Rowan stopped tickling Nakia after a little bit, ruffling her hair fondly, "How long have you three been dying for that to happen? I see your pleased little faces," Rowan asked through her own huffs of laughter, the last part aimed at Hyll, who looked away hurriedly, although she remained smiling.

"Maybe a long time," Hyll replied shyly, and Rowan reached over to flick the nymph lightly, "About time we caught up then, eh?" Rowan tossed a happy grin over her shoulder at Alvaro, "Better late then never, I'd say."

Nakia took a long moment to calm down, causing Neo to smirk a bit as she tried to calm her breathing. He really did enjoy seeing his family look so happy, so carefree. With Alvaro so busy and stressed, (and, to be quite frank the family never really felt complete without Alvaro there) and the new threat of the pixies, it was nice to finally be together and be happy. It was an added bonus that Rowan and Alvaro had finally figured out their feelings for one another. Even without Nakia's constant badgering about how the two were head over heels for one another, Neo had figured it out by himself pretty quickly.

Alvaro grinned as the children smiled and laughed, it was so wonderful to see them all so happy, to be together, to forget that they were in danger even if it was only just for a moment. He was still reeling after the kiss, but one thing was quite sure, the kiss would not be the last, and Alvaro had something with Rowan. That was enough to make a broad smile appear on his face as Rowan looked at him. "As would I, it's a bit embarrassing how unsurprised you guys are. Was it that obvious?" Alvaro's ears colored as he spoke, ducking his head and hiding his face.

His question pulled a laugh from Neo's mouth, and soon the boy was laughing quite hard. That was perhaps the dumbest question he'd ever heard Alvaro ask.

Rowan leaned over Nakia to ruffle Neo's hair, and lightly push his shoulder, "You absolute goblin-children." She sat back, resting her weight on one arm, "Eat up your food. I am pretty sure there is a desert at the bottom of the basket that you'll like. I made it, and-" Rowan added on indignantly, seeing Hyll's grimace, "I actually can bake a few things pretty well. My mom taught me and my siblings how to bake the best savillum, which is, ah, the superior version to the Brit's cheesecake." Rowan had a fond look in her eyes, like she was lost in a memory, "The story isn't that interesting - but the point is there there is some in the basket."

Neo grinned at his mother as she pushed his shoulder, and his laughter still floated about even after he'd stopped, leaving a special kind of happiness in the clearing that Alvaro smiled at. The peacefulness of the scene before him was amazing, never had he really thought of having a family, and these children, these spectacular children, were practically his. Perhaps they had once had family of their own, they all had, but now they had each other, and that was something that Alvaro would never want to ever give up.

At the mention of sweets, even Alvaro's eyes lit up. He had always had quite the sweet tooth, and this cheesecake sounded quite delicious. Nakia was the one with the most dramatic reaction of course, and pretty soon she was inhaling her plate.
