Poinsettia sports a classic Mexican wolf coat, with a beige base and the Lobo's signature black back and white shoulder marking. The tip of Poinsettia's tail is darker than the rest of her. They have patches of russet on their pelt, especially on their face. Poinsettia's lower half fades into cream, as does her muzzle. Their chin is a darker cream. They have a dark marking around her eyes.
Poinsettia's eyes are a dark reddish-brown, keeping her palette rather brownscale. Their skin is a similar brown to their eyes.
They are on the tall side for a Mexican wolf, coming in at 30" tall. Being only newly dispersed from their home pack, Poinsettia hasn't built up any of the stereotypical scruff and scars as a wolf that lived on their own longer than her would've.

At her core, Poinsettia is a kind soul. They'd easily put others before themself, to an unhealthy degree. Maybe, then, it would seem a bit strange that they'd leave their pack to go and provide for themself; but Poinsettia liked the idea of leading her own pack and getting to provide for their mate and pups.
Poinsettia is very happy where they are. They don't like the loneliness, but getting to explore the desert and meet new wolves is exciting. Sleeping in a new place every day is her favourite thing about it. They like to get comfortable and stare up to the stars for a while before they fall asleep. She isn't sure what it is about them- but it makes them feel like there is something, up there, watching out for her. The cold desert nights, nobody with her but the stars... it feels a lot like life. She thinks that's what she's looking for. It very nearly makes Poinsettia doubting starting a pack when it could just be her, and the stars, forever.
As much as that is true, Poinsettia really does love meeting new wolves, and coyotes... sometimes. Dispersiones are exciting to talk to, sometimes, they have come from even outside of the territories near her home. It is absolutely riveting to hear about what life means to other creatures.
Poinsettia is quite playful, with all creatures. She tries her best to play with everything she meets, whether it be bird or snake. It's upsetting when something decides to run away from her, when they're only trying to be nice. Those are the ones she eats.
