After a while, Magdalene stopped at a tall, sharp rock, and checked the perimeter of it, and stopped back in front of Carwen, "I let you hold onto the key. Now hand it over -" Magdalene looked calm, but her eye was stormy, and her other hand was conviently close to her sword.

Carwen was small but defiant and not at all scared by Magdalene's intimidation tactics. Her own pink eyes were fierce as she held the key behind her, a hand hovering just above the top of her boot, where she kept her sharp dagger. "Hell no. I got this damn thing out of that stupid tree. You could have never gotten it without me. I ain't giving you a thing with that attitude, let alone the fact that you are gonna take it and run off with it to get the treasure without me." Carwen glared harshly, her childish appearance disappearing just as easily as she had put the facade on.

Magdalene didn't really have any other attitudes other than mean and meaner. And so far, she'd only been mean. "Look pipsqueak. I want the treasure and I know where it is. You'd have never found it if it wasn't for me. So, give me the key." Magdalene spit out the last words with a snarl on her face.

The pixie frowned, anger turning her pale face an enraged pink. "Excuse you but you wouldn't have gotten this thing without me at all. Even if you had found it, it wouldn't have been of any use because none of you behemoth monstrosities have the power to get up that tree. It was made for a pixie to get, not your kind. If you aren't going to let me in on some of the treasure, I'll put this damn thing right back where I found it." Carwen's voice was filled with hot rage. There was no way in hell she was going to let this stubborn ass take all the treasure.

Magdalene looked like she was about to explode, "Fine. We split the treasure. I get 60% you get 40%, since I knew how to find it. You climbed a tree." That was an even more generous deal than her original 70% and 30%. The pixie wasn't a fool, annoyingly enough, and probably wouldn't have agreed to it anyways.

Carwen smirked, her eyes glimmering with contentment as she dangled the key in front of Magdalene's chest, as that was as high as she could reach. "Sounds like a deal to me, here's your key, and don't even think about running off with it, you'll be dead before you go two steps." Carwen winked as she dropped the keys into Magdalene's hand.

Magdalene glared at the idiotic pirate, "I may be a murder and a thief, but at least I keep my word... most of the time." She shrugged and went to the location of the small chest that was hidden underneath the roots of the tree. Magdalene dug it out, and unlocked the chest, pulling out a map. Standing up to tower over Carwen, Magdalene winked, just like the pixie had done to her, "Now, the real adventure begins."

Dusk had fallen and there was still no way the duo could leave the forest. The townspeople were on a wild goose chase, trying to find all the remaining pirates who had stolen so greatly from them. So Carwen had found herself sitting on the ground, dirtying her pretty dress as she relaxed for a bit, watching Magdalene from her cozy spot on the floor.
