"Hmm, I must say that I like it." She smiled as she peeked over at him. She continued to read, tensing and jumping at some of the scares in the story.

Jackson smiles and rubbs Sophia's shoulder. He says quiet and leans his head on her. A quick glance at the clock reviles his parents will be home soon, but Jackson could care less. He was with her. Nothing can ruin this moment.

She smiled softly, resting against him as she gently closed her eyes, resting from the reading. She gently kissed along his cheek, only opening her eyes and gazing at the clock with a soft sigh.

"What is it?" Jackson asks. I sits up and yawns. "Bed time already?" He stretches and looks over. He returns the kiss, then gives one to the cat on his nose.

She chuckled and said, "Well your parents will be back soon. I should probably leave you be." She pat the cat on the head and smiled, "Even if I wanted to stay."

"Pleaseeeeeee stayyyyyy..........." Jackson says. "You can have my bed. I'll sleep on the floor. Or the couch. Just don't go." He wimpers and looks at her with an attemp, a bad attemp, but one nontheless, at puppy dog eyes.

"Hey, I'll stay. But you keep your bed, I'll sleep in the couch here. I'm not kicking you out of your own bed, I'm still your betrothed, not your wife." She chuckled.

"Will you accept my bed if I kick myself out? I think I have a few sleeping bags somewhere..." Jackson says. He walks to a closet and comes back with two.

"But the fire..." She whined. "I like it down here, I wanna keep the couch." She pouted as she looked up at him, hoping to win him over.

Jackson walks upstairs and walk back down with an armfull of pillows. He tosses a few on the sofa and the rest on the floor. "I am going to stay down here."
