{ S K A D I } Credits to DeingeL-Dog-Stock on DA Age: 9 Months Gender: Female Breed: Husky X Malamute Status: New Stray (Abandoned) Appearance Once she is completely grown, this young female will stand at 25 inches to the shoulder and weigh in around 83 pounds. She has a muscular, athletic physique, obviously built to pull sleds and do so with both endurance and strength. Her long legs and large paws promise good grip and surefootedness across the often slick or difficult terrain. She has long, easy lopes for strides, and it doesn't take her long to get where she's going. Skadi's most prominent, defining characteristic is her coat color. She has lovely red husky markings on a snow white coat with very slight cream tones to it. Her russet coloration grows to a darker auburn along her dorsal line running from the bridge of her nose, across her head and back, and down the top side of her tail. Her coat is thick and soft, though the fur itself isn't as long as some dogs'. Rather, hers is of a more moderate length, causing her to look extra fluffy without the fur weighing itself down into a typical malamute's longer, downward strokes. Her nose is a light liver color with darker liver patches prominently displayed on either side of her nostrils and towards the bottom of the middle crease, emphasizing the dividing line. Her gums match perfectly and are home to a set of long, white teeth. Skadi's eyes are a soft, dark amber and rimmed with dark lashes and skin. She is, all things considered, a very aesthetically pleasing dog to look at. Personality She may look sweet and innocent, but Skadi is much more than a surface level sweetheart. She is calculating, independent, a little feisty, and occasionally flirtatious. Whether or not Skadi is serious when she is flirting is hard to tell; actually, sometimes it's unclear if she's flirting in the first place or just joking around. Or is she being serious? She's quite mature for her age, outside of the occasional comment to the opposite sex and a potty humor joke here or there. When she doesn't know what to do, or if she doesn't know the solution to a problem or question, she looks to her elders. If they don't know, either, then she brainstorms. It's quite simple, to her. Logical. She is creative, but her mind works around logic. If she cannot make sense of something, she becomes easily frustrated and will be stormy for at least the rest of the day, or longer, depending on how big of a deal it seems to her. Skadi is goal-oriented and rather ambitious, though not always in the way of dominance. She pushes herself constantly, sometimes going too far, though she is getting better at knowing her limits. Still, they will be tested. Skadi is a smart dog, and she has a tactical outlook on life. Everything she sees, she thinks of how she can use to her advantage. Her puppy mind is constantly thinking up random scenarios, almost like daydreams, in which she plots her moves. Of course, very few will likely ever happen. She can be quite snarky and gets defensive easily. With her strength, despite her age, she can put up a fair fight, even against an adult. Will she win? Absolutely not. Will they regret ever running into her? Definitely. When in any fight, Skadi tends to do as much damage as she possibly can, no matter the outcome. Of course, this is only when she feels threatened or is otherwise offended. She won't go around looking to pick fights; actually, she much prefers to be by herself. Thoughts on What's Going On? All she knows for sure is that she has been abandoned. One minute she was warm and fed, and the next she was being broomed away from her home and locked out. She doesn't know what to do, now. He has a scar over his left eye and a torn ear, many dogs wonder where he got his many other scars but Ares has always been tight lipped about his past, getting a dark look in his eyes at the memories. Ares has a very deep and chilling growl, a sound mixed of a bear roar and a wolf snarl no dog, human or wolf will never hear it unless he is asleep dreaming about his past and they are near. ~ ||Personality|| Ares is a free spirit, often going where the wind takes him. He often has an odd yet mature view of different topics. He is a smart dog, always up for a challenge. He is headstrong, always speaking his mind. He isn't the most popular member of the pack because of this, and that he isn't afraid to stand against someone. Ares was raised to be very independent, and that he is. Ares is kind, doing his best to help those around him, even if it means putting himself in harm's way. Ares is the kind of male that prefers the company of female dog's and pups but will take even the company of a fellow male. Ares is a protective brute towards all females; caring unconditionally for them and their young regardless of their personal relationship. Ares is a huge flirt, always teasing females even in the presence of another brute, yet he has yet to take a mate of his own. Ares is a loyal friend that will joke and stand by his friends. Appearance:
Most of Eon's fur is a dark grey colour, though his underbelly, muzzle, and legs are a lighter grey. The light grey on his muzzle extends across both cheeks. On his legs, the light grey reaches from his paws to just below his elbows. Eon's frame is relatively lean under his thick wolf's fur; even during summer, he has trouble putting on weight. While he is not exceptionally strong, he is as agile as he is crafty, swift on his paws and hard to knock over. Eon's legs are relatively long for his body, lending him an almost youthful lankiness. Proportionally, his tail is also slightly long, and he tends to hold it low against his legs. The top of his tail is dark grey, but the underside is the same light grey as his stomach. Eon's eyes are a deep gold, alight with a feral cunning.
Personality:
Eon was clearly shaped by his environment. A lifetime in the wild, and much of that as a lone wolf, has led to a self-assurance when in his element, and an almost paradoxical caution when outside of known circumstances. Eon plans through all of his actions carefully, and will retreat to safety if he does not have the time to do so. The wolf is a master of sizing up his opponents, and enjoys using words rather than violence to get his way - though he is not opposed to using violence if pushed.
Eon is not especially friendly towards other wolves, as he views others as merely tools for his own use. That being said, if he sees a reason to cultivate a bond, he will. Eon isn't aggressive towards others, but is rather quiet until he's decided how the interaction should be handled. All other animals are simply food to him. Eon's lean frame and the harshness of the harshness of the Alaskan wilderness have led to a perpetual gnawing hunger. The main motivator for most of his behaviour is either food or flight.
