Mark saw this and he immediately grabbed the man's arm as he was not going to let anyone hurt his family. Mark was standing in the way as he started to hurt the man's arm and he said "where I come from. Men protect their family and their wives. I guess where you come from. All you know is how to be a worse person. Never lay a finger on my wife or I will break your fingers. One by one." He was clearly angry at the man and it was showing. Mark said "don't ever let me see you hurting anyone ever again or next time. You will be the one who is getting injured." He pushed the guy down as he was not going to let some idiot jerk hurt his wife. Mark made sure that man knew he was serious as he was standing in front of the wife of the man and Andrea. Mark did not care if he got injured or not but he was not going to let him get away with justice being served. Mark hit the man and he said "now leave." |

The man felt Mark grab his arm and heard him, but didn't understand what he was saying, but he knew that he was upset for him hurting Mark's wife and his own wife. The man groaned slightly as he felt pain when he twisted his arm and pushed him down to the ground. The man nodded when Mark said for him to leave and he left in a hurry as he didn't want to fight with him. "Thank you so much. I couldn't get away from him by himself and you and your husband helped me so much. How could I ever repay you?" The wife thanked in German as she shook both of their hands in thankfulness. "No need. Here. Take this. It'll pay for your meal for tonight and a hotel room for the night so you can get yourself away from him," Andrea answered back in German as she pulled out enough money for her and gave it to her. Andrea told Mark the conversation they were having in English so he understood what was going on. The wife explained that she was thankful to be away from him so he wouldn't hurt her or her baby anymore as she was also pregnant and was 6 months along and it was all because of him, and she hates him but was forced by her parents to marry him. "I am so sorry for you. If you need anything, let someone know. There are plenty of people out there willing to help you," Andrea said before they said their goodbyes and the wife sat down at her table and Andrea sat down with Mark at their table. The waiter dropped off their food and left as Andrea looked at Mark. "Thank you for helping me back there," Andrea said, still very calm so no one would know how hurt she felt from him hitting her as she sat there with a bruised cheek. |

Mark was glad to be helpful and he said "you don't have to thank me Andrea. I was doing what any other husband would have done. Besides, no woman should be hit. I kinda of saw red when I saw him hurt you and I felt angry that some idiot would hurt someone else's wife. I love you Andrea. I told you that I would protect you and our baby." He was relax as he knew that he would always protect his wife as Mark knew that Andrea was a treasure that he did not want to loose. Mark said "maybe when we get back to the hotel room. We can put some ice on your cheek." He was not going to let Andrea be in pain since he wanted her to be happy. (Sorry it's short.) |

"Yeah. I just felt bad because he was hurting her and I didn't want her to feel like she had to agree with the abuse. Just because I went through it doesn't mean that other people should too. I love you too and yeah we can do that when we get back to the hotel room. I know you will protect me and the baby and I'm grateful for that. I really am glad I have you," Andrea explained to Mark before starting to eat her food. Ever since she had been with Mark, she has been eating normally and been able to eat a little more than she could when she wasn't with him. He had really helped her with being able to be herself and to not listen to much on the criticism people give her, her family and her body. Andrea smiled a little as she ate her food as she was happy that Mark was there for her and able to protect her with his life. "Are you hurt at all?" Andrea asked as she was worried that the guy hurt him and wanted to make sure his was okay. |

Mark said "you will never have to go through the abuse ever again Andrea. I could never hurt you or any other woman. I just can't see what other men have to feel the need to hurt anyone." He began to eat as he was hungry. Mark knew that he would hurt any man who would try to hurt Andrea or any other women in his presence. Mark said "I am not hurt at all. I am just happy that you were not badly injured. I think I would hurt that guy even worse." He kissed her hand as a sign of respect which Mark had for Andrea. |

"Yeah. I understand that too. I just can't fathom why people feel like they have to abuse others. I'm glad you're not hurt. That would sent me right over the edge. It's just a bruise. I can't even feel it," Andrea explained as she was able to hide her pain that she got from abuse as it was a way to give her stability and keep up with it. She also didn't want Mark to stress out too much about it since she wasn't injured more by the guy. Andrea eventually ate her food and she was happy as it was the first time she had ever finished an entire meal without bringing it home or having someone else eat the rest. Andrea looked at Mark as she was still hungry though. |

Mark said "okay. " He was listening to her. Mark had finished eating and he was feeling relax as he ask "do you want dessert? It will be my treat." He look at her as he was not sure what was going to happen next but he was hoping that she would like to have a treat. Mark said "it's okay if you say no to the treat. I understand if you want to go back to the hotel room." Mark look at her as he was not sure what she wanted to do as he was wanting her to be happy. |

"I would love dessert. I am still so hungry yet I don't know why though as I've never been able to finish my food, let alone still be hungry," Andrea said with excitement. She had a lot of energy for someone who wasn't that cheerful and had that much energy before. Her hair looked so much softer and fuller and more vibrant and so did the rest of her body. She was going through a good phase from being pregnant. "Mark?" Andrea asked as she looked at him. "What are you going to get for dessert?" Andrea asked him as she looked at him. |

Mark said "we can get another thing of food to go if you want." He was going to buy dessert for them and take care of the bill. Mark said "I was thinking about getting the ice cream Sunday." He look at her as he was not sure what she would like but he would share with her if she wanted him to do. Mark said "I will share with you if you want." (Sorry it's short.) |

"That sounds good. I'll share with you," Andrea said to Mark as the waiter came back over to ask if they wanted dessert. Andrea let Mark order for them and was quiet as the waiter left and they waited for the dessert came out. Andrea turned to see the wife she and Mark were protecting earlier was leaving, but Andrea turned back and waited silently for the food to come. Finally the waiter came out with the ice cream sunday and the check and walked away to give them privacy and let them enjoy themselves. |
