When Kate came running along worried saying there was a dragon injured very badly, I quickly followed behind Kate on King and it seemed Uri wanted to tag along. She was right behind us curious but seemed a little startled. Did she recognize the scent?

"I think Uri recognizes the scent," I told Kate as she led me there. Once we got there I immediately knew the main problem. "It's a runt that survived to adulthood." I explained getting closer, "Normally they don't fly this far unless they feel a purpose." I said as at the runt's wing. "especially with a bad wing like this," I said standing up and stepping backward a bit. I glanced at King and he seemed to have his eyes on Uri who was staring down the male with a look of pure shock. "What is wrong with Uri?" I said under my breath staring at her. then it clicked "Does Uri know this male Runt!?" I said out loud and my mind raced. "Was this the reason she came here not only to visit her father but to also avoid the runt? Did he come here after her!?" My thoughts were swimming

When Tobey's mate came running along even I became worried. Female humans should always reduce their activity when carrying so I tagged along just to watch over her if things went south. As we got closer I recognized a smell, more specifically the scent of the runt. I shook it off, hoping it was from a relative or something.

Once I turned the corner though my eyes went wide and I just stared. How did he manage to not only follow me all the way out here but also pick out my scent against all the other dragons? why..? My father clearly picked up on it.

"Iksis bisa se runt?" he asked

"issa se male, sīr iksā drēje" I said staring at him. "sepār skoro syt, issa va se egros morgho yn ziry iēdrosa followed tolī nyke,"

"Nyke daor mazōregon bisa," My father said and I turned to him, seeing he was examining the male. "Issa byka se frail, ziry would ruin ñuha qogron hen ānogar hae iksā ñuha finest ābrītsos bona eman produced. Nyke daor rual iā male such hae iā runt ezīmagon ñuha legacy se ñuha qogron hen ānogar." He growled "ziry iksos iā tīkun defect bona could naejot ābrītsos ezīmagon la egros morgho," He said getting closer and pointing out the problems the male has. "la male's ōdria mērī would maghagon ziry naejot ezīmagon la egros morgho. issa already laying rȳ morghon's dekossa," I tilted my head down a smidge for even considering the male. "Nyke would sagon doing la male iā vaoreznon sepār ondoso putting ziry isse naejon hen la egros morgho sir," He continued almost pinning the head of the male down, clearly tempted to remove it. I watched as my father bit down and there was a large crack noise that echoed through the tunnels.

I saw what King was doing and he obviously wasn't happy, I grabbed Kate before she could do anything. "There is no stopping King if he doesn't like what he sees. I think the runt has been pursuing Uri as his mate, which King clearly doesn't like," I paused "I have a feeling that might be one of the reasons why she came here. She might have better luck finding a male here and taking him to her cave than where she already lives." I explained. All of a sudden I noticed King about to bite down harder and I forced Kate to look away covering her eyes. The crack was loud, and it would easily traumatize someone not used to it, unfortunately, King thought highly of Uri. He wasn't afraid to risk his life for her, as she was already an adult that could reproduce. As long as she found a suitable mate, his bloodline was secure. Sure he has all the other offspring and mates that he protects; it is obvious he would put Uri before any of them though, even himself.

Ever slightly woke up when the sound of human talking filled his brain. Because of the female, his will to live was strong so he forced himself to stay atleast half awake. The male blinked slowly a couple of times, his vision slowly coming back. Though he didn't need his vision to know he was in a not so good situation. Especially because his hearing was still operating perfectly. As King came closer, Ever gulped painfully. "Kostilus jurnegon va ñuha valonqar bona ao ūndan earlier." The runt said to Uri, clearly worried for his brother despite being faced with death. He then closed his eyes as King put pressure on his head. "fish iksis syt ao. Kirimvose syt giving nyke iā chance. Avy jorrāelan." We're Ever's last words to the female before being put out of his misery. And despite it being his last words, they were still filled with love for the female.

I realized what was happening too late as Tobey grabbed me. If i had been in perfect condition, i probably could've gotten away but as of right now, i wasn't going anywhere. Despite his words, if i had been able to get away, i would've tried to stop King. Because surely he wouldn't hurt me? I watched hopelessly as King pinned the already laying down runt. "But it's not fair." I whimpered, though i knew there was nothing i could do as i now. Even though Tobey covered my eyes, i still closed my eyes, as it's not like i wanted to see a dragon die. But the horrifying crack that came with the male's death... "Ha...you should've covered my ears not my eyes." I said as tears started running down my face.

Once Tobey let go or his grip loosened, i fell to my knees. It hurt my knees a bit, but i didn't really care right now. "Im not giving you anything from now on."(lets just say she gave King a fish one time or something. This is her way of trying to scold himXD) I said, my body shaking as tears countinued to stream down. "I shouldn't have brought you here. I should've helped him on my own." I mumbled, looking down as my hair covered up my face. "It's not fair." I mumbled, trying to get the horrible cracking sound out of my mind. Despite practically being a warrior in my village, i had never witnessed someone killing. That's probably because in all my life, my village had never been to war. Still, i would rather experience death with Tobey than alone or with anyone eles.

Jesper tucked his wings in, splitting the air like a missile. His multiple friends followed suit. The group had been exploring the nearby lands for about a week and now they were returning. Jesper caught himself just a few feet from the water. Behind him, his companion's did the same. One of them splashed water on another with his tail and the other retaliated causing an air battle to commence. Jesper grined at his friends as he glided right into the ice colony. He then landed and started for his favorite sleeping place in the colony. As he walked, other dragons would make way for him and stare as he walked by. Besides the alpha dragon, King and Olive, Jesper was the next respected dragon. Even though he is a young dragon, the male had won his respect by fighting and winning. It also helped he was gorgeous. Once he got to his spot, the male layed down before preening himself. It had been a long journey, yet it had been a fun one. But now he was back home, back to his normal life.

“I’m sorry my love,” I said hugging her and trying to break her fall to the ground a little. “Neither of us knew this was going to happen, the only one who might have had an idea was Uri. But she obviously didn’t know it was him until she saw the runt. King managed to put the pieces together before any of us and had already decided what he wanted to do.” I said trying to comfort her. I looked up at Uri as she just stared at us, clearly feeling guilty because she technically could have prevented all this. King looked at us unamused, I don’t know why I took him, he always became more protective when Uri was around. I was just caught up in the moment. I guess I blame myself as well because I also could have prevented this knowing how King behaves.

I watched Tobey’s Mate break down, falling to the floor and water coming from her eyes. I felt horrible, but I know it was for the best.
“Nyke daor ivestragī ao mazōregon bona klios, lodaor kessa sagon iā sign bona ao accepted se male,” my father said and I just nodded
“Kesan rest alongside la alpha isse order tolī gīda ñuha bartos,” I said and he nodded, almost breaking his stoic expression as I walked off towards the alpha.
I greeted her with a quiet chuff, showing that something was wrong. She tried to piece things together as she heard the snap earlier. Too bad I can’t explain to her what happened, because she doesn’t understand our language. I went and nudged her side and she let out a hum, saying it was okay for me to lay with her. I lay with my back to her, then I was caught off guard by all the dragons staring at me. Most of them probably don’t know who I am, as it has been a while and for some species, I was gone long enough for a new generation to hatch and grow. What caught my eye the most was a couple of males of my species. They weren’t here when I left so I could only figure they arrived here after I left to live on the mainland. I lay my head down and let out a sigh before noticing my father entering the area. He came up with me and greeted the alpha
“kessa ao sagon alright?” He asked
“Kesan sagon sȳz kepa, nyke sepār require rest se ñuha mind requires calming,” I said before letting out a sigh and resting my eyes. He nuzzled my head a bit before going to his spot and laying down.

I typed around 400 words and lost it all because my Chromebook restarted unexpectedly so I'm gonna go cry in a corner. I was able to retype most of it but I also had to shorten some of it.

"Jesper!" One of the male's many friends called as he came running up. "Konīr's bisa gevie female hanging around. Someone ūndan zirȳla lēda dārys se se alpha late mōrītubis bantis. Skoros gaomagon ao pendagon bisa means? gōntan dārys score anothet mate?" Jesper sighed, annoyed with his friend's out burst over a silly subject. It wasn't as if there was a fight going on or anything. "Nyke wouldn't sagon surprised. Dārys iksis basically se alpha kesīr." He replied, walking away. Despite his words, he was quite curious about the new female. So, once he was out of his friend's sight, Jesper turned to go see if the female was still with the alpha. It was probably the most interesting thing that would happen today, so Jesper decided it wouldn't hurt to investigate.

I woke up to the alpha shaking me awake as she was going to get food and didn't want me to be asleep alone. with a sigh, I put my head back down but didn't fall asleep. It was definitely a quiet morning, but it was ruined once a bunch of rowdy males came into the main area. Freezing once they saw me glaring at them for disturbing the peace.
Then my father walked in, I hummed a greeting at him and he returned it.
"Skorkydoso emagon ao issare?"
"Nyke've issare sȳrkta kepa, sepār ēdrugī kesrio syt hen la bōsa journey," I said and he nodded
"sepār roar lo seek nyke, ao gīmigon kesan māzigon adere ñuha tala," my father said before walking off. Probably to check on his mates.
I got up and stretched looking around, my wings were still a bit sore from the flight, but it was worth it. My father wasn’t wrong, there are some decent-looking males here. I kept looking at them and examining them, I wasn’t even going to bother trying to hide it. I needed to show I was interested in looking for a mate.

As Jesper made his way to the alpha's area, many of the female's made eyes at him and the males either grumbled and glared or gave a friendly hello. It all deepened on wether that male was a friend or any enemy. There was no in-between when it came to Jesper and other males. And the female's, well they all saw him as a great suitor. But the thing about this male was, is that he isn't very interested in mates and he has very high standards. There was once a female who fit his standards but she died of some sickness. Jesper wanted to find the perfect female but until then, he wanted to have as much fun as he could.

Just then Jesper reached his destination. He got there just in time to see a gorgeous female glare at a group of rowdy boys. The male couldn't help but smirk, slightly interested in the female already. With a glare like that, she could go places. "Gōntan ao ūndegon bona?! ziry sepār challenged nyke! ziry's iā horrible female!" The male she had glared at said as he approached Jesper as the two were friends. "Ha, ao zūgagon hen zirȳla iā mirros? besides, īlē bothering zirȳla. Īles sepār standing bē syt herself skore iksis nice naejot ūndegon."

"Aōha va zirȳla paktot?! sir kostan ūndegon skoro syt emā sīr naenie qrinuntyssy" His friend grumbled before stomping away. Jesper smirked at his friend before turning to look at the female. She was creating quite the mood. Most of the males were staring at her, not sure if they should approach or not. And the female's, well they didn't look to happy. Just then Jesper's gaze connected to the female's. He gave the a smirk before sitting down to watch the show. One of the males had finally found the courage to approach the female.

After looking around I finally locked eyes with a good-looking male; he had good features and his colors were bright and attractive. I eyed him for a bit until I was approached by a young male who probably just reached maturity. I glared at him as he was full of pride, he was probably all bark no bite even.

"Skoros gaomagon jaelā?" I said giving the young male the side-eye. his expression changed a bit as if he didn't think he would get this far.

"Nyke nyesha ao asking lo kesā sagon ñuha mate," He said gaining his confidence back. I huffed letting steam out my nose with a growl.

"iksā smaller than nyke Se ao barely sepār matured. skoros mazverdagon ao sesīr pendagon nyke would mazōregon ao hae ñuha mate lo ao daor sesīr jiōragon se females hen aōha age?" i growled and he stumbled back and nearly got away as I bit at him. "sesīr lo nyke mazōregon mēre hen ao males hae ñuha mate, ao iēdrosa require acceptance hen ñuha kepa, dārys, se la alpha," I said aloud to all the males with a hint of aggression in my tone. I wanted to be in a more secluded area until the alpha gets back, I still wanted to be around other dragons but the attention was too much. I got up and made my way to one of the smaller sections of the colony, there were only a few dragons here and there. All of them were different species though.

I watched the interaction closely, hoping something exciting would happen because surely she wouldn't accept that weak male. He was one of my enemies younger brother, which made me want the female to do something to him. Proving my theory correct, the female growled at him. The action made me smirk as it was pretty satisfying since it was someone eles who was growling at him and not me. Practically no one stood up to his family and therefore him because his family was known to be warriors. I couldn't help but laugh when the female practically insulted him before trying to bite him. Following my lead, my friends laughed too though not as loud because they didn't want to get in trouble.

"Ziry's savage. Nyke dont pendagon ziry'll sesīr sagon able naejot jiōragon iā mate lēda bona aditude." One of my friends beside me said as i watched the female leave. "Daor necessarily. Sir konir sagon ziry's basically challenged tolvie male kesīr, se males qilōni actually jaelagon iā challenge kessa jikagon tolī zirȳla." I answered, wondering if i should follow for just the fun of it. I kinda wanted to talk to her and experience her feistiness first hand. "Ill sagon arlī." I told my friends before picking up my pace to catch up with the female. Once i reached her, i bowed my head slightly, a smirk on my face. "Rytsas. Nyke jesper. Ziry iksos issare iā while pār anyone actually ōregion ñuha interest yn ao've managed naejot gaomagon ziry. Nyke hae aōha flare."

The male I was watching happened to follow me, I was kind of glad it was only him and not the rest.

"Iksan brōstan urimenor, ao caught ñuha laes hae sȳrī lo iksi issare ilie naejot," I said as I was still laying on the ground slightly in a ball. it just felt natural to me but it was probably because it was how a female would sit on a nest. "yn nyke másino skoros issi ao jāre ta gaomagon pār nyke caught aōha laes," I questioned tilting my head so I was looking at him with one side of my head with a smirk. If he wanted to act full of himself I would return the energy. Only to see a response, to see if it was just an act, if it was an act he might not be able to hold it together. If he isn't, he will stay as relaxed as he is and he will even have a comeback to tease again. I don't know how long I will be able to "test" him or at least keep up as I might get too flustered.

I dare not normally let my gaurd down, but i couldn't help but sit as the female introduced herself. Besides, it's not like i couldn't take the female even if i was laying down. And plus, she was laying down too. "Hen rhinka nyke gōntan. Daor female kostagon resist nyke." I responded, slightly hoping she would be the one to break the never-ending cycle. I have to admit, i was slightly caught off gaurd with the female's next words. But it didn't take long for my shocked expression to turn into that of an amused one. "Eman naejot admit, nyke wasn't expecting bona." I chuckled.

I stood up and strided up to her. I put my face close to the side of her head before quietly growling into her ear, "Maybe ill emagon naejot laodigon iā mating session hen ao." I backed up slightly, wanting to see the look on her face. Behind me, i could hear some hushed whispers which belonged to my two closest friends. Apparently they had decided to come look for me. An audience, nice. They would be here to witness my awesomeness. However, i dont know what I'd do if she actually wanted to mate, because, of course, i have no intention of actually being her mate. Atleast right now.
