Addilyn nodded, understanding, though she supposed she did have Lewis. "I can understand that, most people from my line of work aren't exactly... pleasant." People really believed that heroes were amazing idols, not to be seen as part of the human race, but they were definitely not perfect. Most heroes were not at all what they claimed to be.

Jason nodded, offering his silent understanding. After a while, their food was delivered, and Jason chowed down on his pancakes, "How is it?" Jason asked, gesturing towards Addilyn's plate with her fork.

Addilyn was already destroying her french toast when Jason spoke to her, and it took her a few moments to finally swallow and then speak. "It is absolutely wonderful! What about yours?" She loved food almost as much as she loved dogs.

"They are perfect." Jason watched Addilyn as she ate while trying to make it not as obvious. He totally had a massive crush on her, and the idea of her turning on him crushed him, if he was being honest. Even if it wasn't the smartest idea, maybe a villian and a hero could get along.... perfectly.

Addilyn didn't quite know how to feel about Jason. He had helped her out so much, and made her feel safe, and he was so nice she could barely even believe her luck. Of course, this just made it harder for her to not like him. Any girl would fall for him, he had everything a girl could want, yet there was that one problem, he was a villain. If anyone on her side found out she was not only talking to him, but also had a huge crush on him, he'd be killed and she would be outcasted to the nearest unhabitable planet to rot. But did that really matter? Not really, Addilyn would risk it. Because she knew that Jason was a good person and that no matter what they said about him, she'd defend him, just like he'd done for her. "Good! This was the perfect place then." Addilyn looked up at Jason, halfway through with her french toast (that sounds really good at 12 am) a small smile on her face. Yea, she'd definitely wouldn't let Jason go.

After breakfast? Maybe they can just converse like normal people for once or something?

yeah!)) Breakfast had been amazing, and Jason had insisted on paying for both of them. Afterwards, both had seemed reluctant to leave, so Jason decided to take the initiative and extend their not-really-a-date-date. They were just exiting the diner when he turned to Addilyn, "Do you want to go for a walk at the park? I think there is a snow cone stand on the other side... and I guess," Jason drew out the word with a grin, "I can cheat some more on my diet."

Addilyn giggled softly, her green eyes big as she looked up at Jason. She was happy he was trying to extend their little get together, because she didn't really want to leave yet either. He was just so easy to talk to. "I can't believe you're willing to cheat on your diet, it's truly quite shocking. You seemed so committed to it, I on the hand, don't have any diet to adhere to so I'm all for snow cones." She grinned as she spoke, it was nice to not worry about anything for a little bit.

The pair made their way to the park. It was an obvious change, the concrete and buildings shifting to grass and dirt and trees. Jason would often go for jogs in the trails, but he'd never stopped for snow cones before. He'd always just passed by the stand.
