Addilyn had just returned home when her watch pinged, a sign that she had a message. She left this watch at headquarters normally while she left her phone at home. Many heroes brought their phones out with them on missions but she wasn't that dumb, especially not after seeing one hero almost die because their phone went off because they'd forgotten to turn it off. So like a smart hero, she left her phone at home and kept the watch at headquarters. After all, every hero was required to report there after a mission. Despite what many citizens believed, hero work didn't stop just because darkness tended to be the villains' domain. Addilyn had learned this in her first week of hero training. She was one of the few heroes that were prepared to work nights, it wasn't like she slept anyways. Addilyn had to go to a meeting, a meeting that was much to early for her liking. The meeting had been about when she was going to come back to help the other heroes out. Apparently this city was just bustling with villains and they needed 'Silent Shadow' back as soon as possible. Despite her lack of energy, she still jumped for her phone when she heard the ping. Granted, her phone was all the way in her bedroom but still. Addilyn read Jason's text in a hurry but took it in all the same. She replied simply, truthfully, she didn't know if her phone was tapped or not. There was a possibility that her bosses might want to watch her. So instead of saying it all, she remained calm and steady as she texted him. 'Jason I'm not stupid, I know. Thank you, so so much.' She knew that she wasn't wrong, she felt it. Perhaps they should meet up again, so that she could actually tell him in person that she'd never tell on him, he'd killed for her. It wasn't something she could've ever done herself, and Jason had done it.

"Of course you aren't stupid, you'd figure it out eventually lmao >:D" Crap crap crap crap crap crap. Crap! She figured it out. Shoot. Jason was panicking. It was time to move - a town would be to close? Country? How about continent? Australia sounded good. ... He needed to calm down. It would be okay. There would probably be police swarming his apartment already if she decided to tell anyone. Jason didn't want to think it, but he was shaken and paranoid, but maybe it was going to be blackmail? They were in a stalemate, almost. She knew who he was. He knew who she was.

Addilyn knew she was probably freaking Jason out, as he'd caused the same panic in her when he'd figured out her own secret. She knew she should probably reassure him or something, that would be the right thing to do. 'Now you know how panicked I was when you did that XP Anyways, do you want to meet up soon? To talk? I won't tell anyone by the way, you're my friend and I wouldn't do that.' Addilyn knew that this was completely against her job contract, yet she didn't care. Addilyn was loyal to a fault, especially when it came to her few friends. Jason was a friend. She'd never betray a friend.

"Sure. Imma head to sleep now - txt and figure it out in the morning?" Jason hadn't had to stay out this long in a long while. He could hardly keep his eyes open, if he was being honest. While still being dressed, he collapsed into bed, and immediately fell asleep.

Addilyn swiftly replied back, flopping onto her bed as she did so. 'Okay, get some rest ^^.' And with that text, she changed and jumped back into her bed. Exhaustion allowed her to fall asleep almost immediately.

Okey)) Addilyn had woken up late in the morning, practically noon to be honest. She woke with a sense of relief now that her attackers were quite dead. Not knowing if Jason was up yet, she just continued on with her normal activities. Making coffee and turning on the local news, she still was on 'vacation' so she didn't have to worry about work. Addilyn was just about to settle down with her coffee when the doorbell rang. She groaned as she put her beloved coffee down and went to the door. She was careful to look at the monitor which was connected to the cameras outside. It seemed that it was a man, a well dressed man, with a.. dog? Addilyn finally relented and opened the door, her eyes landing on the man then the large dog sitting next to him. "Can I help you?" Addilyn's voice was filled with quiet suspicion, she wasn't very trusting. "Ah, Ms.Stevenson, it's nice to see you. The agency has decided that as a company, we should do a better job of bringing our heroes a sense of security out of costume. I am part of the new comittee that is assigned to that department, and I am here on our first mission. This is Tam, a belgian tervunan, he is trained to be a guard dog and has retained his playful, affectionate demeanor. He is now yours. We have all the things necessary for him to live here, if you will have him of course." Addilyn turned from the man to the dog that stared up at her sweetly. His puppy dog eyes sent her and she giggled softly, bending down to be on his level. "I'll keep him, he's adorable. Thank you," she smiled as the dog sniffed her hand then began to lick her face. It seemed that Silent Shadow had a new companion.

aw <3 Jason normally woke up early, and today was no exception. He was out of the house and at the gym around 8:30. He worked out for a few hours, then showered at the gym and headed home. As he fumbled with his keys, a very official looking man knocked on the door next to Jason - where his superhero neighbor lived. He had a decently sized cage in his hand, and while even the crate was straining to hold the weight of its contents, the man wasn't struggling at all. Must be a person with a strength power, Jason thought, watching out of the corner of his eye. Finally, the hero opened the door with an annoyed expression on their face, and honestly? Jason didn't blame them. If his boss came to his door on a day off, Jason would kick him out the window and let him fall. Luckily Jason didn't have a boss. As the official tried, and failed, to be quiet, Jason listened carefully, pretending his key was jammed. Apparently, heros were getting companions. An interesting idea, but it may work. The hero didn't seem thrilled about it, but begrudgingly said yes, and the official dissapeared into the apartment. Jason was concerned about what this would mean for him, but knew he wouldn't be able to do anything about it currently.
