Sam just nodded, trying to piece things together. He obviously she knew she wasn't from round here, which was easily helped with her confirming his suspicions. He cleared his throat, pushing himself away from the tree and walking with her, slow and steady. "Okay, why do you hide that tattoo on your neck?" He asked, looking into her soul and pointing directly at her neck where the tattoo lies. "I noticed it yesterday, but realised that it wasn't something I was supposed to see," he spoke, pushing his hands into his pockets and moving his gaze away from her and onto the ground infront of him.

She was amazed that Sam would ask about the tattoo first thing as they walked along the gravel path" Errr... the tattoo was a gift on my 20th birthday. I wanted it on my back where no one would see it, but dad insisted it be on my neck. " She sighed as she looked over at him before looking forward. " I dont regret getting it. Its part of who and what I am" those words would soon be stuck in Sams mind hopefully when they parted ways later. " D-Do you like it?" She asked nervously. She just hoped that he wouldnt go searching for reasons as to why people have dragon tattoos on their necks. If he or his father knew, Valerii and her father and his huge gang would be in very big trouble. Who knows what would happen to her or her father. Edited at August 22, 2023 07:15 PM by Queen Elsa

(Sorry I've been on holiday! I should've mentioned instead of leaving you wondering) Sam stopped in his tracks and examined the tattoo, his eyes scanning over her neck. His brows furrowed, not allowing any emotion dictate how he felt about her tattoo. It was interesting, but it was not his place to tell her he hated it or loved it. Sam just simply shrugged and his gaze snapped back to her eyes. "Sure, it's nice," he spoke with little emotion, before returning to his leisurely stroll. He continued walking, his gaze snapping back to the ground in front of him.

She grinned as she watched him look at the tattoo on her neck, thinking of what harsh thing to say to him. But what came out of her neck wa the total opposite. " thanks, Sam" she was speachless as the two continued on the loop. " Look. I know its not your place to ask where Im from, plus you might be a little scared to even ask....." she stopped, her hand just inches from his before her dark hazel eyes looked deep into his own. Hiding back something that looked like tears. " I might as well tell you... but dont tell anyone else.." She looked down, biting her lip ring before closing her eyes and said it " Im from the West End" she said before holding her breath ever so slightly. ( no worries )

Sam slowly stopped yet again, as she seemed to be speaking about something fairly serious. He scanned her eyes, an eyebrow cocking up at her as she spoke. When she revealed her secret, he just looked at her with a blank stare. "You think I'm scared, of you?" He asked, almost looking at her with surprise. Another shrug of his shoulders and Sam just simply smiled. "I ain't scared because you have a neck tattoo and you're from the West End," he said nonchalantly, adjusting his posture and his hand accidentally brushed across her palm. His breathing hitched slightly, before calming down again and glancing back to her, making eye contact.

Well this is strange she though as his hand touched her palm. Giving her a shock before slowing down her own breathing " S-Sam..." she said as she searched ehr eyes " Promise me you wont tell anyone you know.... no one can know" She wanted to bribe him somehow so that she knew he wouldnt tell a living soul.... but how?" She smirked before giving a little chuckle, moving the hand he touched to his back , pulling him to her, before pecking his lips, only to remember her lip ring and retracted once more, blushing.

Sam bit his lip as he thought about it. What was she hiding? He cleared his throat, parting his lips as he was about to speak but he was interrupted by her lips on his. His facial expression changed from suspicion to surprise, unsure what she had done that for. Sure, there was tension between them, and the kiss certainly released the tension. He pulled away when she did, cocking an eyebrow and a small playful smirk played on his lips. "Well if you wanted to kiss me, you could've just asked," he spoke, shrugging his shoulders a little and watching her intently.

And that was her que to go. " Im sorry... I..I should go.." her voice changed from brave to rather nervous in a flash. SHe picked up her bag she brought, looked into his eyes, searching for something. " Dont say a word to anyone i'm from the West End." she said, her voice cracking. " I'll prolly not be around much.. I.. have important business to get done at home.. so text me any time..." she gave him a little smile and took his hand in hers before jogging off back towards the West End, not looking back. Reaching the house in an hours time.

Sam's expression changed from playful to serious, a frown displaying on his face. He didn't mean to push her away, but it was obvious that he had done that to her. Before he could say anything, she was jogging away and out of sight. Sam grumbled in defeat and turned on his heels, walking away from the park and back toward his house. What an idiot, Sam. He huffed, pushing his hands into his pockets before he reached his home. He turned the key in the lock and opened the door. His father was still out of the house, probably trying to hunt down that gang. It was obsessive.
