+ Night Stalker - 7yrs - 1st Person + I listened to what he said, as he explained why he said what he said earlier. I stayed silent, even after he commented about the other male looking like an inbred. I only clicked in response, my mind was still swimming. The area made me nervous so I went back to my den. My instincts kinda kicked in and I began setting up the cave to look nicer and I made my nest a little larger as well. I did truly hope this would end well, now that the wet season is here the males have already started to cross the river in search of a mate. The interaction from earlier proves that, so I was a little worried about raising chicks. I know I could protect them and myself on a normal day but I don't know anymore. I only hoped my hard work of raising all those random hatchlings would come in handy.

Todd - 3yrs - 3rd person - Todd watched her go and as she walked out of sight he let out a deep sigh. He was not sure he was ready. Ready to father chicks? His mind raced at the fact that maybe he was too young. Maybe he wasnt gonna be able to fight off all the males that are looking rapidly and approaching by the second. He knew for a fact there were makes bigger then himself, how was he supposed to be this.. father when he made the mistake of looking away. That could of costed more then his shoulder. - It was turning to dusk, and he knew Night would be busy and maybe did not want to see him. He turned the opposite way and let out a loud call, receiving the same kind of call back after a few seconds. A friend of his, a friend hed grown up with. Someone he knew he could go to for help. He jumped the small river and began his pursuit to the other dinosaurs, his footsteps becoming lost in the loose soil as rain started to rain down the night. - Edited at December 3, 2023 04:10 AM by CRIMSON PATH

+ Night Stalker - 7yrs - 1st Person + I continued to clean and prep my cave, I wondered where Todd was as dusk was falling. It wouldn't surprise me if he ran off, with him being so young compared to me it wouldn't be a surprise. He might end up wanting to be a bachelor for a couple years still. He might even just be scared to raise hatchlings, which is understandable. If I wasn't as experienced as I am already I would be terrified. I heard a twig snap and my head shot up as I was just standing outside my cave. If I ran into my cave now I would give myself away. The only thing is, the approached wasn't trying to hide. It was just another male except this one was a pure white with scars littering his body like mine if not more. He was larger and obviously a little older than me. It only made me wonder why he was going after me and not a younger female. I let out a couple clicks, showing I was cautious and unsure. I'm sure he could smell Todd's scent around but it wasn't going to be as strong as mine since I had lived here for so long. -------------------------------------- feel free to take control of the white male if you want.

Todd - 3yrs - 3rd person - Todd got to his destination rather quickly. His eyes darting from side to side till they landed right infront of him. A female yutyrannus stepped out of the forest line, cooing to Todd with her eyes showing that she missed him. Todd looked the same. Hunting rivals turned hunting teamates because of the lack of food and cold wether. He turned his head for her to follow him, which she agreed upon. - Both fast jogging to get back to Todd's new home and the Yuty to keep up with Todd. ________________________ Is this Alio another rival or has something else to it?

+ Night Stalker - 7yrs - 1st Person + The white male replied to my cautious and unsure hello with simple clicks of curiosity an interest. He seemed to be inspecting everything while he stood in one place. His eyes traveled to me as even the moon couldn't hide my scars, I could sense a bunch of questions coming my way. "Do you not have a mate?" he asked since my scent was the most dominant. "Not officially," I said and he understood what I meant immediately. His gaze lingered on all of my scars. "Where did you get all your scars?" he asked curiously "Have you mothered a clutch of your own already but lost your last mate?" He asked he was very observant and I didn't know what to think. "No, I have not mothered a clutch of my own, but I have adopted abandoned ones," I explained and he looked at me curiously but didn't question it.

Todd - 3yrs - 3rd person _ Todd got back to the den and his trot slowed into a walk. He smelt someone. Something. His head swiveled back to the unknowingly female. She knew to wait, so Todd went through the clearing. His eyes narrowed with concern. A large male. Bigger then Todd. His breathing hitched, he saw Night by the den, no sign of over stressing. He crept closely to the male, body low and keeping close to the ground. The male spotted raised his head in suspicion, turning around and when his orbs landed on the feisty younger one. Todd lunged, feet out infront of him he landed on the males body, pushing him to the ground, standing ontop of him. Snapping his jaws at Todd he got a good chunk of feathers, but Todd had learned from his mistake, his shoulder throbbing with all the intense movements. Todd got off of the male, giving him time to just get to his feet, before pushing him with all Todd's might back down. The male slid across the dirt and stopped when his back hit a tree a dew metres away. The rain had started, fog settling in once again. It was dark, cold and now soggy. Todd's eyes fixated on the white, now muddy and dirty male's body. White puffs of hid warm breath huffing angrily out of him. He walked over to this male, he was struggling to get up. He had to be careful, he was using energy to early on. The male lunged on, grabbing a hold of Todd's neck, growls, screams and rabid biting could be heard as both of them rolled on the floor, fighting with everythibg they had. Blood was brcoming visible in the mangled mess. Not really able to tell them apart other then the black and grey flashes of skin from Todd. Flicking up dirt, the male got to his feet, standing above Todd with feirce might in his chest, opening his mouth and poiting down, Todd raised his behind and smacked the male hard on the side of his head with his tail. Both falling back to the ground. Todd scrambled back to his feet, red liquid dripping from the base of his neck and mouth. His feet a muddy red, shaking what he could off. A defeaning, disgusting and threatening scream escaped Todd as he raised his arms out, curling his lips back. The male only returned this gesture, claw marks down his side from Todd's attempts at pushing him away. They circled eachother, tail thrashing, unwavering dominance and lots of determination to be chosen. The male stopped, so did Todd, only confusion in his eyes. "How old are you." The male asked. "Im.. 3." Todd was honest, unsure of why it was so important. "Young. You fight like hell." He snorted, lowering his head, a smile of sorts spreading across his lips. "Whats your point." "My point is.. your strong. Not enough though." Todd wipped his head as he heard rapidly approaching footsteps, his heart pounding in his chest. A red, grey and black male lunged like Todd, did, feet out and mouth open. He was now outnumbered, he would have been able to see the red male concidering how heavy it was beginning to pour down. Todd felt both claws and two sets of razor teeth begin to rip into the top of his snout and his ribs. He tried to get up, he really did, his gaze shot to Night then he closed his eyes. His struggles got the male off and they both stepped back, heaving with lack of oxygen, Todd was laying down, small gasps and his body was physically giving out on him slowly. With the last bit of strength he had left he stood infront of the cave and den, limp in stance. He was not gonna let this opportunity go. He was not prepared in any shape or form, but he was very desperate to keep this good thing going. The blood wafted through the Yutyrannus Todd had brought back. Her name was Blizzard. Bliss for short. She crept in behind the largest male. Her dark coat blending in with the surrounding dark forest. She let out a death defying scream. Both males jolted in fear but her massive size appeared behind them, white eyes glowing and mouth open, teeth taking the largest male by force. As quickly as she emerged she dissapeared, hungry and she took her chance to feed and help her friend in a time of need. The red male took of running away from whatever took his friend, alarming calls ringing through the forest. Todd took a deep breath, a sigh escaping him.

+ Night Stalker - 7yrs - 1st Person + I watched the two males fight, it got intense and they spoke to eachother. I backed up quite a bit and watched the fight, there was blood everywhere. When another male showed up I thought Todd was good as gone for a second until a Yutyrannus appeared. Once I saw the Yutrannus I ran into the Great Plains, not caring that it was night. The moon had the Great Plains lit up enough that I could see all of the large dinosaurs. I even saw my tarbosaurus. - I quickly ran that way and greeted her with clicks so she knew it was me. It was obvious I was a bit spooked because I kept looking around. This caused her to be on edge, even the male with her was confused about me for a second but let me be. I traveled with them through most of the night. I even ended up staying with them through the night. Thankfully it was a peaceful night after that but I was still stressed. When morning hit they went with me back to my cave, they had to wait outside the tree line though since they couldn't fit between the trees. The morning was very eery and I was cautious. There was a slight fog, nothing too bad though, it just gave me a bad feeling. Edited at December 5, 2023 09:52 PM by Frostyhills24

Todd - 3yrs - 3rd person - As morning approached he felt the sunrise sprawl over him. He lay limp in his old den that he had. His injuries were not bleeding anymore but he was sure it was gonna take quite a while to fully recover. Bliss had helped her friend move to his old home, dragging her remains to a small hole to keep it safe in. - Todd had watched as Night had made her escape away from the yuty. He didn't have time to explain, he wanted to show her the friends he had in this rather large and dangerous world. He had felt defeated, fighting and now she had run off. Todd had felt this stinge of.. betrayal. He had only felt this a handful of times before. He stood from his den, wobbly and uncoordinated, but Bliss had seen him arise and followed his lead. She made a purring sound, letting him lean on her as he readjusted himself. He clicked in response and they both set off to find water and some kind of food that wasn't the male's corpse. He was not in a headspace to see that male again. His eyes were burned into Todd's brain like a bad scar. - The fog had cleared by the time the two had gotten to the water. Washing away the dried blood and most of the mud and dirt, Todd felt a little more refreshed. It was a tiny pond. So he just sat there for a while. Bliss had disappeared to go do what she needed, leaving Todd to himself.

+ Night Stalker - 7yrs - 1st person + My den seemed untouched and my smell was still the most dominant. But that also meant that Todd was gone, I wondered if the Yuty got him and I only began to stress. My adopted tarbosaurus daughter watched me inspect everything from the treeline as she managed to find a spot to wiggle though but the trees still cracked. He stood outside the cave as I inspected the outside. With a shaky sigh, I clicked to her, letting her know it was all okay. She didn't leave though, she could smell the other dinosaurs that had been there recently. She clearly didn't trust it, and I was thankful that she was being so kind. I watched her mate wander off, probably to find some food, right, food. I still needed to eat but I didn't have an appetite and I didn't know why. I walked over and sat next to my tarbosaurus daughter and curled into a ball as my mind wandered. I was worried I accidentally drove Todd away and I would have to find another mate. I knew it wouldn't be difficult finding a suitor but finding one that would also be a good father would be difficult.

Todd - 3yrs - 3rd person - Todd got out of the water, his feathers soaked, he clicked out for Bliss. She returned a few minutes prior. Her head down she sniffed Todd, licking his body and wounds. They had a healing sense in their saliva. He winced but it was the best that was gonna happen for now. He started his route back to the den that Night had cliamed. One more attempt at trying but if it all goes to hell he might just have to leave. He wasnt in a position to fight any more males, especailly that most males apperently travel in bachalor groups. He cooed to Bliss, his voice ragged but encouraging. The yuty followed along with him, soft and so lonely herself. She had to intention of having a family. She couldnt. She was infertile. - They both padded along, sniffing the air and Todd had his head high. The smell of Tarbosaur had washed over him but he had smelt the same scent on Night before. He had no reason to be scared. He pushed through the brush, The yuty crawling through, standing tall and shaking her feathers. Todd saw the female and Night curled up together and made a barking type sound to them.
