Tristan woke up with his face smashed into a pillow. He sat up blearily, wondering why he felt excited. Hadn't yesterday been awful? Then the events of the evening hit, and he grinned, and got ready for the day, hurrying to the Mess hall.
He knew he'd be a bit late, and expected everyone to already be there when he got there, but Adina still wasn't there.

Echo had sat down at the table already, feet propped up on the chair next to her. On her other side, Ajax stared at the ceiling in a mix of impatience and excitement. They both looked at the doorway of the room when they heard a noise, and saw the male angel. "Great! Now we just have to wait for the other angel." Echo said, waving her hand sarcastically. Tristan sat in a chair as far away from the demon girl as he could get, the distaste evident on his face. "Have either of you seen Adina this morning?" Just as he said it, the petite angel walked into the room, light, feathery wings folded behind her.

Echo's piercing glare gazed lazily at the two angels and she smirked. "Finally, the doves have joined us! Now, can we eat or do you have to say grace for us or something?" Ajax shot a glance at Tristan and stood up. "Well, before we eat, Tristan and I have something we need to say."

Tristan gritted his teeth. He was so so glad he wouldn't have to marry her. He nodded, and stood next to the demon, and started presenting the plan.

Echo listened to the males as they laid out the plan. She had to admit it was a smart idea. The adults would get what they wanted, and so would the demons and angels in the complex would too. "I'm in," Echo said immediately after the two of them finished.

Trsitan gave her a small smile, appreciating her quick agreement. Adina looked far less enthused, and was biting her lip. "Won't the adults find out? And be really angry?" She looked worried, and Tristan shifted uncomfortably. The plan would only work if they all agreed.

Echo glanced at the female angel. "Alright, here's what's happening. We all saw the look on your face during the meeting. We all know you don't want to marry Ajax over here." She pointed at her friend. "And he had a very good point earlier. Why should we be the ones to clean up their mess? They get their 'perfect little couples' for the public, and they'll leave us alone. And if they get angry? So what! They don't control us. I get angels are supposed to follow the rules and be all noble and stuff, but for once, think of what YOU want. You, not them."

Tristan looked hopefully at the girl, but she kept her gaze down. "I'll think about it," she muttered, and got up to go. Tristan grabbed her wrists, and pulled her to a corner, giving her more excuses and ideas. Finally, she nodded. "Alright. But only for the sake of the demons, so that they'll be happy."

Echo leaned back in her chair, satisfied when she saw the angel girl nod. "So we're really going to do this, huh?" She smirked. Ajax chuckled. "Yep."
