she sighed contently

she awoke in the night to a scream... HER scream. her leg was in agony. she almost blacked out due to the pain.

" OH GOD I HATE MY LIFE! UGH!" she felt dizzy with the pain her leg gave.

I wake up suddenly looking around and see the she-wolf in pain and try to help by pushing the bone back in place." This will hurt. Be absolutely still." I say and push the bone back in place

she groaned and let out a yelp.

" that feels better... thanks. um... sorry i woke you"

she closed her eyes and sighed sadly. she hated this hated being in pain all of the time but there was nothing she could do.

the next morning she awoke at dawn to cay staring at her worriedly

" what? what is it?"

"Oh just thinking if I will be able to carry you." I look at the lake and see if I could try crossing it with a wolf on my back but that would be impossible." Also you look cute when sleeping." I blush a bit

"oh" she said quietly

i can try to swim on my own... the pain is better in the water "

she slowly gets in and curses at the coldness of it.

" lets do this fast before my leg gives out again"

the pair crosses the lake and shiloh collapses onto the bank taking deep breaths

" that wasn't so bad... now what... do you think we are far enough away?"

"Yeah we are while you were asleep I walked back to the cave and it took me hours to get there." I lick Shiloh muzzle and lay down by her

" good... we should find a cave to live... together i mean... if you want..."

she blushed and turned away feeling ashamed. why did she ask the question? no wolf would want a half crippled scared wolf... she sighed sadly again. did her life even matter?

"I would love that. I was gonna ask you a question earlier." I sa embarrassed and lick her muzzle again

" what is it... what was the question?" she said leaning into him

"I wanted to ask... I wanted to ask if you wanted to be..." I keep pausing embarrassed at what you would say if I asked if we could be mates
