Sam got up the next day, feeling more refreshed and ready to take on some more studying. He rolled out of bed, groaning and rubbing his eyes sleepily. He pushed himself into the bathroom, yawning tiredly and turning the shower on. It was like clockwork at this point. Always in the shower as soon as he woke, making himself feel ten times more awake than he would if he just got dressed. After having a shower, he brushed his teeth and towel dried his hair, picking out his outfit. Plain black jeans, a print t shirt and his classic black converse. Sam decided to head to the cafe early today, to have a change of scenery from the melancholiness of his bedroom study.
Once getting ready for the day, he headed out the door, briefly saying goodbye to his father. He took his time to stroll into the town, breathing in the fresh air and enjoying the sun on his face. Sam sat down, taking out his laptop and ordering a large black coffee yet again. He didn't see the girl yet, but there was still time. He kept studying.

Valerii stroleld all over the town, paying just about 400 dollars in things no one would understand. How and why she needed them? That was her business. Spending hours int he sun wore that pore girl out. But she couldnt take a cafe break for a good ten minutes. i hope I dont look like a mess if I see him she thought, strolling towards the park just across the cafe and did a lengthy walk around it before finally deciding to walk in. She saw him, but his head was down, in his laptop. She walked in and ordered her usual bagel and iced coffee. and walked over to the males table. setting her drink down. " hey stranger" she chuckled, placing her bag down and her own self down "mind if I join?" her eyes looked mischevious, but no hint of tipping anything over.

Sam got into his studying fairly easily, the noises of the cafe soothing him into a deep slumber of revision. It wasn't something that came east to Sam, so he took advantage of it and completely zoned and focused into the studying for a good 3 hours. Eventually, a brain fog started coming in and he was struggling to concentrate at that point.
Luckily for him, he heard a familiar voice from above him. He glanced over, seeing the pretty girl from yesterday. "Hey, sure sit down," he spoke a mischievous smile creeping up on his lips. He closed his laptop and sipped on his coffee. He wondered what she had been doing that day. But it was none of his business so he stayed out of it.

" Gee Sam.. if I knew you were studying... i wouldnt have thought of thinking of coming here.... I wouldnt want to interupt your studies." she said slowly getting back up. But them sighed and thought better of it. Sityourassbackdown her mind said. And she did. She was just glad she didnt have to study. Or go to school for that matter. But one day she would have to and it would be torture. " What are you studying?" she casually asked trying to make a gentle conversation. " She sipped her iced coffee and ate her still warm bagel as she listen to him. His voice rather soft to her gangster ears. She felt her heart pounding within her chest as she looked at him. Her hands weaving through her purple dyed black hair. Only to show her tattoo in the process. She realised it, she put her hands under the table and on her lap. Afraid of what he would say or think of a young female with a tattoo on her tanned skin.

Sam shook his head, gesturing for her to sit back down. "No it's okay, I was just finishing up anyway," he spoke truthfully, a small smile playing on his lips as she sat back down. He cleared his throat before speaking once again. "It's for one of my medical exams coming up. I'm training to be a doctor," he clarified, shrugging his shoulders. Whenever he would say that, it was always get the attention of people, because the town needed more doctors. So they said. Whilst waiting for her to reply, he caught a glimpse of her tattoo, understanding that she didn't want him to see it. Therefore, Sam kept quiet about it, deciding not to mention it to her.
"I was starting to think you would show up, considering you were the one who asked me," he said playfully with a small smirk, tilting his head to the side as he watched her. She was a very beautiful woman, something that he appreciated. Sam knew most of the girls around here, so he felt rather excited knowing that there was a girl he knew nothing about.

Valerii bit her lip gently. A sign of something that was going through her as he talked. But when she noticed she was biting her lip, she cleared her through, tall tall in her chair, and drank the rest of her coffee. Ignoring the mentioning of her coming. "A doctor, huh? well of course. Tons are needed in this tiny town. You never know when a doctor will be needed. But I could see you as something else.... a Policeman perhaps? Not there are a frick ton of those around the area already." then added " theres what? 30 police here in total in this town?" Then she added " Hey... can I ask you a weird favor?" smirking back at him. The little smirk on his face made her turn a light shade of pink what is he thinking in that mind of his... I dont want him to know im in a gang... he could report me...I have to stay cool about this.

Sam watched as she bit her lip, wondering what she was thinking. He crossed his arms over his chest, his brows furrrowing as she spoke. A policeman, never. His father was the sheriff of the town and it was bad enough being affiliated with him, nevermind adding to the problem by becoming a policeman. He shrugged off her reply, before becoming curious as to what she wanted to ask him. "Yeah what is it?" He asked, sitting up in his seat and began to think about what she could possibly ask him. They barely knew each other, so he didn't understand. Was there something truly awful about her? Was her beauty and the random occurrence of them meeting too good to be true? He guessed he had to wait and see what she wanted.

Come on dont give me that look. I know that look. From waht I can tell someone in your family is a police officer. I can see it in your eyes, Sam" she let out a little chuckle before getting to what she was trying to say. " I wanted to ask if you wanted to walk around the park with me some time... when you arent studying of course. Or maybe chill at your place?" she changed her plan of action faster than she thought. She needs to get clsoe to one of her parents, who ever it was and scope them out. Maybe all this was a miss understanding, maybe it was fate and her hiding her identity was the best way to keep herself, her father and the gangs safe. "maybe talk to your folks first." she then added before she got a call from her dad. " yeah yeah I know I'll get your items after im done here at the cafe. Then I'll be home. Yeah love you too, dad. Bye" She hung up, put her phone in her bag and stood up " im afraid I have to go. Oh and one last thing....." she grabbed a piece of blue paper, wrote her number down and handed it to him. Fingers barely touching. " text me any time. I'll be around town alot these days." then she did the unexpected. She kissed his cheek ever so gently and ran out of the building and out of side. Sam was a little apprehensive, why was so so certain he had family who were in law. He frowned a little, wondering what she wanted. There was something that wasn't quite right about all this. Was he just being overly sensitive? Or was he onto something? He wouldn't know, he just listened to her proposition. An eyebrow raised up and he thought about it for a moment. Maybe he could take a walk with her. He had to think about it.
As Sam was thinking silently, he noticed she was on the phone and getting ready to leave. He smiled gently, seeing her write down her number. "See you," he said quietly, watching her get up and kiss his cheek. He felt the heat rush to his cheeks, causing him to blush. Sam chuckled a little and looked down at her number that was written on a piece of paper.

Did you have to kiss his cheek, dummy her head thought as she finished up her duties of picking up items still on the list. "Thank you very much" she said to the last person on the list. " time to go home and relax. Pretty much all she ever did at home. But she had other plans. SHe called Fin to pick her up and drop her off at the house. ONly an hour trip. Gave her enough time to text her dad she was on the way home. And yes, I got all your items her tet said to him When she got home, she walked in, up to her room and took a long cold awaited shower. Hoping her words still were in the mans head. come on, text me
