Killian shook his head, "you saved me back there, granted you were saving yourself in the process but still. Thank you. For your own safety though, I must make a suggestion. You cannot return to that apartment. Those people now think you are my accomplice, you are not safe there." Killian was already regretting what he would say next, but it was practically law that he must at least throw the offer out for someone who had saved him. "If you want, I have a place you can go where you can continue your life unbothered and then you can return home once I've fixed this... problem." Ian was talking about the men, the other gang that he would have to kill off.

Rhys was already frowning, "No offense, but right before this you were going to kill me. I don't exactly trust you, and I highly doubt I'd live 'unbothered' like you say I would." He made sure to keep an eye on the portal, "And it'd take you a while to fix," Rhys shuttered a bit. He knew what happened to people in gangs, "The issue." Yet, he still needed a place, at least until he got a new apartment. He could probably do that in a few days, though, "I'll stay for about a week.... Thanks for the offer." Rhys didn't trust this guy, but he did like living. He checked his watch, "Shoot. The portal will be up soon. Better scram."

Killian nodded, his face void of anything other than a childish boredom. He didn't really feel great, though he would never admit that to anyone other than himself. Although he was powerful, using any sort of blood magic to help his primary ability sucked the energy right out of him. He supposed it was because some of his actual blood evaporated into the void once he used his magic. Not that he minded, it made him a formidable leader. "That is fine by me, and not trusting me is a very smart idea. I will hold to my word though, you will not be bothered while you stay in my rental house, and no I don't live at the house you are staying at. Its my extra house that I use for situations like this." Killian glanced up at the portal before looking back at flower boy. "Let's go then, I don't want to deal with those rats anymore," Luke practically growled his last words before figuring out where the hell they had ended up.

Rhys peaked around the corner, making sure not many people were walking past on the sidewalk, "We are by the center of town, across the street from the fountain. The city the two lived it was quite populated and modern, but the fountain in the middle was ages old. It was a well known and popular tourist spot. He stepped out onto the sidewalk, and shoved his hands in his pockets, "Where to... Uh... I don't know your name, so lets start walking away now so those other guys don't show up."

Killian nodded, tucking his hands in his pockets calmly. He looked particularly at ease, as one normally does when faced with danger regularly. "You can call me Ian, and I'll happily lead the way." Killian walked in front of flower boy with ease. "I've been refering to you as flower boy in my head. What's your actual name, though I'll probably continue to call you flower boy."

Rhys blinked hard, but in the end, decided there was really no other choice but to follow... Ian, "I'm assuming Ian isn't your real name then, huh? Whatever - I get it. And as for my name... If you are going to call me Flower Boy anyways, then what's the point? I don't have a lot of mystery to me, so might as well keep this." He huffed an internal laugh.

Ian shrugged, he still seemed a little tense but not enough to be noticable. "Well, technically it's a nickname and I go by it more than my real one. It's my street name, if you will. And Flower Boy it is." Ian didn't smile, he just generally seemed like an unhappy person, which was a very good assumption. Because he truly was unhappy. "And I don't know a thing about you, so technically you're a mystery to me. Though I can definitely assume a few things since you seem rather... normal." Killian spoke the truth, he was good at analyzing people.

"Hmm... What do you assume, then? I'll admit I'm rather curious how I appear to a..." Rhys didn't know what to call Ian. It probably wasn't best to call him a criminal, or a gang member, "Well, I'll be honest I don't know what to call you. I'm still curious though." Rhys wouldn't admit it, but every time Ian said 'Flower Boy,' he was trying not to laugh. It was so... soft... compared who Ian, who was anything but that. It made the walk more bearable.

Ian looked at Rhys with inquisitive eyes, he was obviously very smart, though that came with being a leader he supposed. "I'm not quite sure what to call myself either, though I suppose I am some sort type of criminal. Though I'm sure you've already figure that out." Ian sighed and took a deep breath before continuing. "You're relatively normal, you are a simple witch just trying to live life. Truthfully though, you wish that maybe things could be a bit more exciting than they are, especially with such a boring job. You daydream a lot and you're probably really smart but you just got a horrible deal with your job." Ian shrugged, "that's what I think at least."

Rhys choked back a laugh, "Ha! I almost flunked out of college twice. I'm not book-smart at all. Not sure how I even passed to be honest...." He thought through the rest of it, "That's pretty accurate, though, for the most part." Rhys was pretty much an open book, and it probably didn't take a lot to figure him out. Ian, on the other hand, seemed like a maze without an end.
