Luna followed Blue Jay. "Are you still going to become her mate" she asked. "You shouldn't be stuck with Nyra. She's horrible. More than what you've seen" she replied. *Why should I care? I mean, sure, he doesn't deserve to be her mate, but I can't stop it* she thought, cursing to herself for asking.

He stopped mid stride and lowered his head. Both out of thought and sadness. He didn't look at her as he answered quietly. "I don't know. Truely I do not wish to. She seems dreadfully unpleasant and uptight. Not to mention closed minded." He looked from the ground to Luna. "But if my parents wished it, I would without a second thought." He walked at a slower pace as after he spoke he could feel his legs feeling odly shaky.

Luna shook her head. "It's unfair you would have to be her mate" she said as she looked away. "Nyra doesnt deserve someone half as kind as you" she replied before she gave him a small nuzzle to his shoulder. She stiffened up when she realized what she did. "Sorry" she said as she followed a bit behind Blue Jay. She let her eyes fall to the ground as she kept the same pace as the male.

He huffed as she spoke. "Everything is unfair to someone at some point, it was going to be my day eventually." As she nuzzle him he didn't know how to react, and it was more put off with her apology. "Your fine, just trying to comfort me I'd assume." He started walking again and still kept his head downwards. "Its my cross to bear, don't worry about me." He kept his voice quiet as he entered a clearing lined with holes.

Luna watched Blue Jay before she sighed. "I just dont want to see such a kind wolf stuck with a coldhearted one" she replied. "There has to be another way to merge the packs without you being stuck with her of all wolves." She looked at the dens in the clearing and looked shocked. They were bigger than the ones she had been in, and they looked much neater and put together better. *Much better than the ones they shoved me in. Looking like they would collapse any minute* she thought.

The more she spoke about fairness the more it felt like a thorn in his paw. Why is she so concerned? It shouldn't matter to her either way. "I will be fine no matter the outcome, I assure you." He started walking to a patch with four holes. "All of these are empty, we make an extra when one is filled. Take a look in each, see which one you like best." He sat and waited.

Luna slowly nodded before she looked between the dens, picking the farthest to the left. "Thank you Blue Jay. I mean it." Her blue eyes watched him as she sat down, wishing there was something she could do to help. Her white coat started to almost shine as the moon started to rise, hitting her pelt.

He nodded and yawned, showing all of his perfectly sharpened teeth. "Your welcome. So I take it you will be staying with us?" He tilted his head while out the corner of his eyes he could see a full moon.

Luna nodded to Blue Jay. "I certainly dont want to go back to Storm Pack with Nyra close to being in charge" she replied. *What will happen after the merge* she thought. *Nyra will still try to rip me a new one, even if Blue Jay is there.* She knew Storm Pack wouldnt get in her way, but she wasnt sure if Mountain Claw would help keep her safe. *Would they go against an alpha to protect an omega* she thought.

He shook his head. "You don't need to worry about her. She has orders from her mother and my parents to stay away from you, and I have orders to keep you safe in camp away from her." He stood up and stretched his front paws and legs forward and could see the hint of blue in his pelt from the moonlight.
