Magdalene watched as a small rowboat slid out from behind the peninsula, "Meet at Shark Point Village," The place was a pirate trading post, and all crews had to promise peace, otherwise they'd be targeted and attacked if they got near the post again, "Two nights from now... at sunset. The two of us and our seconds will meet at the bar on the north side. I'll make sure it's empty." Magdalene's crew rowed in, tossing a rope that the pirate caught easily, and pulled the boat in. Magdalene looked over her shoulder at the pixie, her long, dark hair also being tossed over her shoulder, "Deal?"

Carwne nodded, her eyes resting on the crew that had pulled up. "Fine by me, I'll see you then." The pixie smirked, excited for the prospect of treasure. She pulled back into the forest and climbed up a tree to relax while she waited for her crew.

Magdalene hopped nimbly onto the boat, not even causing a disturbance. The men on the boat eyed the pirate on the shore, surely recognizing who it was. But, the men were loyal to Magdalene, and without their captain giving the command, the men simply rowed away. Madalene stayed standing at the helm of the small boat, and called back to Carwen, keeping her voice low so the village wouldn't hear it, "I do hope you realize what you've gotten yourself into, pixie."

Carwen smirked as she heard the other pirate's words. She knew exactly what she'd gotten herself into. A partnership with a mildly untrustworthy pirate and a good reward at the end of it all. It was exactly the kind of adventure that Carwen had been looking for,

Okay)) Carwen had taken the two nights to prepare her crew, explaining to them exactly what was supposed to happen and telling them the arrangements she'd made for them while she and a few others would be out. Northcliff made no move to oppose Carwen, and neither did the rest. Treasure was treasure, and they'd all get some of it. That was the way of pirates, trusting the captain was normal, and if they didn't trust the captain, a new one would be chosen. But they all trusted Carwen. So they appeared at the docks of Shark Point Village, pulling in and docking with the ease that came with the job. Carwen exited soon after the ship docked, she never wore her bright outfits and dresses when she was on her ship, or when she wasn't trying to charm someone. So instead of wearing her normal outfits, she was wearing brown trousers and a white tunic tucked into the trousers. She looked much different than normal, and with Northcliff beside her, the two looked rather fierce and very, very deadly.

Magdalene and her crew had gone to the village the night before after explaining the plan. Their ship had been brought back to its hideout. They had rented lodging in an inn, and had their gear and trunks packed. No one knew how long of a voyage it would be. Every pirate was allowed to pack one trunk full of whatever they wanted, but needed to be reasonable. Who knows what would happen to the stuff in there. So, everyone packed lightly, with just changed of clothes and weapons. Haywood, her second, had a slightly heavier trunk. Magdalene would not put her maps in her own trunk, as that one is likely to be searched. Instead, she hid them in Haywood's. - The sun was going to set in minutes. Already it was falling below the horizon at very fast speeds. Haywood and Magdalene headed out to the bar on the north side. She had arranged earlier for the bar to be empty, save for the bartender, but he could be paid off easily, and knew better to blab his mouth about pirate secrets. Haywood was around Magdalene's height at 6'4, but with much broader shoulders.

Carwen's more important things had been hidden away on the ship, as not a single crew member trusted Backstabber to keep out of their things. Her crew that was to leave the ship, had already left, headed for another village on the beach where they'd made arrangements to stay. The only people remaining on board were the people who would also embark on the journey. A few people had gone out to stock up on supplies, for no one knew how long this journey would last. Carwen approached the bar with Northcliff beside her, both of their faces stoically calm. After a moment, Carwen opened the door, Northcliff behind her as they entered with wary eyes.

Magdalene was sitting sideways on a barstool, so she wouldn't have to turn and look when Carwen entered. There was an empty glass beside her, but her eyes were firm and did not waver. Haywood sitting beside Magdalene with a filled glass beside him, and guestured towards the open seats whrn Magdalene didn't say anything. He called for the bartender in a deep, gravely voice, who came out to take the two new customers orders.

Carwen and Northcliff approached the table, the second looking at Magdalene with an intense gaze. After sliding into the seats across from the other two pirates, Northcliff ordered some strong ale while Carwen ordered water. Pixies did not stomach alchol well, and got drunk very easily. Carwen would not allow herself to be anything but fully aware tonight. She could party once her crew was well paid with treasure.
