There was no way Addilyn would make it to her apartment with this horrible limp that got worse and worse with each horrid step. When someone pulled up beside her and shouted at her to get in, she didn't argue. Jumping in with a sudden sense of deja vù. She closed the door and released a soft groan as her sprained ankle sent waves of pain up her body. Finally, she looked to her savior to thank him, but she almost sprang out of the car. It was Jason. Gathering her thoughts, she really hoped this had been a good decision. "Thanks, I don't think I would've gotten very far if you hadn't appeared." Addilyn tried her best at a weak smile though it quickly disappeared.
Had Addilyn always looked so pathetic? How had Jason ever fallen for the girl next to him? She was so much more innocent and less cautious than this new her. It was so odd to see herself like this.

Jason gave a small flash of a smile, then floored the gas pedal. He got them far away, then turned to Addilyn, "If You hadn't had a bum ankle, I think you would have been fine. Where do you need to go? I'll drive you there," he said briskly, though there was a twinkle in his icy blue eyes.
Jason felt a small pang. Had he really seemed that threatening?

Addilyn hadn't really moved much since she got in the car. She seemed as tense as she had been when she was running away from the danger. Now she was sitting here with the danger. She'd been in multiple run ins with his "gang" and knew them well enough that she was outmatched in hand to hand combat. As he had said though, there was no way she could jump out of the car as that would result in something worse than a sprained ankle. What would Thomas tell Addilyn to do? Stay calm, go with the situation but get away from the untrustworthy as quick as possible and find Carson. "The military training camp please. Thanks again." She said this a bit rushed, not wanting to say anything wrong though the whole military thing probably already rang warning bells in Jason's head.
Addilyn remembered how scared she had felt right now. Like a cornered animal ready to fight or flee at any time. Her little heart pounding in her chest. Telling herself it would be fine. And it would. Eventually Addilyn would be happier than she ever had been before.

He just nodded, and continued driving. He was totally at ease. They reached the base, and he looked over at her, "If you want, I can stay here and drive you back. Those jerks are probably still there." Jason wasn't stupid, and knew that his gang was no better. But they had morals. No weapons unless the other instigated the fight, and no stealing from randos. He will admit to having stolen, yes, but tried to force someone else into giving up items? That was not them.
Jason hadn't been aware Addi had been so nervous. But, he figured it would have been worse if he tried to reassure her. Made her suspicious.

For a split second, Addilyn looked rather confused but she wiped the expression away quickly. "Are you sure? I wouldn't want to burden you with driving me here then back again. Especially since you don't even know me and I could be in there for and hour or two tops." Addilyn was now curious though didn't show it. Jason actually wanted to help? A slight suspicion arose but she pushed it back down. Maybe for once he was going to be nice or something? She didn't really know. Her bright green eyes drifted back and forth between Jason and the building where the camp was located. Pushing a stray strand of black hair behind her ear. She would have to tie it up again later. The running had made it come loose.
Addilyn listened to Jason's thoughts with a bit of interest though didn't want to pry. By now, she knew that she was beginning to slightly trust Jason. But only slightly.

Jason shrugged, "I have no plans. And no one cares if I'm home or not," No one cares about me at all, his brain added, though there wasn't any malice there. "You better go. Oh, and here." Jason reached back and handed Addi and unopened bottle of Asprin. "To help with the pain. And I don't think you'd trust me if it was open:3ed."

Addilyn let her surprise appear in her eyes this time. They turned a bit more blue than green when she looked surprised, though she didn't know why. Gently taking the bottle from Jason's large hands. "Oh, uh thanks. I really appreciate everything you've done. I'm probably going to say that again when I get back in the car but you've saved me a trip to the doctor's or possibly the hospital. I don't really know. But thanks." Addilyn took and Asprin then put the bottle back in Jason's hand before opening the car door and sliding out silently. The door to the camp opened and one of Addilyn's more nicer companions opened it. "Malik is gonna kill you. He's dying to test out the arrow prototypes and your about the only one who can do it without hurting yourself." The girl smirked and Addilyn nodded. Racing inside to the locker room and beginning to change into the uniform.

Shoot shoot shoot. Changing. And bathroom. Shoot. Jason put a mental censor. Didn't work well.
In the car, Jason leaned back and took a nap.

For the next two hours, Addilyn was in her zone. Hand to hand combat training was followed by her personal training with the prototypes. She was to advanced for the regular other classes, so instead she had her own personal classes. Addi practiced at home with her own wooden bow and arrows that Malik let her take. He'd new explosive arrows were amazing. Addilyn did twice the damage with them. She was sweaty by the time she got back to the locker room. Only rinsing off her face after she changed back into her clothes. At home she would take a shower. Tying her shoes quickly and walking out the front doors.
Addilyn tried her best to avoid catching any of Jason's personal thoughts though it didn't work. She didn't know how Jason did it.

He woke up as Addi walked out, always alert. He had moved his car off to the side, but he now turned on the lights so she would be able to see him. Once she was in the car, he looked her over, "Good night of training?" He said lightly, keeping his eyes on the road. He honestly couldn't care less about the style of others hobbies. Just that they enjoyed it. It didn't matter to him he was driving home a person who could have turned him in while she was in there. He had taken a huge risk. This girl could have easily turned him into the military people there, but she didn't.
Jason slightly screamed. Just slightly.
