The faeries stopped to wave at their second in command and gave him smiles. Most were tired and nervous for the news he brought but his reassuring smile helped and soon word had spread that Alvaro was back with two new children. Neo was in the town receiving handouts from the older faeries that took pity on the little human. Over the course of the past few days, Neo had grown used to all the magical faerie stuff and now was just trying to learn their culture. He was one of the first to hear the news of his semi-mother and Alvaro's return. Along with the strange children they'd brought with them. That didn't matter though, Neo needed his mother again. So he politely thanked the women, put the supplies in his bag that he carried everywhere. And ran to where she should be coming through. His long legs carried him there quickly and as soon as he saw her, he shouted. "Rowan? Mother?" He was smiling as he made his way over. Nakia looked up when she heard the shouts of some boy. Her amber eyes locked in on him as he made his way over. She carefully sniffed the air to figure out what he was. Human. He was pure human, he just smelled like faerie. Like everything here.

Rowan quickly went over to meet Neo and picked him up without a thought, giving him a tight hug, "Has everything been good here?" She asked, worry seeping into her voice. First, she would make sure Neo was okay. Then, it would be time to introduce him to the new children, and find Hyll a spot to plant her tree.

Neo smiled and hugged his mother back. Brown eyes sparkling with emotion, his bag heavy against his side. "Yes mother. The faeries have been really nice and I've been learning more about them and their culture. It's so different than ours. How have you been?"

"That's good!" Rowan set Neo down, but kept a hand on his shoulder, "Our trio was successful with its main goal. We did, however, find two young ones." Her smile faltered momentarily, "If it's okay with you, I would like to take them in. They'd be your sisters - and would live in our home."

Neo looked up at Rowan with a smile, that didn't dim at the news of more children. Of course, the house only had three bedrooms but they could make it work! "That's awesome! Theres nobody here to play with anyways. And we all need each other in these times, right?" As if thinking about it caused him pain, he looked down at his shirt. Underneath his shirt were distinct injuries. Injuries he should've died from but Alvaro had saved him from death. Nakia watched the interaction hopefully. Her piercing amber eyes filled with curiosity.

Rowan waved Nakia and Hyll over, smiling brightly, "This is Nakia," she introduced, "And this is Hyll." On the journey back, Hyll had gotten more used to Rowan, Alvaro, and Nakia, but another new person? She was shy, but did come over in the end.

Nakia bounded over, her amber eyes looking over Neo with a smile. The toothy grin showing off her pointy fangs. "Hi!" she chirped delightfully. Although she looked quite kind, Neo knew there was something off about her. Something told him she could be quite deadly when she wanted. Hyll seemed a bit quieter but that wasn't a bad thing. Neo waved at Hyll with a politely curious smile. His own, very human teeth on show. He spotted Alvaro talking to another faerie a short distance away and waved at Alvaro too. The faerie smirked and mouthed a hello before facing the man in front of him.

Hyll shuffled her bare feet, "Where is your home?" she finally asked, her voice scarcely above a whisper, "I need to plant my tree. And, um, it's nice to meet you," she added in after a thought. Hyll wasn't trying to be rude. The nymph wanted to plant her tree, and give it the proper care it needed to grow.

Neo had read many stories as a youth, and vaguely understood what Hyll might be. Especially since she referred to the tree as hers. His curious expression never let his face, neither did his smile. "It's just near here. And I'm Neo by the way!" He smiled brilliantly before turning around and heading towards their house. Nakia ran ahead but once she got to far, turned around and ran back to Neo. She was just a ball of energy. Alvaro noticed the others leaving and said a quick goodbye before taking off into the air so he could catch up. In the sky, there were many faeries, but not nearly as much as normal. The thought saddened him greatly, but with Rowan's help, the borders should be restored by the end of the month and would be able to keep stuff out and let the rest of the faeries back in.
