I am dying XD Addilyn giggled, Jason's joke immediately breaking the tension that surrouned her. Her giggle turned into a soft laugh that went in and out, something that only happened when she was laughing to hard to even breathe. "I-I'm sorry it was just to funny," Addilyn said once she regained her breathe. Her radiant smile returning, "I suppose you are right." She giggled again, it was easy to laugh with Jason.

Jason's head fell back against the padding of the booth while Addilyn was laughing, keeping his gaze on her. When she said he was right, Jason's head snapped up so fast there was a 'pop' "I was what now?" It was supposed to be a joke! Was it real? Did they have something going on? Why was Jason not aware of this?

Addilyn laughed again, almost as hard as she had when Jason had made his earlier joke. After a few moments of her weird laughing, she finally regained control of her vocal chords and spoke. "I was only kidding, you should have seen your face when I said that, I should've recorded it or something. And did you happen to break your neck? That was a super loud pop." Addilyn giggled again, though it was not the dumb laugh from before. ((Jason's reaction was amazing lmao))

"Oh my god you nearly gave me a freaking heart attack," Jason groaned, dropping his face into his waiting hands that were propped up by elbows on the table. After a second, Jason sat back up, grinning, "That was kinda funny as I think back on it. My panic and neck popping was not.... buuut it's fine." Jason rolled his head around, "No harm done!"

Addilyn giggled softly again, her smile lighting up her face, as it always did. Despite being such an independent person, it really felt good to have someone else. Other than Lewis of course. Even if said person was a villain and could expose Addilyn at any moment for who she was. And she was so happy he didn't, because then she wouldn't be sitting here right now. She'd probably be dead. "It was kinda funny only to you," Addilyn teased gently. "To me it was hilarious." Her green eyes drifting back to her hands, which sat on the table, the chipped dark purple nail polsih was coming off. She'd done it on a whim, not having much else to do when she wasn't working.

Jason shook his head, and looked around the diner. When he was sure no one was paying attention to them, he turned to Addilyn, now very serious, "You really don't plan to rat me out to your... boss?"

Addilyn snapped back into her own serious self, though her eyes were filled with truthfulness. "No. Never. You never ratted me out to any other villains, you never exposed me to anyone. Plus, you're my friend, I would never betray my friends. Even if it does go against every contract I've ever signed, I don't care." Addilyn shrugged, her eyes meeting Jason's, "I won't betray you Jason. You have my word."

Jason started hard into Addilyn's eyes, and leaned back with a smile, "I trust you," He said at last, "You seem like a person who doesn't give their word unless you really mean it, so," Jason shrugged, "I believe you, and you have my word that I won't rat you out. Shake on it?" Jason extended his hand. He believed a handshake was a promise in its truest form.

Addilyn did not hesitate to shake Jason's hand. As soon as he reached out his hand she shook it, the quick movement making her wince slightly though she didn't say a single thing as she stared at Jason's eyes. Trying to convey that she would not give Jason away. Jason helped Addilyn when she had needed it the most. Now he was her friend, and she never gave away her friends.

Jason was satisfied with the handshake. They seemed to reach a mutual understanding, and even though he has not known Addilyn for a long time... he trusts her, and Jason would like to believe she thought the same. "Now that that business is over... lets order some food! I am starving."
