Appearance
Vince is a far cry from ugly on the outside. A tall, muscular frame comes to a height of 6 foot 4 inches. He weighs in just unter 200 pounds, but it is nearly all muscle. His build is fairly angular, with his shoulders and back being slightly wider than his hips. He has muscle definition without being shredded; it's a healthy balance. His frame has quite a few scars, though none are extremely noticeable or stick out in such a way as to shock viewers. He just looks like he's worked and had accidents here and there, which is exactly the case.
His chiseled face hosts bright green eyes that always appear half lidded or narrowed, displaying a combination of intelligence, malice, knowledge, mischief, and something of a challenge that results in an unholy, barely-bridled tempest of a gaze. It's intimidating, and it is unnerving for many. His nose is set above thinner, fairly flat lips, one corner of which is almost always slightly curled upward in a sort of smirk.
Vincent's eyebrows are straight and a color to match his eyelashes. These are both a darker dirty blond, almost classified as a dark brown. His hair is a few shades lighter and often gains streaks, especially blonder ones during the summer months. His skin is a suntanned tan. He looks like the run-of-the-mill beach boy, though he's never set foot on a beach in his life. Fun fact.
Vincent's movement and mannerisms give away just how dangerous and unpredictable he can be. As he talks, his tone is thoughtful and compelling. Lulling, even. It's easy to get swept away in his low, soothing voice. He has a habit of studying his hands, rubbing his thumb and forefinger together, or massaging his palms when on edge or angry. He walks with confident strides, though there is still a sort of ghostly movement to them. Vince's steps are not heavy -- he's quite light on his feet, though this is mostly just him being constantly alert. Always watching, always ready for anything.
He smells of the woods, like he's been off camping for the last few days. Pine smoke and nature. He dresses like it, too. Jeans cover either boots or tennis shoes. A belt is usually hidden by a t-shirt, and that is occasionally overshadowed by a jacket. The kind with the fluffy insides only, because those are superior.
Personality
Vincent is both abrasive and loud, and smooth and quiet. He is a die with so many sides it could be a sphere. He makes the walls of Jericho look pitiful. The Great Wall of China aspires to be the size of his emotional block. If more people knew about him, his ability to switch and hide emotions would be the eighth wonder of the world. Vincent is an enigma. A psychologist's nightmare -- or hayday. And he fully intends to keep himself that way.
Vincent's most prominent, hardest front is that of a manipulative, uncaring, arrogant jerk. Mind you, he is all of those things, as well as everything hidden underneath. He just focuses so hard on maintaining this appearance that those who find out what's beneath his outermost layer are often shocked. The deeper down one tunnels into this soul, the more bizarre, horrifying, sad, and curious it gets.
While Vincent is fully capable of fighting in a physical sense, he knows that many arguments can be won long before hands are thrown. His words are carefully chosen to destroy, to push buttons, or to hold close. His words can be so thickly laced with poison that they create a biohazard, or they can be the gentlest, most open things. It all depends on what he wants to accomplish.
This young man has known hurt and anguish for most of his life. He never dealt with it. He refuses to. It fuels him; it drives him forward, on to victory. He has learned what happens when you put others first. Now, he watches out for his own interests -- though there is a very deep, secretive place in him that is still much more human than he wants to ever admit.
He is malicious. He's manipulative. He's vicious. Vindictive. Ambitious. Those people around him are pawns in his game. Those who have hurt him... they are burned into his memory. Vincent never forgets -- but he always avenges. He doesn't really want power; he wants an army to be able to accomplish his goals. He wants chaos to spread like the disease that destroyed his life. Vincent hates almost everything and everyone.
Those in his closest friend group are the only people on the whole planet that he comes close to liking. He has a protective side only for them; they are his responsibility, and he intends to keep them safe. Of course, this is only for his own devices (or so he tries to convince himself), because what useful people are effective when they're dead? Vincent is extremely good at calculating risks. He knows almost every trick in the book, and he thinks out scenarios long in advance.
Vincent appears fairly aloof and disinterested when it comes to the real world and dealing with the people in it. He acts without a care in the world, or so it seems, and the repercussions can go step on a Lego. Every once in a while, though, he comes across a person -- and just snaps. The murderous, bloodthirsty side of him rears its ugly head, and a few seconds later, that person is missing theirs. Precious few, if any, know what triggers him so. They're just aware that he has this side in the first place.
In the deepest, most locked away recesses of his being, Vincent is loyal. He's even able to feel some sort of a semblance of love. Down in there, there is still a happy little kid who loves horses and chasing sheep like a cattle dog. There's still a tiny flicker of the boy who liked to cook and help his sister pick flowers. There's still an overprotective, big brother bear in there.
But he can't get out.

Backstory
He was the only child for most of his childhood. His sister, Sadie, was born when he was eight years old. He had a happy life, for the most part, and was a very normal child. One night, when he was thirteen, he woke up to his sister crying and the smell of smoke.
All that was ever disclosed to the public was that a burglary-gone-wrong resulted in the deaths of everyone in the family except for Vincent, and he tells precious few individuals the entire story. Vince went to live with his grandmother after the burglary, and his personality did a complete 180. Only one of the perpetrators was ever caught, and Vincent got to him before the police could.
Other
He's a boxer. That's his only sport.
He could be the murderer, suspect, or accomplice. I feel like with his attitude and history, he'd at least be a suspect. Thinking up a motive.
