Addilyn thought about who to put where, after all; Kaitlyn needed to stay with Aloe, Zane and Al were annoying when put together, and nobody should have to be uncomfortable with the people around them. Ami and Zane seemed to be getting along well enough with Jason's friends, of course Addilyn would love to be with Jason but that was probably too many people in one room. It wouldn't be fair to them to have that many people in one room. Besides, she needed to make sure Al didn't break anything and Zane wouldn't steal from people who helped them so he didn't need Addilyn to smack him if he did, the guilt would be enough to make him put it back. "How about, Ami and Zane move to your room? There's not an even number so the number of people in each room won't be even but that should be okay, right?" She wasn't asking for their permission or anything, it was more if they were comfortable with that placement.

Rainbow nodded, agreeing on their side for Jason and Ribs, who were not there at the moment,. "Yeah, sounds good, if it's okay with them." They rubbed their temples for a moment, the leather jacket they had on moving loudly as well. "If it's okay with Zane, then I'll go outside and check with Amika and Ribs."

Zane nodded then shoved Al when he got to close to him. Al shoved him back a little to hard which sent Zane sliding away from him and landing next to an annoyed looking Addilyn. "Both of you are so childish, especially you," she glared at Al whom she obviously disliked but dealt with him all the same. Unfortunately, she didn't have much of a choice. He was a good fighter and got along with the rest of the group well enough. Of course, she was still allowed to punch him whenever he really got on her nerves. He didn't have much choice in that department. Amika was still listening to Ribs with a light smile. Her headache reduced to a small consistent pounding in the very back of her head. When one of Ribs' jokes got her well enough she would laugh softly.

Jason appeared after a while, and Rainbow told him he sleeping arrangements. Jason looked sort of anxious, and glanced at Addi and Michael every so often, but not enough to be noticeable. The way Ribs could make Amika smile lifted his heavy heart, and chased away the biting chill. The fact that he could help someone made him unexplainably happy.

Addilyn was obviously deep in her own thoughts already. Drowning in worries for her friends. How long would they be able to stay here till they were found? Was this Michael guy really trustworthy? How many more people would have to die until Addilyn knew her friends and her Jason were safe? How was Jason feeling? Was he okay? How much longer could Addilyn hold back her feelings for him without bursting and giving in to what she wanted? When she did burst would she still have the others' respect? If they made it to Mexico how angry would her family be at her for not following the future they had created for her? The turmoil of worried thoughts we're endless, though the ones listed were the more unprotected ones. Amika sighed, realizing how cold she was by now and probably Ribs too. "Are you cold? I don't want to keep you out in the cold, you could get sick." Edited at July 27, 2018 10:51 PM by Soaring Free

Jason ached for Addi. Ached. But in his time away he had fallen into self doubt, and didn't know if Addi still loved him as much as he loved her. She was his everything. And if she liked another guy, he would force himself to be okay with it. And Michael was cool. He was better than Jason on every level, and Addi deserved someone like him. Not like Jason. Ribs rubbed his arms a bit, "I'm fine, but I don't want you to get too cold. Let's go in."

After deciding she should stop worrying so much or she was gonna look older real fast. She stood up, her green eyes finding Jason immediately. Walking over with small steps, she gently took his hand and looked up at him with a light, loving gaze. Addilyn smiled kindly, happy to be at least touching Jason though she desperately wanted to kiss him. That would probably be inappropriate though, especially in someone else's house. Right in front of them. Instead, she quietly spoke the three simple words that rolled through her mind. "I love you," of course her quiet words were trampled over by Al and Zane's loud, annoying chatter. But she knew that Jason had heard it. And that was really the only person who needed to hear it. Amika slowly nodded, righting herself again. Before he could open the door or anything Ami spoke. Her voice rather shy sounding yet very appreciative too. "Thanks for distracting me, it really helped. Thank you, so much." The words were true as they could be, a small smile on her face as she looked at Ribs.

<div style="text-align: right;">Jason looked happy with this, although he still seemed worried. "I love you too. Always," he said to her , a smile on his lips. "Thank you for everything." He gave her hand a squeeze, then looked around the room. "I'm beat. I'll probably head to bed now." <div style="text-align: right;">Ribs smiled at Amike, "It was my pleasure." And it really was.

For a moment, a wave of conflicting emotions arose in Addilyn's eyes. She wanted to stay with him but at the same time didn't want to seem clingy. Addilyn has just gotten him back and all she wanted to do was to be close to him. Finally, she nodded and gently released his hand. "Sleep well Jason, I'll be up for awhile." Addilyn was always up for awhile. Sleep only came shortly and with warnings ahead of it. She wasn't tired, she wouldn't be for a long while. Amika didn't know what Ribs meant by that. Hopefully it was because he liked making others happily. She didn't even try to consider he other option.

Jason nodded to Addi, then vanished into the hallway so he could find the room. He nearly ran into Alexandria, and the girl jumped a foot into the air. "Sorry!" Jason apologized quickly, and after a moment, Alexandria smiled, "Its okay. I just put cots in each of the rooms, so some can sleep on he bed, and the others don't have to sleep on the floor. There are also blankets and pillows." Jason as touched by her thoughtfulness, "Thank you."
