To be honest. Ekon was here on orders to kill Anasuri. He didn't want to, it was against what he believed in. But it was the orders from the Head Knight. He couldn't just ignore his orders, especially from such an insane man. So Ekon planned on killing Anasuri within four months. Once people started getting used to him and trusting him. It was just how the game worked. In return for his loyalty, Ekon would be taken to a person who knew how to resurrect people. Of course, it wasn't the greatest payment but Ekon needed his friends back. He needed them back so deeply, he would do anything to get Darlene back.

Anasuri led the way back to her room as soon as she could without being rude. Even so, it was on the borderline, and the elf would most likely get some sort of scolding tomorrow from some offended nobility. It was apparently annoying to people when Anasuri didn't bask in their presence. Not that she really cared.

Ekon had spent the rest of the night only speaking when spoke directly to. Shoving the conversation off to another knight so he wouldn't have to deal with anybody for long. The purple elf was only here for the food and drink. That was all. After this, he'd hit the hay. Finally, Anasuri said she was going to bed. Which literally meant he had to too. Which was fine by Ekon, he didn't want to be here any longer anyways. Ekon quietly followed her in the halls, as he was supposed to. Knowing well enough that being completely silent was unnerving, he allowed his steps to be heard. He needed Anasuri to trust him. At least a little bit. Slowly he got lost in his own thoughts. A small quirks of Ekon's, was that when he was lost in thought, a bracelet or two would come off and fuse together then hover next to his ear. From there, they would change into many different shapes and things. A rearing horse, a dog wagging its tail, a child laughing, a cloud, an easel. Things in his head that he didn't, no, wasn't, able to say.

Anasuri suddenly halted, and crouched down in the hall. Dava came lumbering around the corner, finished with her adventures for the day. The panda nuzzled up against Anasuri, gentle as can be, pressing her nose against the girls cheek. Dava murmured a, "Goodnight," to Dakota as Anasuri stood up and stretched out her leg while lifting the fabric of her dress slightly. The simple anklet was flashed for a moment as Dava his away, and for once that night, Anasuri smiled. That was before remembering the guard though, so her happiness dropped down like the fabric, and the princess hurried on.

Dakota enjoyed the company of Dava. As she was a very nice panda and someone Dakota could trust. Speaking of trusting, the huge bear knew Ekon was hiding something from him, though what it exactly was he was not sure. All the bear knew was that it had something to do with the princess. But Dakota wasn't sure, so he hadn't said anything yet, but he would if he had to. The bear lumbered over to Ekon and gently pushed himself against Ekon's leg. A signal to let him enter the necklace. And so he did. Then the two retired for the night in Ekon's room. The whole time, Ekon thinking of what in the world he was going to do with task.

Anasuri didn't go to sleep immediately. She mixed up harmless and simple potions on her small brewing area, humming softly to herself. The powerful and dangerous potions and ingredients were hidden away in the walls of the palace. The stuff here was child's play - remedies for headaches and sores, and calming brews, along with sleep potions. All of the 'excitement' of today had worn Anasuri down, and all she wanted to do was sleep, and never wake up again. So, she created a strong sleeping draught and released Dava, so the panda could sleep.

Ekon changed into his night wear. This meant he had double the bracelets on that he normally did. 3 were tight around his upper arm and 5 on each wrist. He sighed and plopped onto his bed. The movement making Dakota appear, sitting on top of Ekon. Ekon released a jumble of words, cursing the bear in his native language. A mixture of the high class words and his old wood tribe where they spoke a language called Ky-runlo. Dakota released a bear chuckle and hopped off his friend. "You big oaf. Don't do that. You could've killed us," Ekon spoke with sass but it was all in good fun. "Be quiet Ekon, you might wake the princess. And you must not speak our old language here. It is dangerous. Even though the war is over. It could still be our downfall kid," the bear spoke quietly. As Dava was right next door an could understand what he said. Not that he didn't trust her, but he didn't want word getting out. Even if Ekon's kind wasn't hunted anymore, it was still dangerous.

Said Princess was not asleep yet, but honestly didn't care what was going on. Dava was already asleep, and as Anasuri felt the effects of the potion taking hold, changed into sleepwear and crawled under her covers.
