Hyll stood up, offering her hand to Nakia, "Ready to stand? Alvaro is here." It wasn't every day a new family appears out of no where. Hyll hasn't even had a family before. This is all new, yet wonderful and terrifying at the same time. Rowan closed the door behind Alvaro and followed him into the dining area, "Nakia? Are you okay?"

Neo quickly stood up next to Hyll and Nakia, his eyes watching Nakia with worry. Nakia nodded and stood up, a small smile on her face. Alvaro was super nice, and he gave off a forest-y vibe that Nakia loved. Alvaro made his way into the dining room, the familiar walls and floorboards making him smile. This had been the first ground house ever built. He'd made it himself with the help of a couple other faeries. This was a good home. Nakia's pain hit him like a truck but he didn't flinch. She was under his care now as the second in command. And like all faeries, he could feel underlying emotions though not anything else. Faeries learned young to block out emotions and things like that. Nakia opened her mouth to reply but Alvaro busted in. "Nakia, come here please." The girl shut her mouth and walked over with her head down. A sign of guilt as she slowly walked forwards. Soon she was right in front of him, cowering in his strong aura. "You're not in trouble Nakia." Alvaro chuckled softly and rested his hands on top of her head. His hands glowed a warm yellow and his mark lit up bright green. Within seconds, she was healed again.

Hyll smiled guiltily at Rowan, "Sorry I couldn't help her..." Within moments Hyll felt the press of Rowan hugging her, "It's not your fault. Alvaro has healing abilities, while you don't. You calmed her down. Good job, Hyll." Rowan releases the young girl, who was significantly calmer. Turning around, Rowan grinned at Alvaro, "Thank you, Alvaro.... Are you feeling better now, Nakia?"

Nakia smiled and thanked Alvaro with her toothy grin. "It was not a problem, just try not to hit your head on the ceiling again little one." He smiled at the small shifter as she replied to momma Rowan. "Yep! Much better than before, I'm healed all the way." Her voice was cheerful and happy, already returning to her mischievous self.

Rowan nodded once, "Good." Her voice was firm for a moment, before breaking out into a smile, "Alvaro, I don't believe faeries eat meat, but there is some fruit if you want to join us while we finish?"

WAIT. NOt only will the children know but the other faeries will be able to sense it too and they'll all give Alvaro knowing looks and he'd just confusion.)) Nakia had jumped back into her chair to devour the rest of the meat on her plate while Neo took his seat and slowly ate. The difference between the wild cat and human boy obvious even in the way they ate. "Oh, well I have time so sure!" Alvaro smiled and looked at the children. Rowan must have her hands full but she still was trying her best. Perhaps he could try to teach her how to cook. He'd lived with a few humans for awhile and had learned a few things.

Hyll slid into her seat, mostly there for the companionship, and not for the food. She watched as Rowan and Alvaro sat down, wondering if this, perhaps, was how human family's worked. A mother and a father, a little sister and brother, sitting at a table together, eating. Hyll hadn't ever experienced a family situation before, but while being on the run she saw a her fair share of people along the way.

Alvaro happily ate his portion, which wasn't much. Faeries ran on practically air, they just didn't need as much as anyone else. Nakia peered at the faerie out of the corner of her eyes, he was in a very good mood. She could tell by his bright eyes and confident posture that there was some sort of good news.

"So," Rowan spoke into the silence, "I am happy you came over - and you are always welcome - but I am assuming there is news?" She really was happy Alvaro was here. He was a kind sight. All five of them sitting here seemed also... like a family. It was nice.

Alvaro practically jumped out of his seat he was just so excited to share the news. "Okay well, I was going to wait but.." he dragged out the word with a high pitched voice that made Nakia roll her eyes. "Go one already, spit it out." Nakia acted harshly but was actually pretty excited as Alvaro just spilled happiness. "I told Kori about our progress with the border and she is sending out a message for all the faeries who left that it will be safe here again!" He was overwhelmed with happiness. He obviously cared for his people.
