One of the men took the keys while another went to grab water, finding plenty of bottles. They raced outside, hearing the car engine reve. The other stayed near Chandler and Amara, still not trusting the other male. He saw Amara stir slightly before she mumbled a single word that made his eyes go wide. "Mate" was all she said before she went quite again. Concidering he himself had a mate, that only left Chandler. "You dont have a mate do you" he asked, his eyes somewhat narrowed as he started walking outside, keeping an eye on their surroundings.

He held her carefully and tried not to jostle her to much. He head rested on his shoulder and her bare arms folded over chest. Whenever their skin touched he felt like he was being shocked, like static electricity. He heard her mutter something and hushed her gently. "Just relax." He could feel the man watching him. "No, why do you ask? Cause this is TOTALLY the best place for that." He laughed a little as he put her in the back seat, went to the trunk to grab the first aid kit and went back in the back seat with her. He made sure she rested across him and the other guy in the back, while the other two sat up front. Able to take a breath he checked his watch. "12:15. You guys did good. I'll see to the injuries she sustained the best I can with this supplies. But do try to get to your pack house as fast as you can." He moved her arm to him, careful not to touch any inflicted area. *She put up a good fight Chandler, you got her out in time* He looked at her wrists which showed plenty of sighns of struggle and fighting back. He grabbed the water bottle and lifted her head. "Wake up. I can't have you drown fr a bottle of water now." He kept his voice low to not startle her and he held the bottle to her lips. "Water. Drink it slowly." He hoped this proved what he said by the fountain, he was sorry for his parents actions and was nothing like them. Edited at May 9, 2022 08:59 PM by AppleBottomJeans

The male got into the back with Chandler before he spoke. "I know you heard her just like I did. She said Mate" he said somewhat coldly, making the other two look back in a confused way before one started driving. "I was the only one in there with you and I have a mate myself." He went quiet as he saw Amara slowly opening her eyes. He worried for their Luna, though he knew she was stronger than she was able to see herself. . Amara blinked her eyes open, hardly seeing much as she felt wa water bottle touch her lips. Slowly she tried to sit up as she drank, though didnt last long before she felt weak again. "T-thank you" she managed to say. She winced as she felt the car go over a pot hole and clenched her fists into the car seats, ripping them as her nails turned into claws. "W-who ever owns the car, I will pay for that" she barely managed to say as she looked around. "W-where are we" she asked. She heard one of her pack members speak. "On our way home young Luna." She gave a small smile before she closed her eyes again.

He kept his head low as he spoke loudly. "I did hear her, and there's no possible way, even if it's true just worry about it later." He sighed, knowing they where likely to tell their pack now. He felt the death stares they where giving him. *of all people, of all the times to say that.* He looked at the driver as he kept going. . His focus changed when she tried to move. "There, should help you feel a little better." He lowerd his voice and softend his tone as she apologized. She tried to move now "No no no, stay put." In her shuffling the driver went over a hole and she tore the back of the driver seat. "Don't worry about it. This car can just have seat covers put over it." In saying so he told her she was in his car, being saved by him. "That's right, your going he now. We will be there by dawn." He kept his window up and looked around, making sire they weren't being followed. "I need your arms to check if your wolf is healing you." He moved her a to his eyes slowly amd saw it fixing itself. Very very slowly, but healing itself. He took a towelette from the first aid bag and opened it. "This may burn just a tad." He put it over the wounds to clean them out.

Amara winced once more as she felt something on her wrists. *Stop fighting* Alya told Amara. *Our mate is helping.* She clenched her fists once more before she slowly seemed to relax. It had seemed that Chandler talking to her helped. Looking over she saw one of her pack members making a call. "Yeah, we have her. We are on our way" he said. "We have, uh, an interesting development too. Um, I will have to explain in person. Not over the phone. Just make sure the doctors are ready" he said before he hung up. Slowly her eyes looked back at Chandler, remebering what he said at the fountain. "Y-you really did mean it didnt you" she asked as she watched him. Slowly she forced herself to sit up not feeling comfortable laying down anymore.

He made sure not to put to much pressure on the wound caused by silver as he cleaned it. Removing and small particulates so it could heal properly. He heard the guy on the phone and his soul sunk. *We are so screwed Menadite. I think we should kill all of them amd just go home* he was panicking and went to violence as a default. *no you dunce baboon. This is good. It will build trust and better relations while also building territory. It will be fine.* He could feel Menadite getting tired and cranky. *rest, stop being an asshole. We will be fine.* looking out the windshield all he saw was woods and road. He leaned forward. "Thank you for not telling them just yet." As he leaned back she got up and sat up. He watched her carefully and was ready to catch her. "You need to be careful. Your severely injured, dehydrated, and have basically been starved." He let her slowly lean into the seat and sit up straight. He soon realized she was in the dress whe had worn a week ago, but it was all torn and tattered and nasty. He took off his jacket to cover her a bit more. He took a moment before answering her question. "I am many things; violent at times, a stubborn jerk, and willfull. Those where all thought to me. One thing I am not is a liar, that I learned on my own." He looked at her face, checking for injuries. "You need to sleep. We all do." He paused. "If you three can do rotation on who drives that would be fabulous." He moved the seats back and into the trunk for an open bed like space and laid down. "If you need anything wake me up." He rolled to his side to give her room and fell sleep, ignoring the jostling of the car.

The male looked back at Chandler. "It's not exactly something to be telling over the phone" he said somewhat coldly, though when he got a nasty look from Amara he looked forward, all three males doing quiet. While none of them were pleased, he was still her mate unless Amara and Chandler rejected one another, but even then a second chance mate was almost never heard of. It worried them that if Amara rejected him, she would be without an alpha for one, and the pack might end up with no heir. Amara's cheeks turned slightly red when Chandler placed his jacket on her. "T-thank you" she managed to say before she closed her eyes. The car ride was nearly silent after that the rest of the way home. The only sound was the wind and the road. Just before they arrived, Amara had slightly moved in her sleep, placing her fingertips on Chandler's back. Once they reached the pack house, one of the males tapped Chandler's shoulder before another carefully pulled Amara out of the car. She was still out as they walked into the pack house and towards the hospital area.

He stayed quiet as she laid down and tried to ignore how much her breathing was labored. He fell asleep easily and didn't remember much of the ride. When they got there he felt a warm hand on his back and then someone else tap him. He looked uo and yawned, slightly out of it. He scooped her up again warily and followed the three of them to what they said was the medical area. Before they all went in he gave a reminder. "If you could not tell everyone, let her do it when she's better. For now it's no one's concern." When the doors opened he was greeted with a stretcher, cold stares, and nervous energy. Like they blamed him for her being taken. He moved his jacket to more drape over her and hide her remaining wounds from the majority of the pack. He followed the stretcher as it got taken into the medical side before he was stopped. He rubbed his eyes still tired and yawned. "Has anyone made coffee?" He asked and then his stomach growled. He hadn't eaten since they left yesterday before noon. He slowly made his way to one of the chairs in the kitchen and slumped into it. "I hope it's alright if I just wait here." He slowly leaned onto the table and back to sleep, to tired to worry about hunger or coffee. Edited at May 9, 2022 10:15 PM by AppleBottomJeans

One of the males looked at Chandler, following him to the kitchen. "Look, the Luna finding her mate was not something we expected so soon, especially since it just so happened to be you" he said a little coldly. "We cannot just sit here and let the pack not know, otherwise they will rip you apart, weather you helped us or not." He watched as an omega happily brought over coffee and cups, along with some breakfast before heading to feed the others. "You dont know her like we do. Now my concern is, what happens to the packs if you two decide to accept the bond? Merge? One pack becomes rouges?" A Luna from one pack and an Alpha from another being mates had never happened before, but then again, a pack didnt have just a Luna to take care of them the way this pack had needed them to.

He moved up and set straight in the chair when the coffee was brought. He gave a tired smile as a thank you. He poured himself a cup and sipped it. Listening to to him ramble on. He quickly grew tired of him. "Oh, and I'm certain that's something you would all love to do. Tear me limb from limb and laugh as I bleed out." He retorted in the same tone he had been given, cold and judgmental. "What, you don't like being spoken to like your parents are scolding you? Then mind your tongue." He sighed knowing this bickering wouldn't get them anywhere. "It's almost like you think I planned to be here, planned to be her mate. Rest assured I don't want to be in this position either." He stood up and paced around still tired but trying to get moving. He never handled stress well, and this wasn't just stress, it was burdensome. "If you all would understand I hate my parents just as much if not more then you. They have been punished for their crimes by me. Their advisors have been punished for encouraging them. And every member who participated has been punished." He looked at the man and grabbed the back of the chair, tired of having to pleed with all of them to just see where he is coming from. Sitting back down he took some deep breaths. "If you would just wait till she is healed from her wounds to discuss it as a pack. I just don't want her to come our of any major operation and have to deal with hell immediately. I'm certain you can see how that wouldn't be good for anyone?" He leaned his head back and closed his eyes, just trying to relax and stretch his back from how betlnt up he had to be in the car for so long. Edited at May 10, 2022 02:25 PM by AppleBottomJeans
