Tristan heard Adina scream, and threw his book aside, running to find her. Adina had multiple bad run ins with demons, and was sensative about being touched in general. He had no idea what had happened, but knew that she would have a panic attack if she was too worked up, and he hurried to her side. He saw Echo standing there, but decided to ignore her for the present, pulling Adina against his chest, and siding to the floor. He whispered soft encouraging words to her, holding her close, doing his best to soothe her.

Echo jerked back, covering her ears at the angel's scream. She squeezed her eyes shut and shook her head, trying to clear it of the loud noise ringing through her skull. Ajax flew down and landed next to Echo, asking if she was alright. Echo shook her head and clutched at it.

Tristan slowly rocked her back and forth, and the female angel soon calmed, small sobs still sometimes sliding from her lips. Tristan picked her up bridal style, and couldn't help the sour look that slipped across his face at the demons. He carried Adina back to her rooms, and went back to the library to retrieve his book.

Echo still had her hands covering her ears, so Ajax led her to the couch of the library. He didn't like the way that Tristan had looked at them when he carried the female angel away. He glared back at him. He sat the female demon down on the couch, moving a book and hugging her, trying to calm her down. Ajax knew that Echo was sensitive to loud sounds, so he spoke in a whisper. "It's alright, Ek. It's quiet now."

Tristan walked back through the library, looking for his book. He found it on the floor near his chair, and hurried out, hoping to not run into the demons. To his relief, he made it out, and wandered back to Adina's room, to keep her company.

Echo calmed down, breathing more evenly, and allowed Ajax to take her hands off her ears. "You alright?" He asked her softly. Echo just nodded and laid her head on his shoulder, closing her eyes.

Tristan was still highly irritated with the demons, and decided that he wasn't going to have lunch with them. He was painfully aware that if they didn't eat together, they didn't eat at all, but he was still too mad. Plus, Adina had fallen asleep next to him, and he didn't want to wake her up. She'd had a rough morning, and deserved some rest.

Ajax had left shortly to grab some food for Echo, bring it back to the library for her. She was still sitting on the couch wen he gave her the food.

Tristan dozed off after a bit, but when he woke up he was starving. Adina had shifted off of him, and he slowly stood, and stretched. He hurried down the halls, and was able to beg some bread and other things off a servant, but ate quickly, and went back to Adina's room.

After Echo had eaten, she had fallen asleep on his shoulder. Ajax sighed lightly, picked her up and carried her back to her room, opening the door quietly.
