Hondo went back to his den with Bloom. He layed down next to her and their pups. The three newborns squeaked and squealed. "We should give them their pup names." He said. "They will pick their real names when they are adults."

"Yes the first one is Reika and Hondo you can name the two other ones." She said sweetly.

He looked at the two males. "Dike and Arrow." He said. Arrow had a arrow looking mark on his forehead. He licked his new pups. "They are wonderful."

"I love those two names they are wonderful." She said as her pups squirming to find milk. Bloom lays down on her side so her babies can get it.

He got the hare for Hati and gave it to Bloom. "Here," he said, "you need it more than me."

Bloom nods and eats the hare carcass. She tears it up from fur to flesh. "Thank you Hondo." She said.

Hondo licked his chops, staring at the hare. He looked away. He was hungry but his mate needed it more. He scratched an itch at his shoulder, then looked back at his newborn pups.

Bloom was still eat the hare soon after she was finished with it licking her muzzle getting the few bits of pieces of meat off her nose and mouth.

Hondo walked out of the den in search of food. He went to the prey pile and found two leftover hares, he took both and went back to the den.

Bloom will protect her pups from danger and the pack members.

Meanwhile

Valtor was laying down inside his own den until he can something was up but he couldn't figure it out maybe he will listen to one of the wolves and see what is happening at that pack. But he decides to rest.
