Things started forming in Rachel's mind. She had a guess as to who the pup belonged to, as he didn't look anything like any of the other pack members. Jason speaking snapped her put of it. "Do you by chance know who the mother is?" They didn't care about the hole half pack thing. To them it honestly just made bonds between packs stronger.

He looked to her. "O don't worry, she is being trained by our battle teachers and my personal closest friend. She won't mess with you and your pack once the merge happens." He tried to ease her, in truth it was a half hearted attempt he looked up to the sky before he exhaled a deep and long sigh. Bored out of his mind and hating diplomatic crap. Then he had an idea. "I'm bored, you?" He turned to look at her as his tail was wagging ever so slightly.

Orion growled. "Didn't bother asking. He betrayed the pack and that's all that matters" he snarled before Maya stood up. "Enough Orion! I'm done with you acting like this. It's horrible, and rather annoying. Both you and Nyra don't even deserve to lead the pack anymore" she snapped. The look on Orion's face showed this was the first time Maya snapped. As Maya looked back at the other alphas she sighed. "There are much better Females that Blue Jay can pick as Alpha that won't be so rude."

Nyra was about to speak before she heard the faint sound of her mother yelling. She couldn't tell what it was about before she glared at Blue Jay. "If your parents upset my mother, be ready for a fight" she growled before taking off towards her mother.

Bluejay heard screaming, then Nyra was pissed. Damn. He looked over the bank. Seeing if Luna had any any idea of what was going on. He didn't see her and that made him smile. Knowing she was safe. Then he followed Nyra. Quickly ending the gap and getting ahead of her, ready to protect his parents. He then jumped to the other side of the river and got in front of them. Ready to take any blows. Then Rachel gave a wisper to Bluejay. We're fine darling." He gave her a nuzzle. Jason Quickly followed up. "If that is seen as the only way of peace when the packs merge, then that's completely acceptable. The rules state wolves from both pack must be mated. It doesn't say who." The words of his father made Bluejay tilt his head and relaxe simultaneously. I don't have to be a mate with Nyra. He glanced behind him for a moment. Luna. He snapped himself out of it. Waiting to see if how Nyra or her father would react, and at who. Either way he was going to protect someone. His parents or Nyras mother, she was worth saving he thought.

Luna tensed up and followed quietly, though when she stopped she was in sight of Blue Jay and his parents, though hidden from the others. She hoped Rachel and Jason wouldn't be upset she was there as she heard Orion speak. "What has gotten into you" he snapped. "You of all wolves should know why we have to be strict." Maya rolled her eyes at him. "No, I don't. You just bully the pack around and you didn't even bother telling Luna's mother why she became an omega, lying to her broke her heart so bad she died! You didn't even care! You are a heartless brute who obviously doesn't even care to think about others!" Orion looked rather hurt at the last part, but he deserved it. Nyra's eyes were wide, her jaw dropping. "And you young lady, don't deserve to take over the pack! In fact, from now on, you are no higher than a hunter!" Maya let out a sigh as she caught a whiff of Luna, but she didn't say anything.

As Nyras mother snapped Bluejays Jaws dropped but his father snapped him out of it so he quickly shut them again. He turned to his mother who seemed proud of her. In truth he was to. Then he smelled Luna. She was to close, the situation just became dangerous. He stood up again. Just in case. And he watched the other side of the river from the grass moving to the fur on them. Watching their muscles.

Maya stood tall before she looked back at Blue Jay, Nyra's head hanging low. "With your parents permission, I would like the packs to merge, tomorrow, with YOU as their alpha. It's been obvious my mate and daughter are not fit, and there is no rush on you picking a mate, and if you do, it doesnt have to be a Storm Pack" she said, much calmer. "And I know someone who can give you a tour of the territory, once the packs are merged, isnt that right Luna" Maya said, before Luna slowly walked out into the open. Maya watched as Nyra and Luna both tensed up, Nyra ready to attack. "Oh no you dont" Maya growled to her daughter. "You have some apologizing to do, both of you" she said as she glared at Orion. "You caused her to be an orphan, and you" she said to Nyra, "have been nothing but horrible for too long." Nyra gave a low growl, and was about to say nothing until Maya snapped near her daughter's muzzle, causing Nyra to yelp a bit. "Sorry" she mumbled and looked away before Orion shuffled his paws, not daring to anger his mate any more than he had. "I am sorry Luna" he said before Maya sent them back to the camp. She turned to Rachel and Jason. "I hope it's not too soon for me to mention Blue Jay being alpha" she said as she watched Luna move closer to Blue Jay.

Bluejay gulped. He knew they all knew. The one thing he was told not to do he did. And when she walked out he heard Nyra and his hackles raised but his father pushed his paws and he cut it out. He nodded to Nyras mother and then his own who was trying to hide her smile. Jason spoke up. "The sooner the better, I assure you. And we have been teaching him to get ready. Just have everyone know their are going to be a lot of changes." Bluejay just stood, stunned. Happy the issue has been settled, but ruling from day one with no help. He would be lieing if he said he wasn't a bit nervous. He just kept looking between everyone. Happy, panicking, relieved. So much at once. His breathing became labored as everything went out of balance. He walked to the bank to get a drink, keep himself from passing out and it worked. He looked to Nyras mother and lowered his head, knowing she would be doing that to him soon. "Perhaps I should spend the night there, with my father and mother. So we can learn your systems and such?" He looked to his parents who nodded at the idea, and knew he was panicking. Rachel added. "It would also be beneficial for your pack to meet their next alpha." She looked to Jason who simply nodded in agreement.

Maya seemed somewhat hesitant on them staying, but agreed. "If you do, bring Luna. While I trust she will be safe in your territory, I dont trust my daughter to not try something. I know keeping an eye on both will be easier if both are with us" she said. "I also hate to ask, but was there a litter a while ago that you had no idea who the father was because he wasnt helping with the pups" she asked. She wanted to know since Luna's father didnt allow it to be known he had a secret mate and pups until Orion caught him sneaking back over after seeing him with another female at the border.

Bluejay nodded. "Of course, I see how it would be easier, and also your pack would trust me more if she came back and saw her completely safe." He turned to his parents as she spoke about Lunas father and turned to Luna. Rachel spoke up but she turned to Bluejay instead of Maya. "We have reason to believe that Cin is the product of the affair." A silent tear fell from Bluejays cheek. A lot of things making since at once to him. He inhaled deeply as he turned to his parents. He was getting upset. "You never told anyone, and you never told him?" He raised his voice before putting his head under his mother's neck. "He needs to know." He looked up at her and she nuzzled him. Then Jason stepped in, never one for emotions or messiness. "You and Luna should go, we've been here a while and it's getting dark." He looked to Luna to see what she thought of everything.

Luna hadnt heard anything about what was said about her father since she had been following Blue Jay at the time and looked confused. "Wait, whats going on" she asked before she looked at Maya. "Your father was banished for having pups with another female, one in their pack. And from the sounds of it, they know one of your siblings." Luna looked shocked and took a step back, her ears lowered. *I have siblings? Or, at least one?* She didnt know what to think.
