Tristan heard the adults finally leave. He didn't care what they said, he was going to talk to Adina. She was pretty much the only sane person there.
He made his way through the complex, and finally made it to her room, and knocked on the door. He was in the girls wing, which was technically illegal, but he didn't really care.

Ajax walked through the boy's wing in the complex, completely bored. He decided to find Echo and talk with her, screw the rules! He walked through the complex, looking at the black and white marble. He went to the girl's wing and started looking for Echo's room. He stopped in surprise when he saw the other male angel knocking on who he thinks was the other angel's door. He nodded in cold politeness and continued walking to Echo's door and knocked, frowning when he didn't hear a responce.

Tristan gave him a lighter smile. He was more comfortable with the guy, knowing that he wouldn't have to marry in one day. Adina opened her door, and her eyes went wide.
"What are you doing here?!" She hissed. "You're going to get us both in trouble!"

Ajax knocked once more, and then called out softly, "Echo, please open up. It's Ajax." But there was no response. Ajax backed away from the door, confused. He glanced at the angels and noticed that the girl had opened her door. He walked back over to them and asked, "Have any of you seen Echo? She's not in her room." He tried not to look at the girl he was supposed to marry.

Tristan was going to let Adina answer, but she was staring at her feet, trying not to see her betrothed. Trsitan shrugged. "maybe she flew away from this hell hole," he said, only half in jest.

Ajax frowned, looking away, and then nodded. "Probably something that Echo would do." And then he walked away. He knew that Echo wouldn't have left here without him. They were best friends, and she wouldn't let her friend rot in this place. Maybe she just fell asleep. But Ajax doubted that. Echo was a night owl at it's finest.

Adina started to close her door, and Tristan could tell that it was his cue to leave. He started down the hall after Ajax, but at a fair distance. The demon didn't seem to want company, especially that of an angel. He ran his hands through his hair. Maybe they could all come to some kind of agreement, something better than what was happening right now. Something the adults didn't need to know about.

Ajax sighed, just going to his room and laying on his bed, closing his eyes. I can tell that angel likes one of his own kind, not Echo. And I for sure don't like the girl. Echo sat up and groaned. It was too cold in the Inbetween. In the Demon Realm, it was always a single temperature. It wasn't hot, but it wasn't just warm. She's never been in the Angel Realm, but between the two, the Inbetween was okay in the day and cold during the night. She flew down to the open window and climbed in.

Tristan had a vague idea, and walked to the male demon's room. He wanted to talk to him about it first, and get his opinion and suggestions, and then they could present it to the girl's together. He paused at the door. Was this a good idea? It didn't really matter, because he was already knocking on the door.

Ajax opened one indigo eye as he heard a knock on his door and then opened the other when the knock came again. Slightly irritated, Ajax put on a neutral poker face as he opened the door, surprise lancing his features as he saw the male angel standing in his doorway. He invited the angel in and sat back on his bed.
