(Time-skip to the next morning?) / Nyra took out the hunters while her brother lead a patrol. Nyra lead them north to hunt an elk, that way there would be left overs and Blue Jay could seem impressed as to what their pack could do. She was always trying to show off and act like she was better than the rest, and being the alpha's daughter, she got away with it a lot.

(Sure, I'll set it up here) / He looked to his mom and father who basically let him do what he want in terms of running the pack and gave pointers here and there. In the hunt they got enough food for the night as to not over hunt and preserve food for future generations, the scouting went fine, and in the meeting their where no issues. So they all went to bed in their dens. The next morning he woke up and stretched his body and greeted everyone.

Nyra finished the night strong in her mind, making sure everything was in place. The next morning as she got up, she made sure to have someone keep Luna in her den while she was out. She picked a dark gray male to sit outside Luna's den, and Nyra made her way to the river a little earlier than planned, mostly to check her fur in the water. *Have to make myself look nice* she thought.

He finished the his morning jobs around the camp. Playing with the pups and helping out a bit here and there. He looked up at the sun and went out. He took his time as he was in no particular rush. He passed a mud puddle and rolled in it. That should throw her off guard. He chuckled to himself and kept going. He got to the bank and she was already their. "Morning." He said in a deep but welcoming voice, trying to not laugh.

Nyra was prepared to look at Blue Jay with a smile on her face, but it was replaced with a look of horror when she saw his coat covered in mud. She winced slightly before she spoke. "You have a little, um, mud, on you" she said. Her mother would have said he looked Un-Alpha-like, and Nyra wouldnt have agreed more. *I should hope he doesnt think that that is normal* she thought as she stood up. "Would you like help cleaning up?"

He looked at her and faked to understand what happened and made a lie. "O I apologize, one of many duties is to help start and encourage pups to get started with hunting." He got in the water and shook. Got em. He got out of the river on her side of the bank soaked. He stepped further off and gave a violent shake.

Nyra watched him shake off. "You train pups by getting yourself muddy?" She found it rather odd, but she shook it off for now. "Let's get to showing you around. First will be the camp" she said. While her parents werent too happy about showing Blue Jay where everything was just yet, they knew better than to argue with Nyra.

He followed. "We encourage them by faking and injury and falling over. It gives them slight pride and motivation to keep growing and learning and getting better." He wondered why she seemed disgusted by mud. So he scooped just a bit and snuck up. "Yes let's see." He ran in front and put just a smudge on the tip of her nose.

Nyra rolled her eyes slightly. "We train our pups by catching rabbits and letting them loose in a controlled area for the pups to catch them, and we keep it up until they are ready for the bigger prey" she said. As she had been speaking, that was when he got the mud on her nose and she quickly wiped it off with an annoyed growl. *Did he find that funny* she thought as she watched him.

As she wiped it off he sighe laughed. "You are so serious, at least smile, soon we will be wed." He gave a huff and got in front of her and stopped dead in his tracks. "And if it doesn't please you then fake it." His eyes lost all things but a cold glare. And his voice deepened to a hard stone. "Tell me, do you really want to do this?"
