Addilyn crept into the car, wincing as she pulled her ankle in. Closing the door quietly and fiddling with her backpack which she had set on the floor. Pushing a stray piece of hair away from her face, Addi's nail scraped against the ugly purple bruise on her cheekbone. Gritting her teeth, she forced herself not to pay attention to it. Sitting back up, she spoke, her voice neither soft or loud but a tone all its own. "Thank you for this. I'm going to be honest, I don't expect it. Though I am very grateful."

Jason woke up with a pant, shooting straight up. His icy eyes shifted, hard as they used to be. Then, he relaxed. He had momentarily forgotten where they were, and with the flash from the past.. Jason wasn't quite sure where he was upon waking. With the memories of his dreams with him, Jason knew he had to find Addi right that second. They needed to talk.

Addilyn had woken up 5 minutes before Jason and was currently in the restroom crying. She didn't want him seeing her like this. For so long she had been trying to forget about it. Her past. Her mom. Charlotte. And now that she had seen her past again she felt horrible. Tears slipped down her face, her black hair like a curtain hiding her face.

Jason hurried along the house he did-not-know-the-layout-of with a purpose. He had to find Addi. Walking into the kitchen, and not paying attention to where he was walking, resulted in Jason lightly bumping into Al. He murmured a halfhearted, "Sorry," then continued on his search.

Al seemed thoroughly annoyed by this and growled softly as Jason continued on. He was going to get that jerk back later for sure. Addilyn's muffled cries only made it a bit through the door thankfully. Hopefully she would be able to hide the tears soon enough and her friends wouldn't see her weakness.

Jason refused to give up his search, and evrything in him was focused on Addi. Poor, poor Addi. Jason hadn't know about her mom, and he knew that seeing everything again was hard for her.

Addilyn slowly calmed herself repeating to herself that she would be fine. Taking a look at herself in the mirror, she winced at her own puffy cheeks and red eyes. She looked like she had been crying, tears still looked like they were going to come down. She'd be okay though, hopefully nobody would be staring at her. She exited the restroom and ran straight into Jason. Looking up at him with dark green eyes.

Jason immediately wrapped his arms around Addi, and kissed her head. "Im sorry," he murmured into her hair, "I love you." He murmured a few other soft words, then released her to look at her face. Worry was etched across his face, and Jason lightly touched her swollen cheeks.

Addi had immediately wrapped her arms around Jason as soon as she knew it was him. "I love you too," she said quietly as she buried her head into his chest. Of course that was until he pulled away to look at her. Slowly becoming conscious of her appearance.

"It hurt me too," Jason whispered, thinking back. He had been such as ass, arrogant and reckless. Then there was his father who never even cared that he was in prison. Or didn't know. Didn't care enough to know. Jason smiled, though there was no happiness in it, and pushed himself out of his selfish thoughts and focused on the more important matter: Addi.
