Embry raised his hand once the professor had said his name, not saying here. He didn't like saying here to teachers so he raised his hand, hoping they would see. Another 2 hours of this before they had a break then their next class. "What class you got next?" Em said quietly looking at Knox.

"I've got soccer practice next. You?" Knox asked as he left the classroom making sure to hold the door open for Embry. He still needed to run up to the dorm to grab his bag that has his shoes and change of clothes for practice.

"I have art." Embry replied. He nodded, giving his thanks as he walked through the open door. "what are you doing for our break though?" He asked seeing as that he had nothing to do.

"Probably going to relax in the dorm. Or get something to eat." He said. He felt his phone vibrate in his back pocket but ignored it thinking it was one of his friends. " what are you going to do during break? " he asked. He phone stopped vibrating but then started going off again. He got slightly annoyed so he pulled out his phone to check who was calling him. The word mom stretched across the screen. "Shit." He said to himself. He normally didn't ignore calls from his mom and he had a feeling she would be annoyed

"Ah, im probably just going to chill in the dorm." He said. Some part of him hoped he would ask to go eat. He didn't want to ask he was too scared. Embry held the door to the dorm building as Knox took the call. He made sure to be quiet, not disturbing him.

He signed quietly before he answered. "Hey mom! Yeah I'm fine just walking back to the dorm with Embry." He responded back to his mom's questions. " um yeah. I'll check with Embry real quick. " Knox took a deep breath for a second before turning to Embry. "Hey um my mom would also like to talk to you for some weird reason. You don't have to though." He said to Embry kinda hoping he would say no.

Halfway up the stairs and Knox's mom wanted to talk to him. Why would his mom want to talk to me. He couldn't of said no, that would of just been rude. So of course he said yes. He smiled awkwardly as Knox handed him the phone. "Hi." He said nervously while still walking up the stairs.

"Hello! I'm planning on having Knox come home this weekend for dinner and I wanted to know if you wanted to join?" Knox was nervous about what his mom was saying to Embry. 'shit. What if she's telling him all my embarrassing baby stories. Wait why do I care if she does or not. Me and Embry are just friends. Right?' He thought to himself. 'what if she's just seeing how Embry is since its been a while?' He thought to himself trying to reassure himself that she wasn't saying to embarrass him.

"Yeah sure that would be great." Embry said then paused for a second. "Yeah it was great talking to you again." He said nicely as they got to their dorm. He handed the phone back to Knox and walked into their dorm, leaving the door open.

Knox took the phone from Embry and told his mom he'd come home this week. A couple minutes later he said his goodbyes to his mom and then hung up the phone. He sighed and walked into the dorm making sure to close the door behind him. "So what all did my mom say?" He asked Embry curious and hoping it wasn't the embarrassing stories.
