+ Urimenor - 1st Person + I watched him take off and notice he stretched his wings out and not up, letting his wings carry him off the platform without jumping into the air. "I think I know why you have trouble with hitting your wings on things." I said "When you take off you rely on your wings when you are supposed to jump. right as you are about to jump you want to stretch your wings up and right after you jump use your wings to get higher off the ground." I paused for a second "I hope that made sense but the only way I could demonstraight would be if we were to go right outside the city limits." I said "Also, when you are in the air you seem to be keeping your wings away from your body. When you go to bring your wings back up you almost want to tuck them right up against your body and put them straight above your head and then push the air below you." I could only hope it all made sense but I then paused, I was quite a bit bigger than him stil l but he was also a decent size. "How about we try this, we will both fly parallel to each other, every time our wings hit each other it will be a reminder to tuck your wings in when you try to catch more air under them. The way you fly also makes it a lot harder so you should also notice it will be easier to stay in the air. When you flap your wings like you do you are fighting the air you just pushed down, almost sending yourself back down." ------------------------------------------------------------ I've spent a lot of time trying to figure out how things fly and how they use their wings, I was basically hyper-fixated on it. That's why I was able to type a lot about it. |

Bobby (First person.) ------------------------- I listened to her and felt embarrassed as I had to hear it from a stranger on why I was having a hard time flying. I said "I will practice on flying better. I guess it was how I was taught." I went to land and I decided to do what she had said that needed to be work on. I was now being very nervous as I was not sure how to redo the flying that my parents taught me. I began to do what she said which made my flying a little bit easier than when I did it the way my parents taught. I look at her as I was not sure if it was better or not. I said "I am not used to having to someone fly next to me. I get kinda nervous about it." I decided against telling her that I wanted to fly like a normal dragon but I was not normal. I was different from all the other shifters. One of the shifters said "he can't even fly like a normal dragon." I look at the ground as I knew he was telling the truth. I said "there is no hope for me. I am not going to be able to fly like a normal dragon." I went to land again as I was still embarrassed by everyone. I was ready to go back to my dorm and just sleep. I was not sure what was going to happen next. I was about to shift when I saw some of other shifters just watching almost like they wanted me to fall. I sighed as I used my wings to hide my face. |

+ Urimenor - 1st Person + Of course, they started picking on him for not being able to fly well, but when one made the comment, "he can't even fly like a normal dragon." is when I snapped. I quickly went over and snatched the first year off the platform as he was much smaller than I was, and proceeded to pin him on the ground, under my foot, when I landed. "who are you to make such a comment when you haven't even learned to fly yourself yet, I didn't see you in the air with the other first years. At least he can get off the ground and can fly." I said as I got right in his face. The 1st year started shaking as this was not only a scolding but a clear show of dominance. "Now how about you apologize and keep your moth shut after until you can at least get off the ground." I snarled and he quickly nodded before I let go of him. as he tried to quickly get out of under me and back to the teacher I separated my second pair of wings and pinned him down with one. "Ah, aren't you supposed to say something to Bobby?" I asked with another snarl showing my teeth this time. My second set of eyes were open and locked on the 1st year. he cried out at the sudden pin, this made the teacher turn but I knew she was watching. After all, he was one of the ones in front of her that she was at least trying to instruct. One thing about the class was the teacher wasn't allowed to punish in a way a dragon would understand and get through their skull. hence where I come in, the rules she has to follow don't apply to me. So I am allowed to knock 'em around a little and remind them who is in charge. I guided the 1st year with my wing, not even allowing him to try and jump into the air. I forced him to look at Bobby as he looked like he was about to break into tears. "Now what do you say?" I asked -------------------------------------------- I got a little excited writing this... |

Bobby {First person.} ------------------------- I removed my wings from my face as I was listening to what was happening. I was surprised as no one ever stood up for me before and I was listening to the 1st year who gave a horrible apologize to me but I just said "I accept your apologize." I knew that they would keep picking on me for not knowing how to fly normal but that comment still cut like a deep wound. I sighed as I was feel unsure of what I was going to be able to do. I was wanting to know how to fly normal but I knew it would take time before I could fly like a normal dragon. I too k a deep breath before I went and began to do what I was taught to do excpet this time I was following what she told me to do. I was flying like a normal dragon now and that made me feel happy as I knew that I was not sure if she was watching me. I was hoping that she would be happy that I was flying normal. I saw that the other shifters were surprised including the one who made the rude comment about me not being able to fly like a normal dragon. I was hoping that I would be able to learn more from her. I landed easily as I look at her and ask "Was that better?" I was not sure what else I would be able to learn. I was feeling relax as I was not sure what was going to happen next as I saw every other shifter was just watching me. --------------------------- {Same.} |

+ Urimenor - 1st person + I smiled as I watched him fly around, he finally got the hang of it. I picked the 1st year back up, as he clearly could not make it back on the platform by himself. So I quite literally dropped him on it before I landed back on the ground, the smile not leaving my face. I was proud that he got it figured out, and I waited till he landed. "That was perfect," I responded with a soft and proud smile. "would you want to try flying side my side now to see how well you have it down?" I asked "The trick is while your wings are tucked I will be flapping and the other way around. We must stay in the opposite flying position the entire time." I instructed waiting to see if he was up for it. |

Bobby (First person.) --------------------------- I heard her and I smiled as I was happy that she had seen it. I wanted keep making her proud of the progress that I was making. I heard her question and I said "I will be willing to try to do it." I had never done anything like it before but it actually sounded like fun since I knew that I could learn very quickly and that was because she was teaching me. I ask "Will we have to go back up to the platform to do it?" I was not sure exactly how it was going to work but I knew that I just needed to try it at first to see if I can do it. I was looking at her as I was showing respect which was the right thing to do since she was teaching me everything. I could see that a lot of the other shifters were watching in disbelief as they thought I would never fly. I paid no attention to them as I was keeping my eyes on her as I was waiting for instructions. |

+ Urimenor - 1st person + "Don't worry about how to get side my side. I just want you to focus on getting in the air, and I will adjust so that we are parallel." I said reassuringly. If I am not careful my instincts might kick in as far as getting attached to him. The main problem is that it is easy to relax around him. "Hey if you ever need more help just stop by my dorm I'm on the 4th floor with the rest of the 4th years. My room number is 432, and just so you know I don't have a roommate at the moment. So you don't have to worry about disturbing anyone," I said but I didn't think much about it, I guess it kinda just came out. |

Bobby (First person.) ------------------------------ i listened to her and said "okay, that should be easy on getting into the air." I began to fly as a normal dragon would without the platform as I was waiting for her. I suddenly heard a whistle which came from a female shifter. She had a major crush on me but I hardly knew her as I was still getting used to everyone. I look at Urimenor as I was trying to not pay attention to the other female shifter who was making hearts in the air. I said "I might need help hiding from someone who has a major crush on me." I was not sure how well I could hide since she would probably start asking to be my roommate which I was hoping someone would say no to her. I was not sure what was going to happen next. I said "I will remember that. I promise to only come to you when I need help with something." |

+ Urimenor - 1st Person + "If you wanted you could probably request to room with me but I don't know if they will allow it," I explained as I went under him and put myself between him and the female's view. "Does that work?" I asked, motioning towards the female who was clearly fawning over Bobby. We flew for a bit and he only hit my wing once or twice, which was mainly due to the size difference since our wing-beats weren't in sync. |

Bobby (First person.) ------------------------------ I said "that would be nice if they would allow it. I mean, I trust you more than I do that girl. She believes that I am hers. It's getting kinda scary. I even had to tell the teachers." I was telling the truth as I was flying like she wanted me to. I kept hearing the whistle and it started to make me feel nervous about being alone in my dorm. I said "maybe after class. I will go to sleep in my dorm and she will be with someone else." I was not very comfortable with being whistled at as it was very distracting for me as I wanted to focus on the flying. I said "I am sorry if I am rumbling on." I felt guilty that she had to listen to me rumbling on about everything. |
