Known Name:

Sylvie

Meaning “From The Forest”

Real Name:

Botanophobia

Meaning “Fear of Plants”

Age:

4 Years

Gender:

Female

Aroma:

Before

A noteworthy piece of information for this gal. As one would expect, she coated in numerous perfumes of plant-based origin. Pine, leaves, and an accumulation of different flower-based scents (all of which are pleasant). However, she is best known for the scent of lavender which overrides most of the other scents.

After

The lavender scent remains, but is now coupled with the aroma of ivy and strong flower-based fragrances (which remain pleasant).

Sylvie is quite far down the small side of the wolf spectrum, standing around a mere twenty six inches in height. She is towered by most fully grown wolves – much to her dismay – but that doesn’t make her any less of a menace than them. Her weight backs up this petite stature, only racking up to 123 pounds. Her build is what one would consider to be lean. It is not made for all out brawls, but it can pack a punch if need be. Though, its best asset is its focus on speed and agility. As such, most of her muscles reside around her legs and chest. But they especially form around her hind legs. Due to the amount of muscle she possesses there, she can propel herself forward at high speeds in a matter of seconds and jump rather high into the air. The muscles allow her to easily maneuver around objects as well by providing power to the “push” of her stride. Her coat is heavy with no area lacking in fur density, causing it to be rather troublesome in the warmer parts of the year – with her tail is especially bushy. If she were any smaller, she could honestly pass for a large arctic fox with how fluffy it is. Her cheeks are also noticeably thicker than the rest of hide for some reason, but not to the degree of her tail. Long and slightly sharp claws protrude from her paws – arguably designed for dealing damage and gaining traction on the ground, but are quite handy for digging up numerous types of roots. Some whiskers can be seen sprouting from her upper jaw, medium in length and seemingly thick. Though, they do not serve much of a purpose.

The herbalist’s coat is a simplistic one, being basically nothing but a congregation of a single color. Pristine white is what her fur has decided to call its own. Its shade mimics that white petaled flowers, with dahlia’s being what it is most attributed to. The only noticeable shift in the shade of this white can be found on her tail tip, where the fur becomes a bit creamer than other areas along her body. But besides this, there are no patterns or changes to the white of her coat. Due to its bright coloration, her fur gets constantly muddied. This leads her to having to constantly clean herself to preserve its pristine condition. Some black dots can be found around her lips – right where her equally as black whiskers reside. These dots only form exactly where a whisker protrudes from. Her nose is also pitch black in color and is not as shiny as those of others. As are her gums, minus the “shiny” part. Her teeth are (sadly) yellowish in coloration, mainly due to the plants she works with on a daily basis. Those long claws of hers take on a light and dull shade of tan, almost like the shade of dust. Her eyes are a rich shade of brown and are very expressive. Just a glance into them – even to the most oblivious of souls – can tell one exactly how she is feeling in that moment.

Seeing as she is a healer and not a fighter or hunter, this floral-based canine has not accumulated a great number of scars. She truthfully only has two prominent ones. A nick in her left ear is the first one is bound to spy. It is located along the bottom inner side of her ear. Another is a bite mark along the scruff of her neck. A semi accidental mark that one is, but a scar nonetheless. Besides scars, a large amount of accessories decorate her pretty but bleak fur. Flowers and pretty green leaves are stashed in a multitude of places along her heavily furred body – of all different colors and species. Her personal favorites include a lavender, bluebell, and some ivy. The ivy is likely the most noticeable of the bunch. While its twine is short, it stands out greatly against the white of her fur. It wraps around her neck in a single loop. Almost like those fancy scarves humans wear. A bluebell is stuck around the tip of her tail. However, it appears to be growing a tad old and will have to be replaced soon. Finally, the lavender. Probably her favorite accessory. She entangled its stem into the fur along her right shoulder and can be seen constantly shifting it around to ensure that she does not lose it.

The icy female’s voice is an odd mix of sweet and sour elements. Typically, it is as sweet as honey – simply changing its quantity of “sweetness” depending on her emotion. This sound can be alluring to some… if not for her motherly yet stuck up tone. Especially the stuck up tone. However, at times of immense anger, her choice changes from honey to the sour tang of lemons. It is not necessarily an ear grinding sound, but it can easily put most in their place with its sharp and curt tone. The pitch of her voice is more on the higher side, but is nowhere near the squeaky side of things. Though, it is still hard to enjoy unless you truly get to know her – where she’ll drop the usual stuck up tone for something more friendly. But what most do not know is that she has a great singing voice, being able to hit a large quantity of high notes with such experience that it is hard not to listen. If one even manages to catch her singing in the first place, that is, as she only does it when completely alone.

Personality:

Before

Posh || Conspicuous || Bit Of A Neat Freak || Snappy || Argumentative || Talkative || Gossiper || Knowledgeable || Icy Demeanor || Slightly Apathetic || Hardworker || Attentive || Orderly || Independent

The female scoffs, leaving her head up to the side from its downward position of inspection. Her deep brown eyes roll in their sockets, as though she couldn’t have been more unimpressed. “Another injury? Please! You must try and get yourself hurt at this point.”

Sylvie is no doubt a posh sort of character. She, for one, is most certainly elegant. Her movements are graceful – pleasingly so – and flowy. At times, it almost appears as though she’s floating instead of touching the ground beneath her paws. It is due to this that many consider to be a dove in a wolf’s body. However, her mannerisms make her more of a white rose than anything else. Born from this trait is her rather conspicuous nature. “Honestly, I was just born to stand out,” is what she commonly says to herself and others. To an extent, she is arguably right. That luxurious white coat of hers makes her stand out a lot from the backdrop of the pack’s home. As well as the various plant life she has stuck into her coat – which may as well be the wolf version of a “fashion statement.” Both attract a good amount of attention to her, simply for her beauty. Though she is truthfully neither here nor there on the prospect of gaining such attention. It really just depends on the day how she reacts to wolves granting her their time, ears, and eyes. Mainly eyes. But one thing is for sure, she must always be well kept. Not for sake of attention, but for her own comfort and well being. Allowing others to see her with even a single spec of dirt on her pristine coat would be one of the worst crimes known to canines. Consistent grooming is a must for her, lest her appearance and, thus, beauty be absolutely demolished. Which most certainly cannot be permitted.

Pretty on the outside, prickly on the inside. Or is it prickly on both sides? Either way, the herbalist is by no means as gentle or soft as her overall appearance. She can be quite the opposite, actually – being incredibly snappy and irritable. It doesn’t take much to set off her annoyance. A wolf breathing too loudly for her liking, another constantly getting injured, pups whining about the smallest of cuts, and much, much more. When someone strikes the right cord, best be prepared to take a jump back. While she will never get physically violent (unless someone else attacks first), she will absolutely get right into your face and tell you off with impeccably sharp words. She doesn’t care if what she says is a touchy subject or not. She basically has no filter upon reaching this stage, and she’ll rarely ever feel sorry for what she has said. And don’t bother arguing against her or scolding her for those choice of words. It won’t do anything for either party. She is argumentative, after all. She’d just be spurred on, and will not drop the discussion until many hours following its founding. She’ll almost always stand by her position until the very end, with there having been only one occasion in which she shifted her stance. But that took nearly five hours of conversation… Best to just let it slide, unless it’s way out of line.

Speaking of conversations, outside of arguments and snappy comments, this female is pretty talkative. In fact, it’s one of her favorite pastimes! Oh how she adores the aspect and action of talking with friends for hours on end, complaining about certain pack members, joking about annoyances and other trivial matters, and even saying something as simple as how their day has been thus far. No one is quite sure how long she can actually talk, for the only times she stops is when her companion has to go or she gets pulled away for her own duties. However, her absolute favorite subject matter to prattle about has to be gossip. Any kind of gossip, but especially that which gives her dir- er… information on another. It helps her with dealing with them whilst they’re injured, of course. Yeah! That’s why she gossips! Totally… Anyway, she finds listening to all the rumors and known events (particularly those going on between two or more wolves) to be rather pleasing to the ears. And she will, without a doubt, spread this information to her other buddies. No matter if it is true or false. It makes for good conversation, after all. So why not utilize it? (“No, I am not spreading rumors to get back at her. I’m just relaying information that I have gathered from others.”)

Botanophobia is considered to be very knowledge on a long list of subjects. She knows a lot about the world around her – both in terms of ongoing events in the pack due to gossip and on what lies within the pack’s territory. She is well informed on wolf “biology” and “anatomy” (of the closest thing wild wolves have to that), knowing exactly what the issue is based upon symptoms, expressions, and area alone. But, most importantly, she has a lot of knowledge on the various herbs of the territory. Their uses, locations, duration after picking, and preferred season can all be listed off the top of her head in a matter of seconds… which is something she does often, just to flaunt her intelligence on the matter. She has studied long and hard to ensure that she knows everything she can about every plant in the area. If one wants to know what something plant based is, it’s best to come to her. She’ll gladly inform the ill-informed… in the most condescending yet somehow chirpy way ever.

The snow-covered female is absolutely as icy as her very coat. She is almost unapproachable due to her near-hostile nature. She is not affectionate (generally), and always scoffs at any public displays of it… even if she’d do the exact same thing at times and expects others to not care. She totally won’t ensure that they don’t with a snarl. No, not at all. She can also be this way towards some of her own friends. Strictly on the rough days, though. She is also rather apathetic. An odd trait for a healer of all titles – as one would expect her whole thing to be wishing to help others – but one that comes with some odd benefits. In her eyes, anyway. Such lack of interest or general caring allows her to focus on the real issues going on, rather than a ranting pack member. Or it grants her the ability to flat out ignore the whines of a patient (to an extent) and instead focus on dealing with their injuries. She sees that as quite the plus, even if others don’t see it that way. (“Tsk. They just don’t know what they’re talking about.”)

Sylvie is nothing short of a hard worker. She always puts her duties first and foremost, above nearly all else. Her actions are diligent, showing great care and consideration in what she’s doing. She takes her time, unless the situation requires urgency, and will not allow anything to get in the way of her task. Besides, possibly, teaching her apprentice. Though, she’ll typically just do the task then explain her actions afterwards. During her work – especially when caring for wounds or ailments – she is known to be incredibly attentive. Her attention cannot be broken by most actions or words and her movements will not pause for most anything. She’s even attentive of her patient’s discomfort… which she rarely takes into account unless the specific injury requires it. She is attentive outside of her work as well, constantly keeping an eye out for danger, small strings of gossip (naturally), and actions of others. It is easier to break her out of this type of studying than the others, but it is still a bit difficult. However, she most certainly gets snappy to those that do – with the exception of loved ones and close friends.

Help is not something this female takes… in general, actually. She despises any form of assistance, seeing as an outright insult rather than something coming from one’s generosity. Accepting such insolence (or what she would describe as such) would surely prove that function on her own. But she absolutely can! So what if the task needs two sets of paws? She can do it on her own! No doubt about it. Honestly, offering aid to this gal is like talking to a brick wall. She’ll flat out ignore the kind soul, if not outright snap at them and chase them out of her den or keep walking forward so they are forced to back up. The only small exception she would ever make would be for her apprentice, solely for the purpose of teaching. Nothing more and nothing less.

After

Eerily Calm || Level Headed || Seemingly Emotionless || Near Silent || Patient || Cleanly || Gradually Growing Empathy || Blossoming Kindness || Hardworker || Wavering Focus || Currently Disorganized

The head moves in an eerie fashion, slowly bending down to meet your gaze. The creaking of woods and rustling of leaves can be heard through the movements, as though the woods themselves strain as her body moves. The foliage along the base her tail shudders in anticipation. Of what? Only she would know. Flowers meet your eyes in place of what should have been inside her sockets – small and pink, but their species indecipherable. It was as though they were something entirely new. They rustle as you shift slightly, as though they were truly eyes. The pink of the petals bores into your eyes as her smile grows even wider than its usual size. “I… See… You~”

The biggest change the flash had on Sylvie would have to be her personality. Yes, she became a multitude of greens. Yes, she now has plants growing out of her eyes. Yes, of course she has powers… but underneath all that, her body is still… mostly the same. Her mind, however? It was skewed beyond imagining. And it’s quite noticeable, too. What was once a rather feisty and mal tempered female has now become almost a shell of her former self. She is calm. Eerily so. All her past grievances and pet peeves are all seemingly void now, whipped away by the wind and vines now coating her body. Insults are ignored. Pestering barely gets one an ear flick. And yelling just goes in one ear and out the other. Even physical attacks are not enough to phase her. All she’ll do is slowly turn her head… “meet” your eyes… tilt her head… and just grin. She won’t growl, snap back, or anything of the sort. She doesn’t even react to the pain it likely causes, nor does she express any emotion outwardly. In any circumstance! No joy, no sorrow, no hate, no anger. Nothing. It’s honestly… unsettling. It’s almost as though she’s no longer in control of her own body…

A near silent atmosphere now trails after the small healer, haunting and unnerving in its own right. It’s a stark contrast between the wolf she once was and what she has become. As though she is a shell of her former self. This shift, unlike others, happens instantaneously after the flash. Almost as though it were a byproduct of it. There is much speculation behind the reason why she no longer speaks. Some think it to be connected to her eerie calm state. Others just chalk it up to the obvious mental changes that have occurred. The rest claim that it is the plants that prevent her from communicating, constricting her vocal cords or some of their throat. But there is no telling why. Of course, there are theories about it, but none are easy or light on the ears or mind. It will take time for her to ever speak again. Many months, if not years, will pass before she can even ponder the idea. For now, all she can muster are the air wheezes that one may hear whenever she breathes.

Patience was not really a virtue that was known to be held by this wolf in the past. Honestly, she was anything but patient! Though, not entirely impatient. She would get on other’s cases if they did not meet certain time requirements that she never hinted towards and harp about how they are “as slow as molasses” or how “even a snail could outpace you” or something along those lines. Now, however, patience will be a forming trait of this female. It’s presence will not be felt directly after the flash – differing from all the other noted changes thus far. Rather, it is to be developed over time. Albeit a short period of time, seeing as how her now hindered sight has denied her the ability to move around properly on her own. Let alone function how she used to. She will be feeling very agitated with her own body for some time after the flash. But patience will grow from acknowledgement that she will eventually get used to the all-but-new life. Even if it is a large roadblock within her life.

One thing that hasn’t changed about this female is her cleanly nature. Despite the numerous plants growing from her hide (and lack of sight), she has still managed to keep a pristine like appearance. Her fur is well kept and free of most dirt. Her plants are relinquished of any loose or dead leaves or even petals. Any scar-coated-vines are always well dressed and treated. She is also careful to avoid dirty situations where she can. If she can even notice them, that is. More than likely, it’ll be the one guiding her around that makes her avoid the muck. Still, she… appreciates it.

Another gradual shift in Botanophobia will be faced by some growing empathy. Over time, she will turn against her uncaring ways and become one of the most caring beings ever to walk these lands. Somehow, some way, that icy heart of her will lose its outer shell. Perhaps it will be the gentle patience and compassion of another despite having to deal with her previously harsh ways? Maybe she has been humbled by her own founding issues? That is uncertain. A blossoming kindness will also form from the interactions she has after the flash. Especially those that are of kindness itself. She, unlike her building compassion, will not be the kindest wolf. She will still have her harsh moments (a habit from before). But she will be nowhere as snappy as before. Not like she has the voice to be so anyway-

It still remains true that Sylvie is an incredibly hard worker. She, as always, takes her job very seriously and basically puts it at the forefront of her life. However, thanks to the… changes she is now forced to face, there arise quite a few… complications to put it lightly. First and foremost, her attentiveness is all but gone at the start. Between struggling to find her away around basically anything, the thunderous whispering of all the plants makes it hard to focus on anything. Let along her own thoughts, which she can barely decipher from all the voices tingling the confines of her mind. This causes her to lose her train of thought quite often, especially when she hasn’t figured out how to quell the plant’s rambling. She has also become immensely disorganized, due to both the voices and her lack of sight. This is likely to improve when she figures out how to control her power of “herbal sensing” but do not be surprised to find various herbs and healing items skewed all around her den and mixed together.

Increased Ability:

Enhanced Senses – Sense Of Smell

Oddly enough, the plant obsessed female only gained a boost to a single one of her senses – much unlike those who received a boost to two of them. Her sense of smell has dramatically increased in its power, with its range and overall sensitivity earning large improvements. She can now catch the scent of things miles away from her if she focuses on a particular one for long enough. Her exact range is unknown, but it is likely around three miles wide. Deciphering between various impeccably similar aromas is also a present capability. She can easily tell the difference between near indistinguishable herbs by taking a single whiff of the items (with her eyes closed, of course). However, she cannot pick and choose which scent to center on if a stronger one overlaps a weaker one. The fresher of the two will almost always win.

Stealth

Sylvie has always been a rather lightweight wolf, airing on the side of speed and agility. Her paw steps – even before the enhancement – rarely ever spurred up racket whenever she moved, no matter the velocity she traveled at. However, the gift of stealth was still not one she would expect herself to have. Improved smell? Sure. It helps her find herbs and other various healing items. But stealth? She wasn’t a hunter (and never would be), so what good would it serve her? Creepy around some lumbering bear that she could already outspeed? Honestly, the very prospect that she can go so easily unnoticed amuses her. Very few can even hear her footsteps nowadays, and – if not for her blaring white fur – she’d basically be invisible to the naked eyes. Though, she cannot help but wonder… if this ability just so happens to be alluding to something… more.

Powers To Be Gained:

Regeneration

The ability of regeneration is not one uncommon to the concept of powers. It’s likely one of the first few thoughts when discussing such a topic. Regrowing limbs, instantly healing over wounds, and whatever else floats their boat. However, in the case of Sylvie… you may as well forget a lot of the known properties of this ability (besides the very basics). They don’t exist to her. Her regenerative properties take a rather “gruesome” or “haunting” turn, and the process at first is quite painful for the first couple of months she deals with this power. When damaged… her flesh doesn’t actually grow back. At least, not at first. Instead, what comes of her is a conglomeration of quickly growing vines and various plant based will cover or replace the injured area – completely replacing any flesh present. This process is quite painful (at first) as she can physically feel the vines and plants extending and growing from her body. Thankfully, though, the unsettling sight of vines-for-flesh will never last. Skin and fur will grow back over the area with time (but it is unknown whether or not her flesh does the same). But this part of the process is slow. It may take multiple months or even an entire year or more for it to grow back, depending on the severity. Once all the fur and skin is in place, the only sign of a former injury will be a small plant growing out of that very area.

Overall, this is a completely passive ability. Meaning that she has no physical control over it. The only improvement this ability will receive with time is to its speed. The rate at which she regenerates vines, fur, and skin will shorten as the months and years pass. Though, the time to heal (hide wise) never goes under a year for serve cases. The only way to prevent this healing ability (at any stage) is by setting her on fire. Though, cold weather does slow down the process by a large margin.

Herbal Colloquy & Sensing

Speaking with plants is a rather bizarre ability that this herbalist comes to possess. Or, better put, the ability to hear or listen to plants speak. How it works is pretty straight forward. All surrounding plants (within a certain radius) can essentially whisper to her. Not in a “conversational” type way, but in a “gossiping” sort of way. The plants will relay various tidbits of information to the female that can either be useful… or something entirely random such as “did you hear about what oak tree caused?” The messages received depend entirely on the species of plant themselves as well as their age. For example, older trees tend to tell stories about their youth that come with wise messages… that are basically only useful for other plants. Ivy and other vines are mischievous – usually speaking cryptically, making harsh jabs, and sometimes giving important details (if prompted or bribed). The differences in their patterns of speech and knowledge allow her to decipher between something like a not-safe-to-use-or-consume holy bush and a completely harmless raspberry bush. Upon first gaining the ability, these so-called “whispers” start out as a roaring mass of voices that she can barely decipher between. Nor can she block them out or get them to shut up. Headaches constantly spur from the bustling “crowd” within her mind, but only when she tries to focus in on what they’re saying. But, being who she is, they are incredibly distracting. So, headaches will be quite commonplace. Over time, she will be able to block out and ignore some plants while listening to others. The prospect of actually speaking to these plants is currently foreign to her (and will likely remain that way for a long while). She may make attempts to speak with them through the bustling mess of her mind, but she is rarely ever fruitful. It is only through patience that she will be able to collect even a single ounce of information from these organisms.

It is from this minor ability (as well as another aspect) that Sylvie gains the power of Herbal Sensing – which is much more “center stage” than the colloquy aspect. (This basically means that her “conversing” with plants only exists because of her sensing ability.) Similar to seismic sensing, this power allows her to basically see without actually being able to. Besides the whisper of plants – who just love to murmur about various life forms trekking through certain areas which are always great distances away – she can also access the fauna by touching a plant. By doing so she can create a mock image of the world within her head. If she focuses hard enough, that is. The only way to true focus, however, is by honing in on that plant’s voice. This image is not very detailed, with it simply being a black landscape with white outlining things around her. At first, it takes a lot of concentration to use this ability (something that she’d be lacking in for quite a while). But, as time moves on, this power will be as easy as breathing to her. However, living beings can only be seen while moving around unless she really hones in on their position. That being said, no one can hide from this female – lest they be in areas without foliage. Not even those with powers that deny others the ability to sense them. She doesn’t sense things like others, after all. She essentially feels them through vibrations and whispers passing between the plants. This ability has been present ever since the flash, with there being no feasible way to turn it off. It is, however, rather weak at the moment. But it will grow with time, and be able to stretch out and sense things miles away.

Backstory:

Sylvie’s heritage is not as extravagant as her coat and personality may propose. Her Sylvie’s heritage is not as extravagant as her coat and personality may propose. Her mother was a rather “harsh” individual, even if she undeniably thought the world of her pups. She had incredibly high standards for them, born out of life and the desire to see them thrive. However, these standards actually drove her pups away as she got enraged whenever they were not met. The flower-pelted female generally took the brunt of these (among a few others of her litter) due to the title she was working towards. Her father wasn’t any better, as he typically stood back and watched her mother throw hissy fits over how “poorly” she had done. This caused quite a few conflicts between the family as she grew older, until it drove her to denounce the wolf as her so-called “mother.” The two haven’t spoken since.

Sylvie’s transformation is not one for the faint of heart. It’s a grim tale filled with immense amounts of pain and discomfort. Her height seems to have remained the same, with nothing having been added or subtracted from it. Her weight, on the other hand, did receive an increase – going from 123 pounds to 142 pounds. This weight gain is from a few select reasons, one of which is an increase in muscular structures. They are much more prominent and evenly spread across her whole body. She has lost the speed and agility aspects she possessed (to a degree) due to the added bulk which has slowed her down. Besides, there is no true need for such maneuverability when she can practically tank all hits thrown her way thanks to her regenerative properties. For the most part, the density of her has remained mostly the same. Though, some fur has grown a bit more around the elbows of her front legs since the transformation. One of the most unsettling aspects – to others, away – is the constant eerie and empty grin she now seems to carry. It rarely ever seems to drop, so it is of little surprise that some think it to be a permanent expression.

From solid to patterned, this female’s colorations have certainly taken quite the hit. All of that pristine white fur of her is now vacant – replaced with various shades of green and black which really follow her namesake. The most apparent color is eerie black. It coats the majority of her fur along her body in its dark and haunting shade. The first place one will spot it is along her back and sides. Here it is broken up by swirls of smokey black, twisting about like vines climbing the limbs of a tree. More eerie black can be found along her under-legs and paws. Above it is mostly a shade of umber which paints most of her upper leg. A small strip of grullo runs along the top of her front legs (right where the elbow bends) while another strip moves along the upper-back part of her hind legs. More eerie green can be found across a small portion of her lower chest – right between her two front legs. Some more umber cuts through this area of eerie black, cutting it off from the fur of the rest of her chest. The final spot of this eerie black runs along the upper ride of her tail, following the bone down to its point. The upper tip of the tail, however, fades from the eerie black into a shade of black chocolate. The second most apparent color is turtle green. It covers portions of the middle section of her body (between the umber underbelly and eerie black back) where it connects to various other areas of her body. One section runs down to meet up with the eerie black along her chest. Wide-ish lines of grullo follow it down on either side of the green. The turtle green loops up to meet fur along her neck while the grullo fades out. The middle sections of her tail, face, and neck all have this shade of green as well. For her tail, the section is small and thin. Underneath it is a much large portion of grullo that lines the entire underside of her tail. The turtle green on her neck has a much larger area than that on her tail and connects directly to her head. The upper part of her neck is mostly raisin black on coloration, with three strips of grullo running through it. One along the top of her neck, another through the middle, and the third towards the edge of the black. Finally her face, which has a wide range of colors surrounding and cutting through the turtle green. First is the chinese black surrounding the underside of her lower jaw, upper head, and snout. This exact color can also be seen on her paw pads and claws. Some more grullo runs around her maw, lining her lips. It makes a swirl at the very end of her mouth which curls into the turtle green. More grullo runs in a line underneath her eyes and to the top of her forehead where it connects to the upper strip of the same color along her neck after connecting her ears. Said ears are mostly grullo in color with eerie black lining the connection between the inner and outer parts of the appendage. Speaking of the inner ear, it is the last spot of turtle green and can be found on her body. One final dap of umber plops itself around her “eyebrows.” The colors of her eyes are unknown. Then again, it is unknown whether she still has them or not. Her gums and inside of her mouth have taken on a green shade similar to the darker shades of what paints her body, and her teeth are now stunningly white. The only thing that has remained the same is the cold black of her nose.

The plants she once held oh-so-dear to her heart have turned against her during this transformation – having physically taken root within her own body. The ivy that had once draped itself around her neck has spread to new areas and has gained another loop around her neck. The lower half of her tail is wrapped around two loops of this ivy. Her midsection is tied up within three loops of the ivy which are much tighter than those around her neck and tail – fitting snugly against her body. One last section of ivy twines itself around her front legs, ending just above her paws. At the base of her tail, a mass of leaves has taken root, almost like a bush. Between the leaves in a few select areas are small cylindrical white flowers of unknown species. Some leaves from this very plant wrap around the bottom-outer side of her right ear. All her scars have been replaced by vines that seemingly act as flesh. Day by day, fur and skin creep back over them – regenerating itself. But what has to be the most haunting aspect of this transformation has to be her eyes. Or what’s there in place of them. Flowers. Instead of eyes within her sockets, she has flowers. Her right eye contains two flowers of a pink shade (their species also unknown). Her left, on the other hand, is a more sorrowful sight. This is where her most beloved lavender resides, amidst some astilbe. The lavender keeps a straight and strong posture, not flopping down to the side like it usually would. As though it’s proud of its achievement. These flowers have been seen and heard rustling whenever she catches someone moving with her sensing ability. Almost like they themselves can actually see their target. It is highly advised that none of these plants are removed from her. Doing so will cause her physical pain and discomfort, as though one was pulling chunks out of her instead of leaves.

After the flash, Botanophobia has found speaking to be physically impossible. All she can muster initially after the event is raspy syllables. Not even full words. Just small and short syllables that few can decipher. Overtime, she will gain some of her voice back. It will be nothing like its former self – still carrying that raspy noise from before. Words can be formed at times, if she strains herself enough. However, they always have some space between each. Her words also seem to almost have an echo to them during this stage, as though she were speaking in a hollow area. Her other noises have taken hits as well. But rather than being gone and replaced with something else, they have been filled with a number of natural sounds. The rustling of leaves and creaking of wood are examples of this addition. Her body itself also seems to mimic these sounds whenever she moves in certain ways. It’s almost like there’s no wolf left. Just a bunch of plants controlling something in the shape of the powerful canine.

Other:

- No one knows Sylvie’s real name (Botanophobia), and she doesn’t intend on telling anyone it anytime soon. If ever.

- Despite being rather icy towards her patients, this flower-ridden female does care deeply about their issues and ailments… not because she feels sorry or anything.

- Ever since the enhancement of her skills, Sylvie has found that her eyesight has slowly been deteriorating. There wasn’t much of a change (before the flash), but things were definitely becoming quite blurry at a distance. She isn’t quite sure why this is happening, though. She’s in perfect health, has been eating well and avoiding ailments, and is rather young in years. This shouldn’t be possible for her just yet…

- Oh, how Sylvie just loves the color purple! She has a habit of grabbing every purple flower she encounters just to place it somewhere in her fur.

- Of course, flowers aren’t the only thing she ties into her wintery fur. Sylv has a good variety of plants, all stuck into the fur of her neck and shoulders. Various vines, ivy, and even portions of… flowering bushes (especially those with white petals). Yeah, she almost entirely focused on flowers.

- After her transformation, this female’s mind is an absolute mess of voices and thoughts – most of which cannot be distinguished between one another. It would be advised that mind readers avoid entering her thoughts until she gets everything under control, lest they desire to earn themselves a headache.

- Never talk to this gal about pain. You won’t know what it is until you experience something as horrid as her transformation.

- When angry, vines can be seen crawling out of her throat and waving about in agitation. No one is quite sure how she remains unbothered by this.

Yes, I have hidden my favorite color in this here section. Yes, it is likely easy ta find. Will I say exactly where it is or which color it is? Not at all. XD

Lots of character growth with this gal. She’s likely ta gain some more aspects ta her personality as time goes on.

Name: Venus
Age: 2 and A half months
Gender: Female
Rank: Pup
Appearance: Venus has A red coat, much like her mother, with A dark hickory back. She has two light hickory colored socks on her front paws. Her coat is A medium length and quite luscious yet it is very floofy due to her pupness.. Her tail , like the rest of her body, is floofy due to her pup nature. Little dots of white-ish yellow adorn her body complementing the Red coat. Her dark blue eyes stand out and are quite darker than the other pups.
(before the awakening)
(after the awakening)
Personality:
Reserved | Intelligent | Competitive | Empathic | Professional |
Unlike most pups of her age, she is very reserved and prefers to watch the world go by, taking note of everything, instead of playing her days away. If you asked her what happened today, she could give you A detailed explanation of what , when where and who happened on that specific day. When she is eventually dragged into playing, she is very competitive and always strives to beat the other pups. She maintains A very professional manner in doing tasks and rarely strays from it. Despite her cold and unfun demeanor, she is deeply empathic and listens to problems very closely.
Strengths:
Observation
Record keeping
Listening
(Play) Fighting
Weaknesses:
Social skills (conversations etc.)
Independent
Cold
Increased ability (was A bit confused on the rules of inheritance so correct me if these and the powers are wrong)
Increased hearing
Like her mother, she has the hearing of a doe and is very sensitive to noise. She is not as paranoid as her mother but tends to stay in the den away from noises when she is frightened. This adds to the negative and bratty perception of her that packmates have. This also adds to her reserved nature.
Vision
Inherited from her mother, she can see more detail and see things far away. Because of this, She is A great guard and can see things coming from farther, giving the pack more time to prepare. This can make other pack members annoyed with her constant nitpicking of details that they can't see.
Her skills will only grow as she develops. She is still quite young.
Power(s) that will be gained
Rose growth: In spring and summer, she can grow roses that blossom beautifully. These have large thorns can attack any intruders if she grows them in A barrier. However, she does not quite know how to use them at first and doesn't know what triggers them so her den and the camp is spread with prickly Pink & yellow roses that she is forced to clean up.
Likes & dislikes: (WIP, will do later for reference in rp)
Mother: Celeste
Father: None (for now)
Littermates: None (for now)
Other: Favorite color is plums.

As I said before, and I am reforcing it now, I will not allow newborns to be played. There is nothing for them to do and their powers will not be able to be used period until they are older. If you would like to control a pup, make sure that the mother wants their pups before the flash. (And when I say wants the pups, I mean that they have had the pups before the flash. Pups need to be 1 month old)

You can also change the pup to being an apprentice as well ^^

Yeah, this is a heavy WIP ><
Name:
Chenoa
Age:
4
Gender:
Female
Rank:
Hunter
Appearance:
(Credits go to Wincey on DA)
Chenoa is a black wolf with brown fur mixed in throughout her body. She has beautiful golden eyes and a hidden scar on her stomach from a fight she got into when she was younger. She has big paws much like her father. She also has Dense and thick fur like her mother. Chenoa has a softer voice then most wolves but when the time is right, she can get herself to be heard. Her left ear is folded and will always be that way but when she is on a sent or curious her right ear will magically stand up, matching her right ear. She weighs 94 pounds and is 26 inches tall
Personality:
Loyal//Hard-worker//Social//Reserved//Observant//Sensitive
.
Loyal
Chenoa is as loyal as one can be. She might not agree to your ways of thinking and try to change your mind but she will always stand by your side. She never allows a friendship or relationship to fade away from lack of effort. Instead, she always makes sure to give her relationships a great deal of time. Even if it's slightly inconvenient for her. Safety in numbers, am i right? Chenoa will literally drop everything if someone is in trouble or in need of help or confort.
Hard-worker
Most of the time, "okay", isn't good enough. It has to be the best it can be. Chenoa never leaves the job unfinished. She works until it is perfect. Even though she's a perfectionist with her work, she understands others dont all have the same ability to get things done. So if others mess up, it's fine. But if she does? Well, that's not okay.
Social yet Reserved
Even though Chenoa is pretty reserved, she dosent necessarily like to be alone. In fact, she kinda hates it if it is for long periods of time. She loves to have another presence around, even if words aren't spoken. In fact, she prefers it that way.
Because of her reservedness, she dosent like to talk about herself to much or open up right away, but she will always be there to listen.
Observant
Her favorite thing to do, besides go on a hunt with her pack is to observe. Wether it be her packmates or simply the things around her, she loves to watch. She likes to try and figure out what others true motives, thoughts and feelings are even if it seems a bit intruding. She also likes to learn about the things around her that she observes, even if it is useless little facts. That's why you can find her listening to anyone who can teach her things, particularly the elders and medics.
Sensitive
Even though she usually doesn't show it, Chenoa is quite sensitive to other's opinions. If someone doesn’t appreciate or approve of her, she gets hurt on the inside. That is part of the reason why she works so hard. And since she usually keeps her deep feelings to herself, the built up pressure makes her all the more sensitive. Normally she dosent blow up, but there's always that possibility if she gets hurt too deeply.
.
Overall though, Chenoa is a nice wolf to be around.
Strengths:
Observant
Hearing
Accelerated Healing
Built for defense - with her personality, build and powers
Weaknesses:
Sensitive
Her enhanced hearing can be quite the headache when she wants peace and quiet
With a big enough wound, Chenoa can be very tired or hungry which can be bad in certain situations.
Forcefields take alot of energy ><
Increased Ability:
Enhanced Hearing
Chenoa's enhanced hearing gives her both an advantage and a disadvantage. Obviously, the advantage is that she can hear far better than most wolves. It's practically impossible for anything to sneak up on this wolf. The disadvantage however is quite big. Her hearing is so good it can be quite hard to get a good night's sleep. If Chenoa is not focused even for a second, her hearing can spin out of control. When it is out of control, instead on focusing on the immediate sounds, every little sound within her radius will come rushing into her ears. This can result in two different things. The least it can do is give Chenoa a small headache. The longer the fit lasts, the worse the headache. The second thing it can do is give the poor female temporary deafness. Luckily though, Chenoa has quite the handle on her hearing now so it rarely goes that far anymore.
Accelerated Healing
Just as it sounds my friends, Chenoa can heal faster than most wolves. She can have a pretty bad scratch one day but then the next it is healing nicely. It is safe to say, she rarely has to rely on herbs or the medic. However, the accelerated does make the female quite tired and/or hungry depending on the severity of the wound. Most of the time though, all Chenoa has to do is take a small nap or have a snack and everything is practically back to normal.
Power(s) that will be gained:
Forcefield Manipulation
Chenoa's powers were built for defense. With hearing so that no one can sneak up on her and now her newest advantage, forcefield manipulation. Her power does take some energy on her part though. The bigger and longer the forcefield is up, the more energy it takes. She can use it as defense to protect her and her friends but she can also use it in offense. For offense, she can throw it at her enemies and it either just knockes them down/away or it can actually hurt them if thrown hard enough. The downside to this power is that if her forcefield is broken, it will actually hurt her. The pain is so great it throws her to the ground, so it can be a major disadvantage, especially when she's still learning.
~~~
teir one
Basic forcefield use - protect herself or others
teir two
The ability to throw her forcefield at her enemies
*Likes:
Observing and learning
Being around others
Being praised/getting compliments
*Dislikes:
Plums
Losing control of her hearing
Hot summer days
Other:
Dark green as always ;)
Name:
Zero
Age:
3
Gender:
Male
Rank:
Hunter
Appearance:
Zero is a simple wolf, practically nothing special about him. He is however beautiful in his own right. His snow white fur is very soft and fluffy, perfect to cuddle with. The only color on his body besides white is a bit of cream on the tip of his tail. His eyes are mesmerizing dark golden color but when he reads minds or dream walks, they glow. Zero weighs about 76lbs and is 25 inches tall.
Personality:
Sensitive//Caring//Pure//Enthusiastic//Playful//Approachable//Lovable//Respectful
Sensitive
Alot like Chenoa, Zero can be pretty sensitive. Just not in her sense. For him, he's not sensitive about himself but for the wolves around him. The worst thing in the world about socializing to him is to accidentally hurt the other wolf with his words. He usually has nothing to worry about since he's an absolute cinnamon roll but nevertheless, it is a genuine concern for the young wolf.
Caring
Zero is a very caring wolf. If anyone seems to be struggling he'll help in any way he can. If that means being a listening ear for wolves having an emotional hard time, so be it. If it means doing something he's not good at, so be it. He hates seeing others sad and will always try to be the sunshine in their life.
Pure
Exactly what it sounds like. No dirty thoughts for this wolf. Atleast, most of the time.
Enthusiastic
Zero tends to always think on the positive side. He wants to see the good in everything, including the situations and wolves around him. It is pretty hard to get on his bad side, unless you hurt someone he cares about. If that happens you can expect to be royally ignored. Back to the positive stuff - since Zero is so enthusiastic, he can be quite the encourager. He's a little cheerleader for anyone he holds dear, wanted or not.
Playful, Approachable and Lovable
Zero loves to play and goof around. In fact, that's what he usually does when he's not helping others out. Because of his personality, he could be called a pup in a wolf's body. And what pup isn't lovable? And even if you dont like pups, that's okay because Zero can act his age when he wants to. He always has a light expression on his face, making him much more approachable and lovable. So, tell me, what normal wolf wouldn't like this bundle of joy?
Respectful
As ive sais above, Zero knows how to act like an adult. He can be very respectful and mature when he wants to be. You'll normally find him in his pup mind, but that dosent mean his mature side isn't there. Moral of this story is, dont underestimate my boi >;)
Strengths:
Lovable boi :>
Stealth
Has alot of potential
His personality
Weaknesses:
Sensitive
His whole dream walking power is basically a weakness until he can actually control it xD But mostly the part when he dosent wake up well rested.
Poor boy gets headaches when he uses his telepathy too much and he isn't used to it.
Pain tolerance
Increased Ability:
Enhanced stealth
Zero has became a master at stealth thanks to this ability. He and the other enhanced stealth wolves are the only ones who can sneak up on Chenoa. When Zero intends to use this ability, it is like a switch turns on in his mind. Suddenly he can see the perfect route to take to sneak up on something or someone. The things that would make sound if he were to step on them, glows a faint red only in his mind, telling him to stay away from that stuff.
Power(s) that will be gained:
Dream walking
Sounds fun, right? Well, not when you find yourself in a nightmare. Moving on from the nightmare thing, Zero's power is very sporadic and hard to control. The only sure fire way he can be sure he's going to go into a dream is if he sees a wolf sleeping. But what about the nights he sleeps alone, you ask? Well, that's where the craziness comes in. Sometimes he can have a peaceful night's rest and sometimes he gets teleported into a random wolf's dream. If he happens to spend the night in a wolf's dream, he wont wake up well rested and will often feel very tired halfway through the day. Another thing is, his power isn't limited to just wolves. He can be in the dreams of any living mammal in his radius.
~~~
teir one
Watching the dreams from the sidelines
teir two
Being able to interact with the dreams
teir three
At this tier, Zero can actually not just interact with dreams, but he can change the dream completely. He can give wolves any dream he wants them to dream as long as their sleeping.
.
Telepathy(mind reading)
Besdies his dream walking power, Zero has telepathy aka mind reading. At first his range of telepathy is very limited but as time goes on, he has the power to become a strong mind reader. Once he gets strong enough, he can actually give a wolf an idea or feeling and even be able to search for information in their memories. But, humble beginnings usually come first and in this case that's true. After a minute or two, Zero can get a headache from the strain. Moreover, it can happen even when he's not trying to. You dont always want to know what others are thinking, afterall.
~~~
teir one
Reading minds
teir two
Being able to communicate with others
teir three
Being able to actually give a wolf an idea or feeling and being able to get information through their memories
*Likes:
Being a normal wolf! ><
Playing
Pups
*Dislikes:
Plums
Others feeling sad
Pain
Backstory:
As a yearling, Zero was abandoned his parents for unknown reasons. That's when Chenoa found him and ultimately became his big sister. The two are now rarely apart. One usually having fun and the other being annoyed.
*Appearance after power gain:
New appearance:
Powered up appearance:
Zero only looks like this when he either dream walks or reads minds. Since reading minds dosent take that long most of the time, his new colors will only flash into view for a second or two and disappear when he's done. However, if he's actually having a conversation in his mind, his colors will soildly appear but will be fainter than when he dream walks.
Other:
Dark green :)
Name: Venus
Age: 1 month. (or as old as needed for a pup born before the flash)
Gender: Female
Rank: Pup
Appearance: Venus has A red coat, much like her mother, with A dark hickory back. She has two light hickory colored socks on her front paws. Her coat is A medium length and quite luscious yet it is very floofy due to her pupness.. Her tail , like the rest of her body, is floofy due to her pup nature. Little dots of white-ish yellow adorn her body complementing the Red coat. Her dark blue eyes stand out and are quite darker than the other pups.
(before the awakening)
(after the awakening)
Personality:
Reserved | Intelligent | Competitive | Empathic | Professional |
Unlike most pups of her age, she is very reserved and prefers to watch the world go by, taking note of everything, instead of playing her days away. If you asked her what happened today, she could give you A detailed explanation of what , when where and who happened on that specific day. When she is eventually dragged into playing, she is very competitive and always strives to beat the other pups. She maintains A very professional manner in doing tasks and rarely strays from it. Despite her cold and unfun demeanor, she is deeply empathic and listens to problems very closely.
Strengths:
Observation
Record keeping
Listening
(Play) Fighting
Weaknesses:
Social skills (conversations etc.)
Independent
Cold
Increased ability (was A bit confused on the rules of inheritance so correct me if these and the powers are wrong)
Increased hearing
Like her mother, she has the hearing of a doe and is very sensitive to noise. She is not as paranoid as her mother but tends to stay in the den away from noises when she is frightened. This adds to the negative and bratty perception of her that packmates have. This also adds to her reserved nature.
Vision
Inherited from her mother, she can see more detail and see things far away. Because of this, She is A great guard and can see things coming from farther, giving the pack more time to prepare. This can make other pack members annoyed with her constant nitpicking of details that they can't see.
Her skills will only grow as she develops. She is still quite young.
Gained power(s)
Rose growth: In spring and summer, she can grow roses that blossom beautifully. These have large thorns can attack any intruders if she grows them in A barrier. However, she does not quite know how to use them at first and doesn't know what triggers them so her den and the camp is spread with prickly Pink & yellow roses that she is forced to clean up.
Likes & dislikes: (WIP, will do later for reference in rp)
Mother: Celeste
Father: Unknown (may change)
Littermates: Unknown (may change)
