Why do you think that some people who seem good can suddenly turn right around and do something terrible?

Lots of reasons. I mean, the person could just in reality be a terrible person and were just trying to seem good for looks. Or they could be a good person and do the terrible thing without knowing it's terrible. Or they just... do it without thinking or not in their right mindset.
