"Cover your ears." Harlow orders, before firing off a few warning shots. She felt it. Almost in the ground, felt the silent footsteps. "Y-yeah. Let's go." With a quick look around, she starts off, trying to stay close to Eclipse. |

Eclipse woke up suddenly, extremely alert. Even Aspen was. She looked around, but nothing was wrong in her room. She sat up, quickly getting off the bed and exiting the room. She looked in Harlow's room, but nothing was wrong in there, too. She heard Aspen start to bark, signaling her to where to go. So she went to check the other parts of the house. Everything was strewn about, like something - maybe someone - had been searching for something. "Harlow? Are you there? What happened here?" But there was no answer... Where was she? "Harlow? This isn't funny!" -Flashback- "These are two of my kind's promise bracelets. If you ever need me, place a drop of blood in the locket. My blood's already in there. Once your blood is in there, I will be able to know where you are once you call out my name in your head. Use this if you are in trouble. I will come... I promise." -End of Flashback- "That's right! The promise bracelets!" |

Harlow couldnt remember anything. Everything was fuzzy, she couldn't think straight. When she finally snapped to her senses, everything was still off. Damnit. I wonder.. This wasnt just a dream, and the voices were back. She couldnt see, but she could hear the jumbled words that did nothing to make sense in her hazy mind. What can I even do now? She knew there was something, but she just couldn't remember. |

Eclipse waited. And waited. And waited... But nothing ever came through. So she went outside to see if the animals knew something. She tweeted to the birds, barked to the foxes, wolves, and coyotes, and various other things. They all had no idea, except a couple had responded with some strangers came and then came out, then they vanished. It looked like they were carrying something, but I couldn't really see what as it was night and I was supposed to be sleeping. Eclipse was turning desperate. Then she remembered something else. She had pricked Harlow's finger when she was asleep and put it in her own locket! She shifted the bracelet so that the locket was against her wrist, then put her wrist against her heart. Harlow! Can you hear me? Are you there? Eclipse tried calling out with her mind to see if she could sense the other. |

Harlow swore she could hear something, something familiar. Eclipse? Is that you? She figured that if she did the same thing the other did, maybe it would work. Just maybe... I cant anything. It's dark. It was pitch black, how could she tell anything. . She herself was kind of getting desperate to get away. It felt like a dream, but it didnt at the same time. Nothing made sense anymore, did it? |

Eclipse heard an answer, and for the love of the sacred stars above, was she relieved. She sighed in relief. Yes, it's me. I'm going to need you to keep your mind open, I'm coming to find you. Keep thinking of me or things we do together. It'll help me find you. I know it's hard, but you gotta fight so I can help you, okay? She opened her eyes and stood up, looking at Aspen. "Be a good girl and stay here, okay? I'm gonna go and get her back." Eclipse ran out the door, Shifting as she ran. She chose to shift into the creature she uses for battle. The Dragon. Oh, were these bastards unfortunate... Taking flight, she flew in the direction that the mind link was telling her to go in. |

Harlow was struggling to even stay awake at this point. I'm trying.. but I'm tired.. She kept trying her hardest to keep herself awake, but it was just so hard. Thoughts flew through her head- but at least they were ones that might be beneficial. . I'm bleeding. |

I know, I know, just hang in there. I'm close. I'm only a few miles away. Eclipse held onto the mind link, her heart beat almost stopping. Her eyes widened with fear. You're... what? Eclipse flew faster, urging herself to go faster so that she could reach Harlow before it was... too late. Hold on! I'm almost there! She saw a fairly large building up ahead, and aimed herself at it. But- that looked too suspicious. It looked like a decoy! The real place was probably hidden underground then. I'm almost to you! Fight for me, okay? I need to know where you are. |
