Cinder was panting, her tounge lolling she barked once and took off running. She looked behind her, Hondo was catching up. She stopped suddenly, turning around and sprinting the way that the male was coming from, tricking him so he slowed down.

Hondo sped off after her as she took off, he knew he was faster and he was gaining quickly. Just as he was about to pounce she slowed and turned back towards him and ran right past him. He planted his paws, but slid on the newly fallen leaves. He was going so fast that he couldn't stop. He was quickly coming up on a huge oak tree. Searching for any rocks or roots between the leaves he couldn't find any. He slid straight into the tree.

Cinder turned around to see Honbo run into a tree. She sprinted torward him, "Oh, are you okay?" she was worried she hadnt tried to hurt him. She walked up to him and licked his snout. Cinder blushed, "Now we are even.".

"Yeah, Yeah I'm ok." He told her as he got up. His paw hurt slightly but he could get over it. She licked him and blushed. He had feelings for her and they had just met. He licked her muzzle in affection.

Cinder sighed in releif, she helped him up and they walked back to the carcass. She snarled when she saw the birds hd almost finished it off, the birds flew away in a panick. "You look more hungery than me, you can have the rest. There is good hunting around here and no other packs so its ours to use." Cinder paused when she said 'ours', she had never really liked any wolf but Honbo was different...she couldnt explain it.

"No, no, no, you can have it." He told her, he never wanted to be rude and he didn't want her to think he was weak. "If you want we can share." He added. When she said "ours" though a deep feeling started crawling through him. He smiled, maybe now he could have a mate.

Cinder nodded, taking a chunck out of the deer and chewing on it. "Would you I mean...It would be helpful if you would help me hunt another meal. We can share it." Cinder looked up from her snack the carcass was gone, the birds where picking off the last bits. They would need to hunt soon.

He took a mouthful considering what she said. It would be good to have a hunting partner and the fact that he had a small crush on her played in. "Yes I will." He said affectionately. "But first we must find a den. Do you have one or would you like me to dig one out?"

Cinder smiled, "Follow me". As Cinder and Honbo walked through the forest it was all calm. "Here." they were still in the forest, there was a stump with a hole dug out at the bottom just big enough to be a den. "Its a work in progress, I need to makeit wider inside." Cinder whinned to the handsome male. Cinder lifted he nose to the air, sniffing for prey. There was a scent of an elk herd nearby, she could smell some claves. "I think I found us an easy meanl, come on!" Cinder raced west slowing when she saw the herd, not wanting to alert them.

Hondo followed her and immediately smelled Elk. As she said to follow it she broke into a run towards the scent. He followed her, more slowly and stealthily. Soon he saw the herd. "That one there would be an easy meal." He said as he pointed his nose to a big buck with an injured leg. "Should we go after it?"
