"That's pretty interesting." Kage smiled. "Fog doesn't burn by natural fire, or clear it. Maybe the fire manipulated by pyrokinetics can burn or clear through natural fog but natural fire doesn't clear any type of fog, umbrakinetic manipulated or not. I've never fought with a pyrokinetic so I've got no idea if it can burn through natural fog." Kage made the katana disappear and add to the pool of shadow once again. He linked it with the princess' own shadow. Kage disappeared momentarily, turning into and merging with the shadows before slowly reforming behind Ruina. "That's pretty awesome that you knew the correct answer for what it was called. Not a lot of people use that ability unless they're in an intense fight." Kage grinned. "And most enemies wouldn't care about the name of the ability."

"I don't know from experience." Ruina states,"My brother has fought an umbrakinetic, and he's the one who told me." She has fought many people, mainly elementalist though. She hadn't been sent on a mission out of the nation. There also wasn't that much fog around Kheloes, it usually stayed pretty clear. So, everything she knew about umbrakinetics came from books, or from her brother who had come face to face with one.
Surprise flickers across Ruina's face as Kage disappears, another one of his abilities. She turns as she hears Kage behind her, raising an eyebrow. "What can I say, my parents liked to make me and my brother study. A lot." She grimaces, remembering all the times she'd wanted to go out and play, but instead, she'd been forced to sit in a room and listen to lectures.
Lecture, after lecture, after lecture. Not that Ruina had retained all of it, but she'd retained most of it, and for now, that was all she really cared about. Remembering enough that it would keep her alive, but not remembering all of it.

Kage began to clear the fog, back to it's normal amount at least. It started slow, and stayed a slow process so that if somebody was watching it was less obvious that Kage was doing something. ♧ Obviously, the princess would know because he had made that obvious to her when he made the fog thicker around them. ♧ "Is it a pryokinetic thing to fight a lot? You both seem to get into a lot of fights." Kage himself had gotten into a lot of fights as well, but mainly with criminals from his own kingdom to keep them in line. "There's more things I can conjure, surely you know that. When I get fidgety I'll probably use the ability unintenionally." He stepped back once the fog was thin enough for them to see where they were going. ♧ Kage, being a prince who barely ever did anything except train, hadn't studied a lot. He assumed he would find out what he needed to in the moment and didn't bother with the books he had been given. Sometimes, Calista and Annalise would be on the way to their classes and Kage would catch a few words and learn a few things on the way to his own training. He had learned a lot from people during his dealings, but.. not things such as the abilities from other kingdoms. ♧ "Would you like to head back? I'm sure your companions are wondering what's taking so long, and where you've been." Kage turned to the direction of the castle. ♧ "If you want to learn more about the abilities of umbrakinetics, it's more likely to be learned while in battle or sparring, so not a lot of it will be learned by demonstration."

Ruina observes quietly as the fog slowly begins to move away, making it a little clearer. She looks around for a moment, before returning her attention to Kage, a small smile flickering across her face. "Erm, kind of." She shrugs, amusement flickering through her eyes,"Pryokinetics are very hotheaded." She chuckles to herself at her joke before continuing,"But, both my brother and I have jobs that require fighting of some sort." Her brother, who was not only the heir prince, was also the admiral of the armies. While Ruina was a part of MI6, Kheloes' version of a secret service. So, Ruina was essentially a spy.
Ruina nods at Kage's words, she could tell that he used the ability as a sort of fidget toy. She didn't blame him. When she got bored, she played with her fire. Kept her entertained and in boring meetings, if she could angle herself where no one could see her, then she could usually get away with it. Ruina glances up towards the castle as she turns towards it. "Sure." Thaola, Tarron, and Einarr would definitely be looking for her. Thaola, because she was nosy and would to know what had happened. Tarron, just because he was tagging along. Einarr, because the guard hated letting Ruina out of his sight for long.
"I believe I know a decent amount about umbrakinetics, it's more of the demonstrations that fascinate me." Ruina answers, flashing a small smile towards Kage.
(Sorry this is so late^^ Life kinda picked up again and kicked me in the butt.)

Kage nodded while the princess spoke, a way of telling her that she had his attention and he was actually listening. "I get that, you'll have to show me some more of your own abilities some time. They look pretty amazing." Kage smiled, walking over to her. He would regret his actions later but he didn't feel like walking all the way back to the castle and inside. So, instead of walking, he put his hand on the princess' shoulder and used his shadow teleportation to get them back to the castle. Kage felt a little drained from travelling with another person but it wasn't as bad as he had expected. Kage was capable of taking four others with him at a time but had never done that more than once, the one time being in training from years ago. "So, it's just about lunch.. would you like to come with me or go find your companions first?" Kage looked ahead of himself, they were in the same room they were when they met. "I'm assuming that either my sisters or the king, or queen, will get them so we can sit awkwardly in a room together and talk about.. the threat, most likely."

"Of course." Her abilities were easier to show off than Kage's were. Simply because fire liked to be seen. Although, like Kage, a few of her abilities would be hard to demonstrate off the battle field. Since many of them were developed for fighting.
Ruina raises an eyebrow as Kage walks over, resting a hand on her shoulder. Suddenly everything faded to black and Ruina felt like her body was melting. Then, just as fast as the feeling had come, the feeling left. A gasp escapes her lips and her eyes flare with surprise. She was now in the ballroom, the room they had met. By reflex, Ruina's pyrokentics started to flare up, the air around her getting hot. Her fight or flight response.
Ruina takes a deep breath in, before releasing it in a sigh, steam rising from her heat as she works to cool her surprise. She glances at Kage, it would be rude to ditch him. But, she needed a moment to think. "I'd like to go find my companions. It shouldn't take too long." Knowing them, they were in her room, or one of their rooms. Or, on the rarer event, Thaola had dragged Einarr and Tarron on a tour. Thaola was brave, but Ruina didn't think she was that brave to go exploring. At least not yet.
