are her go-to clothing style, but corsets and fancy gowns are definitely on her radar. She hates being seen messy or disheveled, and will always make sure she looks nice before going out into the public eye.

Personality: Amode likes to come across/think of herself as elegant, beautiful, mysterious and sophisticated. And she generally succeeds - most who meet her find her sociable, charismatic, and full of energy, as well as highly creative and expressive. She is quite emotionally intelligent, able to derive motivations and opinions from subtle body language. Despite her social skills, she still tends towards introversion and enjoys being alone with her thoughts and ideas. She has an eye for beauty, art and potential, both in nature and in the people around her. It seems she is constantly searching for inspiration from the beauty around her. She has grown far more self-confident than she used to be, now that she isn't under the influence of her all-too-controlling family. And she expresses ideas and emotions much more freely now.

Amode can be rather tempermental, self-centered, overly-sensitive and even cold-hearted at times, and hates being told what to do. She can be unbearably vain and diva-esque, even whiny, especially when stressed. And she lacks the maturity that can only be gained through age. She can be quite fiery and sarcastic if she doesn't agree with your authority over her, and she is not all pretty wings and passive creativity. Wing Type: Clear. The most common wing type unfortunately, but Amode considers her wings quite beautiful. They are on the large side, narrow and slender, built for speed and agility. They are vividly iridescent, glinting with every color of purple imaginable in the sunlight. She considers them one of her most attractive features, and maintains them religiously.

Specific Power: Air manipulation! She can harness the breeze to do everything from flying faster to making things float, to even changing the weather if she tries hard enough. She has come to appreciate and even take pride in her powers, though some find them "insubstantial" or silly.

Family?: She comes from a line of powerful, logical and stable earth-manipulating fairies. She is a bit of a black sheep in both personality and magical ability. She has distanced herself from her parents, but she has two older sisters who she keeps in touch with.

Backstory: As I said she didn't really fit in with her family. And although they were rarely abusive or cruel, they were quite strict and rule-oriented. She has since gone off on her own and is much happier living by herself, with no one telling her she is acting foolish or irrational. Leaving to make her own way was the best decision she ever made.

Other: She might take an interest in Beatrice. Especially if she can bring Amode some pretty wooden carvings!
