Sergio got out after her. He was a few steps behind her. He glanced up when he heard yelling and whistling. He spotted the man that was catcalling her. He glared at him, just as he was to say something, Hannah beat him to it. He smirked, as Hannah yelled back to him. That was brave. Some men just couldn't have their ego tested like that. They would probably start a fight with the woman, some even going as far as to hit the woman because she stood up for herself. If there was one thing Sergio could never understand it was that. Yelling indecent things at a woman who was minding her business. He'd witness a few of his friends do that, and quickly called them out for it.

The whole concept of catcalling was ridiculous in his opinion. What did they want to get out of it? To him, men who participated in that were lonely and desperate pieces of shit. Catching up to Hannah, he nudged her shoulder. "I'll hold him down, and you beat the shit out of him?" He chuckled. He wasn't really just messing around. He was serious, if thats what Hannah wanted to do, he'd do it. What's another assault on his record going to do?

Sergio glanced back over to the man. He scoffed when he saw the man's face and how he didn't look at them anymore. It was a small town, people talked. Especially when people committed felonies and it showed up all over the news. Felonies were practically unheard of around here. Everyone was close to one another, friendly, and kind. He didn't spare the man another glance. All he really had to do was show up, for people to look the other way. "As you wish." He whispered, back to her. A smirk playing on his lips again.

When Sergio first noticed the fearful glances he would get out in public, he was bothered by it. The whispering, the names, the looks, all of it. He could just be going to the corner store and mothers with their kids would leave the store. It was ridiculous. If the judge thought he was a danger to society, he wouldn't have let him out on probation. It was two years ago, why were people still pressed over it? Yeah, he was still getting in trouble with the law, but it was only misdemeanors. However, at some point he accepted it. It was who he was now. If people still wanted to call him a monster, so be it.

Glancing at Hannah, while she wasn't looking at him, he wondered something. Anyone who was seen hanging around him in public, were immediately labeled a certain way. Thinking that person was crazy, for hanging out with him. He'd actually lost a few close friends because their parents saw him around their kid. Seeing as this was the first time they would be seen together out in public, she would quickly realize she would gain unwanted attention. Judging by others he'd hung out with, it was only a matter of time before Hannah would avoid this. Of course, it was better at night. Nosy people were asleep, letting Sergio wander attention free.

For some reason, the thought of Hannah not wanting to be seen with him bothered him to an extent. He half wondered if she would drop the game. He hoped not, he was having fun with it. He had been so at ease with Hannah, he forgot about this little factor. She was bound to find out anyways, how he was treated in public. He just wished it wasn't this soon. Well, the attention she got at school for the rumor he started should've given her hint. Maybe not though. Stepping up to the counter he ordered. He furrowed his brows, as he walked over to the booth Hannah was sat at. Sitting across from her he leaned back. He rubbed his jaw, gazing at the rest of the restaurant.

_{Hannah looked up from her phone as he sat down with her. She put the recent incident to the back of her mind, before placing her phone face down on the table. Turning to face him, she sighed. Hannah barely knew him, they both knew that and it didn’t seem to bother him to let her just commit a bunch of crimes with him. Whether that was a result of their past records or just a really big trust thing, she didn’t know. But Hannah doubted it was about trust, she wasn’t sure if she really trusted him at all yet, and she was quite sure he felt the same way. But if he didn’t plan on trusting her and vice versa, why bother with the game? It didn’t make too much sense to her.}

_{Taping her foot nervously against the floor, she kept an eye on the parking lot. It wouldn’t be the first time for some bad shit to go down here because of her. But the staff all knew about her criminal record, her family, her business, and they knew not to get into the way. Hannah didn’t like innocent people getting hurt directly because of her, but if it was something she couldn’t help, she didn’t really care. If it was entirely just a somebody getting into her way, that was their own fault, not hers.}

_{Hannah tried to read him, she couldn’t figure him out. On one hand, he was this guy she heard about in the news, who was portrayed as a monster, somebody who should be locked up, she heard the same claims at school. But actually, having a decent conversation with him for more than two minutes, it wasn’t as bad as everyone made it out to be. He wasn’t that scary, sure he had done some bad shit, so had she, only difference was that she hadn’t gotten caught.}

_{Leaning forwards, she rested her arms on the table. Tilting her head, she cleared her throat. “So why are people so afraid of you? You kinda just seem like a guy who likes having people afraid of him but is just a softie underneath. I don’t get why people are afraid of you, you’re really not as bad as everyone claims you to be. It’s rather disappointing, actually” She teased. A small smirk on her face, she watched him carefully.}

Sergio scowled as she spoke. He didn't like talking about it all. It was old news, why were people still holding onto it? Hannah was the last person he expected to bring this sort of thing up. Knowing her record she wasn't an angel either. "When you have an original thought, then talk." He said bitterly. He ignored her question. If she hadn't seen the videos, she was living under a rock. He's heard this before, from a few. They were quick to take their words back.

Of course he was fine with teasing and poking fun at him, but he wasn't a fan of it being aimed at his past. He figured the videos had reached every corner of their town. Everyone held the same thought, he was a monster and shouldn't be walking among them. No one was different. The kids however were a little different. The girls in his school would throw themselves at him, claiming they wanted to change him. The guys were jealous of the attention. Adults hated his guts. It was like everyone was against him. He didn't care though, he was long over it. He would continue through his life, carrying on how he wanted.

Rolling his eyes, he went back to rubbing at his jaw. Gazing around the the restaurant again.

Sergio simply sat there. He didn't acknowledge the waiter, as they brought out their food. He practically inhaled his burger. Having not realized he was starving. Frankly, he didn't care if he had just made it awkward and silent between them. More focused on his food.

His gaze flickered towards her. "No." He deadpanned. Simply going back to eating and chugging his drink. He hadn't even noticed what was going on around them. Ignoring his surroundings was a skill he learned after the non stop stares.

Hannah bringing up his past, his mind was distracted. He was kinda pissed, but didn't act on it. He felt like she was just trying to provoke him. He hadn't even really processed her words. Only hearing 'get up and out, quietly.'

That statement he heard. He narrowed his eyes at her, just what did that mean? He watched her get up and leave. Not seeing the bigger picture to her words. He finished up his meal, going after her. If she thought she was going to leave him here, she was dead wrong. Getting up he went after her. Just as he passed through the restaurant is when he noticed that no one was there.

Hearing a commotion on outside, he moved quickly. The sight before him confused him. Why was Hannah being yelled out by some random guy? She really didn't have a problem starting beef with people. They could probably be twice her size and she would still not back down. That was definitely something else.

With a few long strides he reached them. He didn't hesitant to get close. Standing near Hannah's side. "What do you think your doing, punk?" He snapped. Shoving the males shoulder, while sending a glare his way. Not a clue for what was going on, he didn't care about the details. It was almost instinct to step in. He wasn't one to ask questions. Often, doing this for his friends, even though they probably wouldn't do the same for him. Probably throwing him under the bus, or leaving him to fight their battles. Of course, Hannah wasn't a friend though. He was mostly inserting himself in the situation because she was his ride. The quicker they could resolve this, the fast he could get to the school to pick up his car.
