Of course, the same exact thing was going through Addilyn's mind. Well not the exact same thing actually; the only thing the same was her worrying about Jason. It hurt him, that's what he had said. So, she tried pushing her own sad, angry, and painful thoughts out until her eyes too were filled with only worry for Jason. "How did that happen?" Addilyn asked, her voice small and quiet. As if worried that if she spoke any louder Jason would hear her wobbly voice.

"I don't know, Addi... I really don't know," Jason murmured, gently squeezing her hands in the rythem of his heartbeat. "But we'll find out, I promise. Or at least I'll try. I'm not the smartest, heh heh," Jason joked, trying to lighten the mood.

Addilyn tried for a smile and gently squeezed his hand before replying to him seriously. "You're very smart Jason, you don't give yourself enough credit." For a moment, the world was right, her with Jason somewhere safe. Safe and in his arms. Of course, that moment had to be ruined. Al had been planning to do something to Jason but more so now. Perfect opportunity since they were blocking the restroom. He could act like he had to go and just shove Jason out of the way. So he suddenly appeared behind Jason and shoved him hard against the wall. A smirk on his face.

Mistake number 1: Letting his guard down. Addi always allowed him to do that, to be relaxed and feel safe. Mistake number 2: Allowing someone to walk up to him. Jason has heard Al, but it never crossed his mind that someone would try to hurt him. Mistake number 3: Not carting his switchblade. He might have been at least able to cut Al up, the jerk. Mistake number 4: Not thinking about his enemies. Jason was so caught up in Addi, Addi, Addi, that he forgot Al hated him. Never relax around enemies. Mistake number 5: Standing there and taking it. Jason always fought back. Always. Why was this different? Why did his mind blank out?
Yikes. He winced, and looked up at the jerk who pushed him down. His head ached so badly, and he wasn't able to get up, to move that well, too sluggish, so he reached out and sucker punched the guy in the knee. Backwards. Smirking, he hoped it would crack.

Al stumbled back and fell but nothing cracked per say. Addilyn was disoriented for a moment, the sudden turn of events causing her to not react fast enough. Which was stupid. She should've protected Jason better. Of course, she hadn't expected it though, Al would've never tried to do that under normal circumstances. So why the hell had he done it now? "Jason!" Addilyn said as she finally pulled herself together as Al fell. Crouching down to be on Jason's level she looked him over, not touching though. "Are you okay?" Her green eyes were filling with intense worry and her expression showed she was angry. She would deal with Al in a few seconds. As soon as she knew Jason was okay.

One second, then two, tick by. He says nothing. Who is... Jason? And who is this person next to him? His instincts tell him to punch, but making enemies would be bad when he was injured. Besides, never hurt the innocent, never carry a gun unless it's for show, never steal unless needed. The mantra repeated in his echoing mind, though from where he did not know.

"Jason?" Addilyn said, concern beginning to lead way to panic. Looking up as footsteps approached, it was Ami. "What's happening?" Was the first thing the pretty girl said, her eyes wandering from Jason then to Al. "Go get Kaitlyn, please." A hint of anger made Addilyn's words seem harsher than necessary. When Amika didn't move right away Addilyn snapped, "now." That's when Amika finally moved away to go get the only actual doctor in the place.

He narrowed his eyes, anger and uneasiness glimmering brightly. "Take a step back right now. I'm may be on the ground but I can hurt you, alright. Who are you?" He shot out words, trying to recognize the face, but failing. His mind was strangely blank, to matter how he tried to remember.

A flash of horror crossed Addilyn's face as she scooted back. Praying to whoever was listening that Jason was just joking and this wasn't what she was beginning to think it was. "Jason, it's me, Addilyn. A-are you being serious? You would ne- Are you okay?" Addilyn tried to figure out how to speak again it seemed. Even Al looked concerned at Jason's sudden snappy attitude and threats towards Addilyn.

His gaze was sharp, and even though his head pounded, stood up to his full height of kinda short but not really. "Look, I have no idea who you are, or where I am, so step back until I can get some reasoning or whatever."
