"Looks like we are both getting baby fever," I said with a chuckle. I trotted over to the pond in the enclosure and got some mud so it would stick together. When I was finished I laid down in it to test it out.

I spun around to see Nightmare looking over my shoulder into my nest. I laughed a nervous laugh before following her to the little pond. I got some mud just as she did and went to finish my nest. Soon everything was in place and i sat down in it, making it truely mine. After a minute or two i spoke up, "You dont mind if i have eggs too right? And a mate if i get a chance?"

"I suggested it earlier didn't I?" I asked tilting my head "But yeah, I'm completely fine with it. We could help each other raise them," I said cheerfully, then I heard the summoning call from Alpha. "I should probably go, they will put a small flying thingy in the pen to observe our den. Alpha will probably inspect it himself in person," I said stepping out of my nest and trotting off. "you don't have to follow since you aren't trained to listen to commands but you are welcome too!"

I smiled at Nightmare's answer. I always felt so leary about having eggs. I always felt like i wouldnt be able to protect them but with Nightmare i know i can do it. Just then i heard another whistle and for some odd reason i felt myself getting up with Nightmare. "I-ill come..." I said quietly before following Nightmare. Even i wanted to stay i couldnt, something in my brain said go. In the back of my head the call seemed familar but i shook it off as we arrived by alpha- i mean by Nightmare's alpha. I stood farther back than Nightmare but closer than i could believe.

"Recall worked better than expected..." Alpha said starting to turn on the drone in the enclosure. The drone turned on and followed us to our den along with Alpha.

"We should start decorating things to be how we want them," I said to Forest walking over and rearranging things. Alpha and the drone wandered around occasionally hearing Alpha talk to himself.

After going to Nightmare's alpha we headed back to the den with Nightmare's alpha and the drone following us. The drone was kinda loud and anoyying but i just kept quiet. I then turned to Nightmare and nodded before begining to decorate/rearrange around my nest. I wanted my nest to be perfect for the eggs and hopefully a new mate. Once in a while i would hear Nightmare's alpha talk to himself but i just ignored it. I then turned to Nightmare, "Why does your alpha need to see our den?"

"He's inspecting everything, this place wasn't exactly designed to hatch babies in. If the inside of the den was lower than the ground, it could get water in it and drown the eggs. So he has to check over small things like that, after they hatch it is all up to us." I said smiling and moving around a bunch of soft ferns to sit on in my nest. "The drone scans everything, I'm pretty sure other humans can see out of it and the thing in Alpha's ear helps him communicate with them. The drone scans for possible issues in the walls, so a babe couldn't get out through a hole we can't fit through." I said smiling. I moved a few large rocks to block part of the entrance to the den. It would be easier to manage the hatchlings, there would be only one place to exit and not the entire cave entrance.

"Oh, that makes sense," I said with a smile. "I didnt realize that humans cared so much for our young." I then grabbed some large rocks too and helped Nightmare make only a smallish entrance. "Im so excited! My first eggs!" I then grabbed some smaller rocks to fill in the smaller gaps of the small rock wall.

I giggled at her reaction, "They care so much because we are expensive and unique. Each new generation has new traits like Zier had little spine-looking things. He is the newest Military Raptor hybrid that wasn't a flop, they just said his only issue is his temperament and listening skills. So they will probably try to pair him with a well-behaved female. If it doesn't work out they will probably just combine his DNA with a female's DNA in the lab." I said going on a long rant, "Sorry, I learned most of the human language with my time here. So understand most things they say, bigger words are more difficult but after hearing them a few times I know what they mean."

I didnt understand what most of Nightmare said but i did understand the basics. I also understood another thing. "Its fine, but your a well-behaved female," I said with a giggle before examining the cave to make sure i liked everything.
