Jason tried not to act shocked. How could she shrug off the lives that others trusted her with? He already knew he would die for Ribs and Rainbow, along with Addi. And for his father. That was just the sort of person he was. Edited at June 9, 2018 05:39 PM by Abibliophobia

Addilyn
It was obvious Addilyn had changed, though whether it was for the better or the worse no one really knew. She released a heavy sigh, not noticing Jason's shock since she was already caught up in her own problems and emotions. "I'll see if I can get you guys something to eat and I should probably talk to Earl. Apologize or something." Rubbing her temples with slight discomfort as a headache began to pound in her skull. It was probably her body telling her to eat but she wouldn't. Food was hard enough to get for her friends let's alone waste it on herself.

"I will get food. You do what you need to do." Jason said firmly. He gave her a quick kiss on the cheek, "I'll be back in a bit, Okay?" His forehead was wrinkled with worry, "You are going to turn me into an old man before my time," he sighed, "You need food and rest." Putting a finger to her lips before she could say anything, Jason grimaced, "And don't try to convince me otherwise. I'll give you my portion if I can't find enough."

Addilyn
Addilyn glared at Jason playfully, not at all serious. "Fine, but you are not giving me your portion at all. If you can't find food for me then don't worry about it. I'm used to it anyways." After a moment she continued, "I have to go find Earl. Stay safe and don't get yourself killed or hurt." She stood on her tip toes to give him a light kiss on the lips before exiting quickly. "Addi. I'll be honest and straight up. Humans need food. Shocker, I know, but you are human too. So you need food." He said this to her in his mind, as she was already gone. Straightening his jacket, Jason left the room and stopped by where Rainbow and Ribs were. "Yo, Rainbow! I know you have three guns. Give me one." Rainbow tossed one to him, and Jason caught it with a nod of thanks.

Addilyn
With quick steps Addilyn made her way to Earl's apartment. Normally he was in the relaxation area that the elevator and stairs opened up to but he hadn't been there, meaning that Addilyn would have to be alone in a room with him. Knocking on Earl's door with impatience as he groaned, got up from whatever he was doing and opened the door. He had been sleeping, it was obvious from his slightly hoarse voice and his tired eyes. "Hey Earl, sorry for waking you up." If anything, now he looked slightly offended. "Wow, you're going to say sorry for that but not about your boyfriend? You didn't ask permission you just pushed me down till I couldn't even tell you I don't want him here. Meaning someone has to be punished. I was trying to figure out what would make you feel worse, hurting him or you. Then I remembered.. Well, you know, your whole thing about closets. You also knew that this was going to happen which is why you came here right?" Addilyn slowly nodded, pushing her hair behind her ear. "Then go off then." Earl's voice was hard, his childish self gone. Addilyn headed for the janitor's closet, Earl close behind with the keys dinging every so often. Holding her breath, Addilyn opened the closet and immediately felt horrible. Claustrophobia was one of her worst fears, Earl knew this and was using it as an advantage.

There was a faint voice in his head. Strange. It hadn't been there in so long... they were evil thoughts. Ones with awful intent... he listened closely, and slowly grew angrier. No. Way. He charged down the hallways, face tight, and his eyes made of pure death. They would scare anyone. Jason turned the corner and yelled. He took a deep breath that rattled in his chest, "Earl! If you don't like me, then take it out on me! Be a man, and not a wuss." He walked down the hall purposefully, radiating anger.

Addilyn
Addilyn went into the closet before she actually heard Jason's voice. So close yet already so far as the door closed and the lock clicked. Falling to her knees immediately as the darkness crept in and panic slowly overwhelmed her. As an actual panic attack began, her breathing became rapid and came in small gasps which were quickly released. Bringing her knees to her chest and rocking back and forth on the tile floor. Slowly a tear slipped down her face yet she brushed it away. Realizing she was still wearing some makeup this wouldn't look good. It was almost funny how loud her heartbeat was and how she couldn't hear anything else.
Earl heard Jason as he closed the door and locked it. Quickly throwing the keys into a plant pot before turning towards he angry Jason. A glint of anger in his eyes. "I am anything but a wuss, I am protecting Addilyn from you. You are trying to ruin what we have! She's in debt to me and she promised me anything. As long as I didn't hurt her gang and I helped provide for them. She didn't care about herself really. I can help change that though! I can make everything better!" Earl was obviously slightly crazy. Jason continued his walk. Going straight up to Earl, he stood there, radiating fury. His voice was restrained, but it held fire. "You are nothing but a piece of trash. One that preys on others, and takes advantage of weaknesses. I'm giving you one chance before I kill you. Let. Her. Go." He spat out the words, pure hatred showing with every movement and look. "Punish me. I'll do whatever you want, just leave her alone. You hate me, not Addi, so stop taking it out on her."

Addilyn/Earl
Addilyn curled up in a ball on the floor, panting heavily as there darkness covered everything. Closing her eyes which only made it worse, she had left her bow in the room. Why did she allow herself to be put through all of this? Nevermind, Addilyn knew the answer to that. She did it for the others, so they would remain safe. So Jason would stay safe.
Earl was about to reply but down the hall the door to Addilyn's friends room opened. Revealing an annoyed looking Al along with a tiny Zane. Amika holding her dagger in hand while Brax was inside treating his wounds. Hearing Jason's words the gang meerly rolled their eyes, Zane meanwhile was already making his way, unnoticed, towards the flower pot as Al spoke. "Okay, no one is killing anyone. Seriously, no more blood from either of you." Al seemed to be directing his anger towards Jason though a good majority was towards Earl too. "So what's going to happen is both of you are going to move away from the closet door while Amika keeps her knives on both of you. If you make any sudden movements Ami will throw it and she never misses." Earl sighed, annoyance flaring in his gaze. "Al, it doesn't have to go down like this. He's the one who threatened me in my own place." Al rolled his eyes as Zane snatched the keys up from the plant pot, unlocking the closet door. Of course little Zane hadn't went with the plan, he never truly did of course.
