really? i always thought it had to do with litter size, lol. that makes a lot more sense, though.

(when i first joined, i thought it was to increase the chance of passing on the parents' traits to the offspring, so i guess i've just been confused about this forever.)

pup gender is completely random. charisma just makes males have more pups in a litter (max 3, unless the female has Matron's Blessing or a dandelion is used on the female)
