Sergio sucked his teeth, in annoyed. He dropped his hand that held her chin, bringing it back to his side. Except he made no motion to move away from their close proximity. It seemed like Hannah's favorite thing to do was let him know he wasn't as scary as he was said to be. Back then he'd spend hours being pissed off because people were so afraid of him. Acting as if he was going to snap and lose his shit on them. Which was never the case. He probably had border line anger issues, but he wouldn't harm innocence people.

After he had accepted it and it no longer pissed him off, he found something different to get annoyed by. That being people who didn't believe he was the monster he was said out to be. Which it wasn't like there were many. Only a few girls had that kind of mind set, except they thought they could change him. That pissed him off and only pushed the idea of dating further away. The other percent of those people were brave in the beginning until Sergio proved them wrong, they changed their mind real quick. And then there was the 1 percent, Hannah. That constantly tested him, yet he hadn't done anything other than get annoyed at her. Maybe for once he'd give her what she wanted.

Sergio could feel his own heart race, as she pulled him into her. He gripped her jaw, angling it to the side. Leaning down, he kissed her jaw a few times. When they got like this, it almost seemed impossible to keep his hands off of her. He pulled away though, gazing down at her. A serious look playing on his features, like the playful Sergio from seconds before was erased. "You want me to prove it to you?" He questioned, a dark undertone to his words. He knew this would probably end badly. He couldn't tell what her reaction would be. If she would begin to actually fear him like everyone else, or not. Although, Hannah seemed to always put on a tough persona, he had feeling once she caught a glimpse of what he was truly capable of, she wouldn't look at him the same. She would just be another person to add to the list of people that hated and feared him. Weirdly enough, he didn't like the sound of that.

Hannah smiled to herself as she watched him, that definitely struck a nerve. She had heard, and seen, about him when he got pissed off and it’d be intimidating if that was a situation where it was a possibility of them getting hurt, but Hannah knew he wasn’t doing to hurt her. And despite her claims, maybe he intimidated her a little but that was something that she wasn’t going to tell him, it was something that she’d overcome on her own, and then things were going to become a whole another level of crazy when that happened, for sure.

Hannah looked up at him, a smirk playing on her lips. Thinking about it for a moment, she laughed softly. Leaning back against the cold metal, she watched him carefully. Wherever this was going to go, Hannah knew it’d be one hell of an adventure. Tightening her grip on his shirt, she stood on her tiptoes, pushing herself up to his ear. “Show me what you got, lover boy” she told him, brushing her lips against the side of his jaw.

This is so short 😐

Sergio closed his eyes briefly, at the feel of her lips brush against his skin. He pulled away from her slightly and shook his head. "Not here." With that he glanced around, making sure no one was coming. He knew his words were vague and could mean many things. She would soon find out for herself though. If she was afraid before the whole thing even started, then she wouldn't last to watch him in action. Deep down he knew this was a bad idea. He wasn't even suppose to do this sort of thing, but oddly enough he wanted Hannah to see for herself. Not necessarily because he wanted her to be afraid of him, but in a way he wanted to show her a peak into his life. Something he's never done. Not even for his so called friends at school. She would be the first.

Pulling completely away from her, he made plenty of space between them. Cutting their interaction short. Not that he wanted to, but Hannah bringing the whole topic up put him in another mood. Not that he was angry to the point where he destroyed everything in his path, but just annoyed. He shoved his hands in his front jean pockets. A stern look on his sharp features, he nodded to her. "I'll pick you up tonight." With that he turned on his heel and began heading out of the school. He stopped in his tracks, looking over his shoulder to Hannah. "Don't say I didn't warn you." He clenched his jaw. Turning back he kept walking.

Hannah frowned slightly, at the sudden lack of closeness. Pouting a little, she watched him curiously. This seemed like something that likely meant a lot to him and she had absolutely no idea what that meant. She couldn’t tell if that worried her or just made her want to know even more, but it was likely a mix of both. Nodding a little, she smiled to herself. “Sounds like a plan” she told him, before walking away, towards the front exit. Hannah didn’t feel like staying at school much longer after all that, it was better to just leave now.

Hannah pushed the door open, readjusting the way her bag sat on her shoulder. She needed to go and get coffee, or just something with caffeine in it to get her mind off things. Pleasantly surprised to not hear the office opening and somebody coming out after her, she made her way over to her car. Getting into the drivers’ side, Hannah dumped her bag and phone into the passenger seat before pulling out of the parking lot, immediately heading towards the same coffee shop she’d been to this morning.

Before running into Hannah in the hallway, he received a text from his uncle. It had something to do with helping down at the family business. Not the mechanic shop this time. He'd been avoiding it. He preferred the mechanic shop over the bakery any day, but seeing as the business couldn't be run by a single person, he couldn't avoid it forever. He didn't actually plan on skipping for this reason, but seeing as it came up he would just do it without a fight.

He managed to get there pretty soon, seeing as he sped through the streets. Instead of parking in the back alleyway, he parallel parked in the street, in front of the shop. He didn't normally do that, since his car always looked out of place. It attracted the wrong kind of attention. What was an expensive car like that doing in the run down part of town? That was the running question that forced him to constantly hide his car when he was home. Stepping out he slung his bag over his shoulder once again, making his way towards the doors.

Pushing the doors open, the bell rang and he immediately was met with the aroma of freshly baked pastries. A scent he was very familiar with. Walking past the tables, he headed towards the back of the counter. He tossed his bag behind the counter, then walked over to the sink. Washing his hands, he stole one of his favorite pastries from the display case and began munching on it. He glanced out over the tables. Not a single customer was seated out there. Thats how it usually was, so it was a surprising sight.

Brushing his hands free of crumbs he went into the backroom, where the goods were made. He didn't see his grandmother anywhere. Assuming she was probably up stairs. The minute he entered the kitchen he was heating up in his long sleeve. That happened often, as the building didn't have controlled temperatures. Only a few old fans were on. Heading into the far back, out of view of the store front, he grabbed a spare shirt he'd left down here on purpose. Changing into the black tank, he snagged a white apron off the hooks and tied it on. He was quick to get to work. Only taking a moment to glance at the clipboard his grandmother used to keep track of the goods they were low on.

Sergio had been working at the family business his entire life. He knew all the recipes by heart. Quickly washing his hands one more time, he began his work. Just behind the counter, in the wall, there was a large window that looked into the kitchen. It was so customers could watch the bakers. From an outside view, this was certainly a strange sight. The infamous bad boy, covered in tattoos, wearing an apron, and carefully making delicate Italian pastries. It would probably be embarrassing for someone to see him like this, as it didn't fit their image of him. It was soft. He wasn't soft. However, he wasn't worried about anyone from his school seeing him like this. The family business was practically non existent to the rest of the world.

Hannah drove through the streets, taking the long way around, just to get some peace of mind before she had to deal with people again. The coffee shop was always busy around this time of day, which usually meant she’d get recognized either from her reputation around the city, or because of her races. Both of which she didn’t feel like having to talk about right now. She already had a headache pounding from the noise at the school, and the anxiety shooting through her body like blood. She didn’t know why she was so anxious, but she had a feeling it was because of whatever Sergio had planned for tonight. Hannah didn’t know what to expect, it was one big mystery, one that she wanted to solve, no doubt, but it was still a mystery. She was slightly worried about how the night would end, but it’d be fine.

Hannah didn’t have the perfect track record around him, especially in these last few weeks, it seemed to just be getting more intense each time they had one of their little moments, in between ignoring each other’s existence. She didn’t feel particularly bad about it, but it didn’t sit right with her either. It seemed unfair, but then again, he hadn’t made some sort of move to change things and neither had she so it wasn’t like it was all one-sided. They were both to blame for this situation they were in. Deciding to stop procrastinating, she pulled into the coffee shop parking lot, quickly finding a parking spot at the front. There was quite a number of cars parked, which would be a whole lot of fun to deal with right now. Hannah grabbed her sunglasses out of her bag, sliding them on and getting out of her car.

Walking towards the entrance, she watched a few girls walk out, drinks in hand. Brushing past them, she rolled her eyes, ignoring their pointed looks and whispers. She had grown quite used to it after all these years of being labelled as a number of not so admirable things. It was a little sad, but it didn’t matter anymore, Hannah had formed a thick shell against it so it never got to her anymore. Opening the door and immediately comforted by the familiar scent, she went and sat at her usual booth after giving her order to one of the girls in the front of the shop. She settled comfortably on the squishy seat, scrolling through her phone as she waited. Hannah received her drink rather quickly, only staying a few minutes after that to chat with the employees briefly before heading back outside, finally getting in and going home.

Sergio blankly watched the large industrial mixer, slowly churned together the ingredients. He flicked the setting, making it go at a slightly higher rate of speed. He kept a hand on the top of the machine, as he waited patiently for it to reach the right consistency. Hearing the bell on front door chime, he glanced over and out the window. Spotting an elderly couple shuffle their way inside. Bright smiles on their faces. They eyed the goodies that awaited them within the glass display cases. His grandmother asking the usual questions and offering them a few things.

His gaze flickered back to the machine. He was glad his grandmother was too occupied by customers, to be able to pay attention to him. She'd probably scold him for not using his time wisely. He could easily be working on something else, but instead here he was starring into a mixing bowl. He was growing bored, but didn't bother taking a break from all the baking. They only had a few more hours until they closed.

His mind went back to Hannah and the whole ordeal he got himself into with her. He had to show her a glimpse of his life. That was a scary thought. He didn't do that. Ever. As long as he took her and tried it, then thats all that mattered. It wasn't like they labeled each other as friends, or anything in fact. So in the case where she did become frighten, nothing would come back to him.

Hannah sat on her bed, curling her hair into soft waves. She was beginning to grow a little nervous about tonight, he had been infuriatingly vague about what was happening tonight which confused her. Whatever was going to happen, it was bound to be something that was likely important to him, or something he hadn’t shown many people before. But it seemed a little odd for him to even offer to show her, she would have guessed if he was ready to show people, he’d start with his friends, she would have never guessed it would be her at all.

Shaking her head slightly, she didn’t want to mess this up. Standing up, she checked her reflection in the mirror. Pulling her dress down slightly, Hannah shrugged. She let the stretchy black fabric sit comfortably on her skin. Flicking a curl over her shoulder, she let the curls fall down her back smoothly. Hannah grabbed her sneakers, slipping them onto her feet, the black and white canvas matching her makeup. Smiling to herself, she pulled her phone off the charger and sat on her bed, scrolling through her messages, waiting for Sergio to show, whenever that was going to be.

Sergio probably didn't even need to send Hannah a text that he was here. His loud car would announce his arrival anywhere he went. He put the car into park as he quickly sent her a text. Oddly enough something felt off. It might just have been the fact that he was taking her to the place he spent most his time. There was a nagging feeling in the back of his mind, that this was a bad idea. Only he kept telling himself it would be fine if he just took a few extra precautions. No doubt the Ring was a dangerous place, even for the people who came to watch. This time around he would have to watch his back and Hannah's.

He knew Hannah was tough and could stand her ground, but to what extent he had yet to know. For all he knew she could crumble when it came to the people he was about to surround them with. The majority were fresh out of prison, having committed unspeakable crimes and that was coming from Sergio. They were unpredictable. Yes, the majority loved him, but one never knew when they would get tired of him. Even if he was winning match after match. Plus, they could team up on him like a pack of wild dogs. Sergio was a good fighter, but he could only take on so many.

Sergio's leg bounced up and down. A clear sign of him being anxious. He knew he was the one that brought it to this point, but that didn't mean he wanted it to end in Hannah being afraid of him. Weirdly enough, he enjoyed Hannah's company. Probably the first female he'd kept in contact for this long. That excludes Zoey of course. His gaze flickered between his phone and the front door. He'd have to go over a few things with Hannah on the drive there. It was for her own protection.

Hannah had been sitting around, waiting for him to arrive when she heard the car. Figuring it was him, her assumptions were confirmed when she saw her phone go off. Checking it, she read the text and walked outside, the black denim jacket folded over her arm. It wasn’t necessarily cold, but she knew how quickly the weather could change and the fabric of the dress wasn’t thick enough to keep her warm. Pulling the sleeves down over her hands, she quickly locked the door, tucking her keys into one of the pockets of the jacket, smoothing it down after.

Hannah turned towards the car, walking over quickly and sliding into the front seat. She looked at him, he looked nervous. She couldn’t tell if that was a good thing, it didn’t seem like one but Hannah didn’t know with him anymore. It could be about something totally different, but it was more likely about this. She had given herself a moment to actually think about things, and she realized something. If it was that bad, he wouldn’t be taking her, so it would be fine, otherwise she doubted he’d have risked it. Smirking slightly, she looked at him,

“Nervous?”
