Killian was having one hellish week. One nightmare after another just hit his already hard enough life. He was just worn out and tired of all the horrible crap that he had to deal with. Granted, he never told a single person that as Ian had no friends. He was dealing with his gang stuff by himself, of course he shared his command with another woman who knew what she was doing as well. Though, she could be quite immature when it came to certain things and that did not help Ian's week. The final straw was when one of his people stole a car and caused a whole load of trouble that could've gotten them all caught. Thankfully, Killian had been able to set it all right before anyone got caught. Then, of course, he went off on the idiot before storming away as he needed a break from all the craziness. He decided that a walk might be a good way to deal with his frustrations so that's what he did.

this when he ducks into Rhys place? also, if you haven't already planned it, could i make a chair about that woman?
Rhys's apartment was small and shabby, and he absolutely hated it, but grocery-store-checkout-people don't make a lot of money. The only bright side was the platform for the fire escape outside his window. It was rickety and might fall out from underneath him at any moment, but at least he had some fresh air. Currently, though, he only had the window open, and was reading inside by the light of a lamp.

Of course you can make a chari lol, she was just gonna be irrelevant but if you want her go ahead, and that's what I was thinking? Unless you want it later on?))
Killian took in the cool air with deep, calming breaths. His hands tucked into the pockets of his windbreaker. He was relaxed, which was mostly a good thing, at least mentally it was. Instead, it turned out to be pretty not relaxing. The first sign of this was the feeling of being watched. Something Killian knee was almost always a bad thing. So he continued walking calmly, he wouldn't take action in a public place unless it was seriously needed.

idk if i will i just had a delirious dream about a chair w twin braids and badly cut bangs named penelope so? we will see. and yes let's do it now
Rhys had made a cup of tea, and burrowed under a compact blanket with a book. It seemed like some scene from a cheesy movie, especially with there warm glow of the lamplight, and the stars semi-fresh air coming through his window. It was the city in a bad neighborhood, so it was the best he could get.
i rewrote this bc it was bad and ugly Edited at November 3, 2019 09:18 PM by bumblebee

Killian had just ducked and rolled right as an explosion went off in the place he'd been standing only a moment before. A bomb. He had felt the electrical field that sensed him as he passed over it and had allowed it to blow up. He immediately sank into the shadows, remaining calm as he scanned the rooftops for any other dangers. Of course, that couldn't be the end of it as Killian's life could never be that easy. Grey smoke suddenly seeped into the alley he regained himself. He released a soft sigh as he peered through the darkness. Ian brought out his wand and allowed his power to seep into it so it glowed an electric blue. He assumed they already knew where he was so giving off some light so he could see them probably wasn't that much of a problem.

In an instant, Rhys calm, cheesy movie moment was shattered. The rocking and noise of the explosion made him leap from the chair, especially after what had happened earlier that day. He cautiously approached the window, and set to working at the way to close it. The window required a lot of force to close, as it was an old building, and the landlord didn't care to fix the windows.

Killian frowned as his attackers didn't make another move, it was an odd thing. They had seemed so intent on getting him but he supposed his wand had maybe scared them. He assumed they were probably hired arms and didn't actually know who he was, what he was capable of. The sight of the blood in his wand had probably scared them off. He had began to relax when the pole came flying at him. He cringed as it his his side and sent him tumbling, the light in his wand disappearing as quickly as he had summoned it. Killian got up unsteadily and winced as his side ached from the metal pole. He knew from experience that the best thing would be to hide out for awhile until it all died down and he could escape back to his home. So he looked around for a place to hide out. His brilliant blue eyes found a fire escape leading to an open window. Killian didn't think about who he'd find in there, he could deal with that problem when he got there. He made a quiet dash for the stairs, favoring his left side where he had been hit. Ian made sure to put on a disguising spell before running up the stairs, being as quiet as he could before jumping through the window. He had been looking over his shoulder and had not noticed the man there until it was to late. The both landed on the floor with a dull thud, Killian landed practically on top of the man and looked him dead in the face while he whispered. "Oh god its you again." Today was just not going well for the respected leader.

All of the air left Rhys lungs in a giant whoosh as he toppled over. He winded as the back of his head smacked against the floor, "Ow!" He struggled to get up before realizing who is was, then let his head fall back again, "I am not happy to see you either - please get off of me."
